Only a few days later, we began our Second Expedition. We visited many tribes, most of them being Friendly towards us. Yet, some of them have been vary enough to spark our attention and speed up our progress in developing this new transportation system. We plan to construct a railway, powered with a primitive steam engine. It's not much, but the Blueprints on my Phone are helping with the development.
But now, we have encountered a Problem the last few Tribes, at the outskirts of this Continent, have formed an alliance against us. They are more hostile and want to stay isolated. We can't have that, we need to convince them and fast.
But still, we don't know how long it's going to take to develop the first real prototype.
"I guess we just need to show them in some other way..." I mumble to myself. But someone listens in, a Female General, one of my Companions who I grew very fond of these past few days. Her name is Elyria. "What about that Fon you have there?" She asks.
"Phone, it's pronounced Phone." I smile, answering her. "I guess, we can use that, but would they really believe what we are showing them, what if they destroy my Phone, then we can forget ever bringing this Society forward." I sigh, not knowing what to do.
But Elyria just smiles back at me, seeming confident and determined. "I'm sure that they will listen to you, I mean, I didn't trust you at first too, since the previous king was... well... not so good." She coughs, seemingly not wanting to sound rude. "Anyways, I really think that they would believe you, like I did. That thing you have there, this Fon. Is definitely something otherworldly." She smirks. "And if they don't..." She holds her hand against her Sword.
I giggle and respond "Sure, I don't want war, but if it comes to it, I'm not someone to shy away. If they want war, then they can get war." I glare, my Expression getting darker "And if they so want, I can annihilate them..."
"Ahem!" Elyria clears her throat. seemingly not wanting me to think about it.
I giggle "You're right, let's not think about it and just try."
Elyria nods in response.
A few hours later, we finally arrive at the Main Village of the Tribal Alliance. Luckily they don't attack immediately, instead welcoming us. I enter the House of the Leader.
Telling him the same things, I always did. Saying, how I want to unite the continent and so on.
But he doesn't seem surprised, he talks about how important it is to keep ones sovereignty and independence. And how isolation would be best.
I have no other choice but to convince him this way. I pull out my Phone and show him.
"This is a Phone, it is an otherworldly Object." I show him the Pictures of the Steam Engine and Railway we're planning. "And this is the Future. The Future we are trying to reach. And for that we need a united continent. Because if we reach that future, united as one nation, we can reach unprecedented heights and a never before seen living standard."
I look at him, being hopeful. But instead he just glares at me, or so I think.
"Well, that does seem convincing." He shrugs and then smiles at me, reaching out his hand toward me. "Now, let us shake hands, towards a new and united continent in peace!"
Surprised, but happy that he accepted, I shake his Hand.
Later this Evening, we have a Party at the Village, celebrating the Unity of the continent. We all drink and eat and have fun. Then, the Leader comes out, with a bottle in his hand.
"This is our most special and our oldest wine. We will serve it today to all our guests. To celebrate the newfound Unity!" Everyone cheers. The Leader fills every glass of our Expedition with the Fluid inside the Bottle.
We then all cheer and drink fro--
"Huh? Where am I?" I mumble to myself, my head throbbing. I look around, darkness. I use Magic to see better in the Darkness. A skill I acquired when I became the new Queen.
As I look around for a second time, I can see a lot of our Soldiers hanging from the Ceiling. A few others are laying on the Ground. But one Person is missing, Elyria.
I grab my Pho-- "it's gone!" In a fit of panic I try to search all over my Body, but I come to a realization. Not only am I wearing some sort of Clothing for Prisoners. But since Elyria is nowhere to be found, it makes her the main culprit. But she wouldn't do something like this, right?
Not knowing what to do, I decide to walk out of the Room and search for an exit.
