As the door opens, we hear someone walk in. We turn around and look at the Person in Shock.
It's the Prime Minister. Or at least who was the Prime Minister until now. Since I have the feeling that this will be the last Time I'll see him.
"Tsk Tsk. What are you doing here, your Highness? It doesn't bode well to poke your nose into other people's business." Is it just me, or doesn't he even try to hide is true Personality anymore? And why so quickly. I glance at Heira. Just because of her?
I walk up to him. "My, I wonder what business you mean? We both were just trying to look for our dear Friend. And... Oh NO! As we finally found her she seemed to already be in this state." I sigh in 'relief'. "We're just so happy that she's still alive! Oh, what would we have done if she would've died?" My voice is clearly pretentious and has a passive-aggressive tone.
The Prime Minister stares at me, clearly annoyed. He clicks his tongue.
"And here I thought I could be nice to you, your Highness." He glances over to Victoria.
"But it seems like, that someone else has intervened in my Plans." He smirks. "Oh, but believe me she won't be any Problem to you anymore, your Highness. I can assure you that if you just follow my lead, she will be gone soon. That's what you want too, isn't it?"
Victoria looks at me, worried and a bit scared.
I shake my Head and smirk. "Heh, I wonder where you got that Information from? It doesn't really seem like you should know anything about my Victoria."
He gulps. Victoria looks at me, she is blushing. It seems like she didn't expect that. Neither did I. I notice too late what I said and can't 'correct' myself anymore.
"W-well, I think you are right. I- I must have mistaken her for another Person. L-like that T-Traitor lying on the Bed over there." He still tries to save the Situation somehow.
I smirk once more and let out a sigh while slightly putting my Hand on my Forehead.
"You can't really think that I would believe you so easily. It almost seems like you want to save yourself from a Situation you, yourself, have created. Tell me..." I walk closer to him, standing only a meter away from him. "Have you ever thought how it is to die a horrible death?" I grasp his Throat with my Hand.
He struggles for Air. "Please... forgive me... What... have... I... even done?"
I smirk. "What you have done? You tried to kill her, right? You also manipulated my Memory and my Behavior all this Time, right? Isn't it so?" I giggle.
"N-no... what could... make you... believe that... I... don't... even... know what--- NGH!" I press my Hand harder on his Throat. I didn't think he would fall this easily for my Trap. Of course I know that he couldn't have done this alone. And even if he did, it would be hard to believe. I just want a basis to kill him and thus announce the beginning of my Purges. But... I also want to set an exemple and also want to make the other nobles and aristocrats think that everything got solved. Who knows who really is behind all this. If that Person is even from here.
"Any last words, Former Prime Minister?" I smirk.
"P-please... don't" Crack I snapped his Neck in Half. As I let my Hand go from his Throat, he falls to the Ground, lifeless. Instinctively I begin to giggle, almost laughing. I almost seem to have enjoyed doing this, to kill him and torture him. But even if it is so, it doesn't matter to me. It all fits well into my Plan.
"Well done, Lyara." Victoria sneaks up to me and hugs me from behind. "This marks the beginning of the great Purge, right?" She looks up to me, looking directly at my Face. Smiling and talking in a Voice that almost sounds manipulative. As I look into her Eyes... they seem... rather empty. But for some reason I feel like she is right. For some reason I feel like that she is still the same Person. And, as if someone wants to prove me right, Victoria immediately jumps back to her cheerful self.
"Haha! I think you were great Lyara! You should act like this more often." She smiles, this time it seems genuine.
"Thank you. But... I'm not sure if I can keep up this act so often..."
"Of course you can! I mean, I believe in you! Just as you believe in me!"
I nod. "Right. You are Right." I pat her Head. She seems to enjoy it.
"I like it when you pat my Head. Can you do this more often?" She leans her Head onto my upper Body. She looks really soothed,
"Of course I can." I smile. I haven't smiled in so long...
We both begin to giggle.
"Now... what do we do about... that?" Victoria points at the dead Body of the Prime Minister.
"Well... I don't really know..."
Suddenly Victorias eyes begin to sparkle. "What about we decapitate him and hang his Head outside the Castle Walls! That way everyone can see that he was a Traitor. And that he deserved it. Especially after trying to hurt you!" Victoria looks at me as if awaiting approval from me.
But what she rather gets, is an expression of shock. I never expected such Words coming out of her Mouth. Was she always like this?
"What's wrong? Did I say something wrong?"
Reluctantly I shake my Head. "No, you didn't. But... I think this wouldn't fit well with the Image I'm trying to build. You know... I don't want to be seen as a Tyrant."
Victoria seems to understand me, fortunately.
"Yeah... you're right." But she still looks a bit disappointed.
"Don't worry. There are still many other Things you can assist me with. Maybe I will accept those things!" I smile and pat her Head.
"Really? But how?" Victoria looks at me like a Child would to her Mother.
"Well... don't you want to become the next Prime Minister?" I smile.
"Wait... what?!?" Victoria looks utterly happy but also shocked. She can't seem to believe it.
She jumps up and down in happiness. "I can really be the Prime Minister? Really?"
I nod. "Yeah, you can. And I believe that you will do the right things with this position." I smile once more.
Victoria then hugs me, looks up to me and smiles. "Thank you! Thank you so much!
I love you!"
