He feels a spark of excitement at Takeshi's offer. The thought of training and learning to control his ability sounds exciting. "You'd help me train?" Takeshi nods, "Yes, I would be happy to teach you. I have some experience with Spectrum and Surge, and I can guide you in your training." He looks at him intently, "But it won't be easy. You'll have to work hard and push yourself. Are you up for it?" He nods, determination in his eyes, "I'm up for it. I'll do whatever it takes to learn and control this power. Teach me". Takeshi smiles, pleased by his enthusiasm. "Good. We'll start your training right away then. But I should warn you, it will be harsh and intense. You will be pushed to your limits and beyond. Are you sure you're prepared for that?" He takes a deep breath, steeling himself for what's to come. "I'm prepared. I'm ready to do whatever it takes to learn and control this power. I won't give up, no matter what." Takeshi smiles, impressed by his determination. "Good. But remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, and you won't master your Spectrum ability overnight. It will take time and effort. But I believe you have the potential to become a powerful user, and I'll do my best to help you achieve that potential." He nods, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "I understand. I'm ready to put in the work and train hard. I won't let you down." Takeshi claps him on the shoulder, "That's the spirit. I'll take you to my dojo to start your training. From now on, you will stay there and train with me every day. Are you ready for that?" He takes a deep breath and nods, "Yes, I'm ready. I'll stay at your dojo and train with you every day. I'm a quick learner, and I won't give up until I've mastered my power." Takeshi smiles approvingly, pleased with his determination. "That's what I like to hear. Come with me, then. The journey to the dojo might be a little long, but we've got plenty of time to talk and get acquainted on the way." He follows Takeshi as they begin their journey to the dojo. As they walk, he can't help but wonder what kind of training he will undergo, and how long it will take for him to master his Spectrum ability. Takeshi begins to chat with him as they walk, telling him about the dojo and the training methods he'll use to help him master his power. He listens intently, taking in every word and feeling a mix of excitement and nerves at the prospect of the intense training. Takeshi tells him about the strict training regimen he'll be put on, and the various techniques and exercises he'll be learning to control his power. He also tells him about the sparring sessions and drills he'll be taking part in, to sharpen his combat skills and build his endurance and stamina. He takes in every word, his mind racing with images of the training he'll go through. He can picture himself sweating and struggling on the training grounds, pushing himself to the absolute limit to control his power. The thought is both intimidating and thrilling. Takeshi also informs him about the living situation at the dojo, explaining that the training will be intense and he won't have much time for leisure. They'll be staying together at the dojo, sleeping in a shared dormitory and eating meals together. He nods, absorbing all the information. He'll be completely immersed in training and living at the dojo, with little time for anything else. It'll be a challenging and demanding experience, but he's determined to make it through. As they reach the outskirts of the town, Takeshi points to a large building in the distance. "That's the dojo. We'll be living and training here from now on." He looks at the dojo, taking in its imposing facade. It's a large building with a traditional Japanese architectural style, surrounded by a vast training ground. He can already picture himself training there, working hard to control his power. Takeshi nods, seeing his gaze. "Don't let the size of the building intimidate you. You'll get used to it soon enough. And don't worry, you won't be alone. There are other students training there as well. You'll get to meet them later." He nods, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness at the thought of meeting other students. He's not used to being around people, especially not in a training environment. But he also feels a flicker of curiosity - he wonders what kind of people the other students will be, and what their abilities might be. Takeshi sees him lost in thought and laughs lightly. "Don't worry, the other students are nice. They've all been training with me for a long time, and they'll welcome you. You'll get along with them just fine." He nods, feeling a little reassured by Takeshi's words. He's not sure how he'll fit in with the other students, but he's hopeful that he'll be accepted and able to train with them. He's also excited to learn from them, and possibly even make some friends. Takeshi leads him towards the dojo, and they approach the entrance. Takeshi stops and turns to him, looking him straight in the eye. "Before we go in, I should warn you - the other students can be a bit rowdy sometimes. They might be a little surprised to see you at first, since you're new and all. But don't let that intimidate you, okay? Just be confident and be yourself. You'll fit in just fine." He nods, feeling his nerves start to flutter again. He's not used to being the center of attention, and the thought of being introduced to a group of people he doesn't know is a little nerve-wracking. But he also feels a flicker of determination - he won't give up or let his nerves get the best of him. He'll face the other students and show them who he is. Takeshi pats him on the back, sensing his nerves. "Don't worry, you'll be fine. I'll be right there with you."
