Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Father and Son Together

In the interrogation room, Kisaragi propped his legs up on the table, leaned back in his chair, and regarded Uchiha Fugaku with a light gaze.

"Viciously attacking a ninja from the same village, Uchiha Fugaku. I suspect you want to be a traitor."

"Uchiha Kisaragi, if you have the guts, kill me. But if you're going to do it, at least have the decency to put my word first."

Uchiha Fugaku, with a blue nose and a swollen face, roared at Kisaragi with a ferocious expression.

"Kisaragi-san, I think it's better to kill him directly."

"After all, he was the one who attacked you first. Even if you kill him, Third Hokage will have nothing to say."

Uchiha Jin face showed killing intent; he really wanted to kill Uchiha Fugaku. As long as the Third Hokage doesn't intervene, he had no fear. As for the current patriarch, a man on the brink of death, he was not afraid of him.

Kisaragi stood up and walked in front of Uchiha Fugaku, patting him on the head with a paternal gesture, as if addressing a junior.

"Fugaku, you are still too unstable. Keep this anger and enjoy the treatment you're about to receive."

Kisaragi then waved to Uchiha Jin.

"I don't care how you get him to sign the confession."

"Understood, Kisaragi-san."

Uchiha Jin gave Uchiha Fugaku a cruel smile. Torturing people was his forte, and he was sure Uchiha Fugaku would be quite 'happy' by the time he was done. However, he was somewhat disappointed that Kisaragi hadn't chosen to kill Fugaku. If Fugaku died, Kisaragi would have no obstacles left in his path to becoming patriarch.

As soon as he left the interrogation room, Kisaragi encountered the current patriarch of the Uchiha family, Uchiha Fugaku's father.

"Why is the patriarch visiting the Police?"

"Uchiha Kisaragi, where is my son?"

The patriarch, Uchiha Nagisa, questioned Kisaragi.

"You should ask Uchiha Fugaku himself. He is imprisoned for assaulting a fellow ninja."

Facing the patriarch, Kisaragi showed no respect. After all, this old man had suppressed him a lot for his son's success as patriarch.

"Nonsense. Release him at once. The captain of the guard was arrested by his own team. If this gets out, our entire Uchiha Clan will become a laughingstock. Do you want Uchiha to become a joke?"

Kisaragi looked at Uchiha Nagisa calmly.

"And if I refuse to release him?"

"I'm the patriarch of the Uchiha clan. Are you going to ignore my authority?"

A cold light flashed in Uchiha Nagisa's eyes as he released a powerful aura, approaching that of a Quas-Kage-level ninja. As the patriarch of the Uchiha family, he was certainly not weak. However, due to severe injuries sustained in the Second Shinobi World War, his current strength was no match for even an Elite Jōnin.

Despite the oppressive aura from Uchiha Nagisa, Kisaragi remained unmoved. Even in his prime, Uchiha Nagisa would not have been a threat to him.

"Uchiha Fugaku attacked a ninja from the same village. His actions are tantamount to betrayal. Patriarch, you want me to cover up this betrayal? Is that what you're asking?"

Kisaragi signaled, and Uchiha Shin and his team immediately moved forward.

"Arrest the patriarch. Today, in the name of justice, this captain will deal with traitors and their accomplices."

With a warm smile, Kisaragi gestured, and Uchiha Shin's team prepared to act. They aimed to arrest both father and son together. Their father-son duo had caused him enough trouble over the years, and if he didn't retaliate, it would be a disservice to the system name he had been given.

"You dare? Cough... Uchiha Kisaragi, do you want to rebel against me?"

Furious, Uchiha Nagisa coughed violently, his condition deteriorating.

"Rebel? It's not me who wants to rebel. It's clearly your son who wants to be a traitor, and you're trying to cover up this betrayal. You're the real rebel here." Kisaragi responded calmly.

At Kisaragi's command, Uchiha Shin and his team moved in, and one of them, wielding a ninja sword, made a ruthless attack toward Uchiha Nagisa's waist. If the attack had landed, it would have meant death for the seriously injured Uchiha Nagisa.

Despite the danger, Uchiha Nagisa, being a quasi-Kage-level powerhouse, managed to react to Uchiha Shin's attack, blocking it. When Uchiha Nagisa's followers attempted to intervene, Kisaragi activated his Three Tomoe Sharingan and glanced at them.

"Move, and you'll regret it."

His mere gaze frightened them into immobility. KIsaragi's reputation and the fearsome power of the Sharingan were enough to keep them at bay.

Uchiha Nagisa, an old man with declining strength, had brought only a few Chūnin who were not up to the task of dealing with the current situation. The powerful figures he might have relied on were out on missions and not present in Konoha Village.

"This old man is quite strong."

Kisaragi assessed Uchiha NAgisa, noting that his taijutsu and ninjutsu skills were on par with Uchiha Shin. Thus, Uchiha Shin might not be able to handle him alone.

Seizing an opportunity, Kisaragi swiftly threw several shuriken at Uchiha Nagisa, targeting his heart, throat, and limbs. The precision of the Uchiha family's shuriken technique, coupled with the insight provided by the Sharingan, ensured a high hit rate.

Uchiha Nagisa managed to block three shuriken with kunai, avoiding two, but was ultimately struck in the right hand by one of the shuriken.

"Despicable."

Uchiha Nagisa glared at Kisaragi, recognizing the attack as a deliberate attempt to exploit his weakness.

"Despicable? Isn't sneak attacking a ninja part of the ninja's skill set? Not everyone can charge into a crowd like Uchiha Madara," Kisaragi retorted.

Using the Body Flicker Technique, he drew Ryūjin Jakka and slashed it down. Although Ryūjin Jakka lacked swordsmanship or Shikai, its inherent sharpness surpassed that of any Kusanagi sword in this world.

The blade cut deeply, leaving a wound on Uchiha Nagisa's chest. With this injury, Uchiha Nagisa was unable to use ninjutsu, as performing seals with one hand was difficult. In close quarters, he stood no chance against Kisaragi, especially with Uchiha Shin also attacking.

Severely injured and defeated, Uchiha Nagisa fell to the ground. When Uchiha Shin was about to deliver a fatal blow, Kisaragi intervened.

"Stop. There's no need to kill him. He won't live long, especially with this injury."

Kisaragi smiled, deciding to arrest Uchiha Nagisa instead of killing him outright. His dying days would be enough to count as a loss for Kisaragi.

"Arrest the patriarch. Make sure he understands the consequences of his actions."

Kisaragi commanded his subordinates with a smile. Uchiha Nagisa, battered and bloodied, understood that Kisaragi had deliberately sought a reason to confront him. He spat out a mouthful of blood, realizing the depth of Kisaragi's malice.

"Is it really not considered evil to arrest someone when they're dying?" Kisaragi mused, a bit disappointed that he hadn't gained the evil value he expected.