With that, he opens the doors and leads him into the dojo. The interior of the dojo is even more impressive than the outside. It's a huge open space, with high ceilings and wooden floors. Weapons and training equipment are arranged on the walls and in various corners. The sound of sparring and chatter can be heard in the distance. He takes in the scenery, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. He can hear more distinctly the sounds of sparring and chatter, and he begins to feel a little intimidated by the unfamiliar surroundings. He follows behind Takeshi, feeling a little uneasy and out of place. As they walk further into the room, a group of students notices them and starts to whisper and look at him with curiosity. They seem surprised to see a new person, and they're clearly wondering who he is and why he's here. He can feel their gazes on him, and he can see them whispering and pointing at him. He can't make out what they're saying, but he can feel their curiosity and suspicion. He feels a flicker of self-consciousness, feeling like he's on display for them to admire or judge. Takeshi calls out to the group, and they all turn to him. "Hey, guys! This is our new student. Be nice and make him feel welcome." The group looks at him intently, clearly sizing him up and assessing him. A few of them nod and smile politely, while a few others still look a little suspicious. He swallows nervously, feeling their gazes on him and wondering what they're thinking about him. Takeshi chuckles and puts a hand on his shoulder. "Come on, don't be shy. Introduce yourself." He swallows his nervousness and takes a deep breath. Everyone's eyes are still on him, waiting for him to speak. He steels his nerves, then says firmly, "Hello. My name's... Taro." The group of students look at him for a moment, taking in his words and his appearance. Then, one of them pipes up, "Taro, huh? What kind of ability do you have?" He hesitates for a moment, a little reluctant to reveal his power. But he knows that they will find out sooner or later, and he doesn't want to keep anything from them. He clenches his hands into fists and says, "I.... I have an ability surge and spectrum attribute The group murmurs with interest, clearly surprised by the revelation. One of them speaks up again, "You are Spectrum? That's impressive. How strong is your Surge?"
He feels a little flattered by their interest, but he also feels a little bit uneasy. He's not sure how strong his Surge is compared to others, and he doesn't want to boast or overestimate himself. He scratches the back of his head and says, "I... I don't know. I've only just discovered my ability. I'm still learning to control it." The group nods in understanding, and a few of them smile sympathetically. One of them pipes up, "Don't worry, we all have to start somewhere. We'll be training together, so we'll probably see how strong you are soon enough." He nods, feeling a little reassured by their words. He's still a little nervous, but he can see that they're not necessarily hostile towards him. He can also feel Takeshi's hand still on his shoulder, giving him a little nudge of encouragement. One of the students speaks up again, a little more confidently this time. "You know, it's not every day that a Spectrum user shows up at the dojo. You must be pretty special."
He feels a little flattery at their words, but also a little self-conscious. He doesn't consider himself special, he's just a regular guy who happens to have this power. He shrugs awkwardly and says, "I... I don't know about that. I'm just here to learn and get stronger, like everyone else." The student who spoke up grins, "That's good to hear. We like it when newbies are humble and not too cocky."
Another student pipes up, "Yeah, but we also like it when they're strong. So don't hold back during trainings, okay?" He nods, feeling a little more relaxed now. The group seems to be warming up to him, and they're even starting to joke around with him and tease him a little. He can even see a few of them grinning at him with a challenge in their eyes. Takeshi steps in, sensing that it's time to get down to business. "Okay, okay, that's enough chatter. Let's show Taro where his room is, and then we can begin training."
The students nod and start to move, showing him the way to his dormitory. He follows them, feeling a little overwhelmed but also excited. He can't believe that he's actually here, that he's actually going to be living and training in this dojo with these people. The dormitory is a simple room, with a few bunk beds and some storage space. He's assigned a bottom bunk with a locker next to it for his belongings. He takes a look around and feels a little nostalgic, reminded of the room he had back at the orphanage.
One of the students, a tall girl with short black hair, nudges him and points to a locker. "You can put your stuff in there. And make sure you keep it organized, okay? We don't want your crap spread out everywhere."
He nods, feeling a little intimidated by the girl's stern tone. He hasn't said anything to her yet, and he doesn't want to get on the wrong side of her. He quickly starts unpacking his meager belongings, placing them neatly in the locker as he's been instructed. Another student, a muscular guy with spiky blond hair, walks over to him and pats him on the back. "Don't mind her, she's just like that. She's actually pretty nice once you get to know her." He smiles awkwardly, feeling a little relieved. He's not used to this kind of atmosphere, where people are so open and direct with their words. But he also finds it refreshing, and he can tell that everyone here is used to living and training together, like a family. The students continue to show him around, pointing out the showers, the toilets, and the recreation room. They also explain the daily schedule to him, when breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served, and what time training will start each day. He nods along, taking it all in and trying to remember everything. The tour ends in the training hall, a large room with mats and various training equipment. Takeshi is standing in the middle of the room, waiting for them to finish the tour. He smiles and motions to him. "Alright, now that you know the layout of the place, you're ready for your first training session." His heart skips a beat as Takeshi's words sink in. He's going to have his first training session in this dojo, with the other students staring at him and probably judging him. He swallows nervously, feeling his nerves starting to flutter again. Takeshi notices his nerves and gives him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, just do your best and don't feel pressured. Everyone's been in your shoes before, and we all know how it feels to be new here. Just focus on your training and ignore the others." He nods, feeling grateful for Takeshi's words. He tries to push his nerves aside and focus on the task at hand. He follows Takeshi to the middle of the room, where he can feel the other students watching him intently. Takeshi positions him in front of a punching bag and says, "Okay, for now, let's just see how you throw a punch. Show me what you've got." The punch connects with a dull thumping sound, and the punching bag jolts slightly but doesn't move much. The other students watch with interest, their gazes fixed on him. Takeshi is watching him carefully as well, taking in his form and technique. He takes another deep breath, feeling a little embarrassed by the lack of impact he made with his punch. He tries again, putting more force into the blow and trying to concentrate his power. The second punch lands harder than the first, and the punching bag jerks more forcefully this time.
