Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 - Academy

The School is huge. Really huge. It's at least three palaces big, but connected as one Building. The Entrance is a large open Area with a Big Fountain in the Middle. The Area is pathed out and surrounded by Grass, Flowers and Bushes. On the Sides of the Paved Area, are many benches. Some Students, way older than me, are sitting on it talking. That is, until I arrive.

We land on the Ground and Heira looks at me.

"Okay, this is it. Good luck on your First Day, I will come back this afternoon. And remember be friendly to everyone here." She smiles and pats my shoulders.

Before she flies away, I stop her. "Wait! What about your Story?"

She smiles. "Don't worry, I will tell you this Afternoon, but as a Hint, I am the same."

I don't really understood what she meant, but I smiled anyways and waved her off.

I then turned around and faced the Academy. It's even larger on Foot. I can't even see the Left and Right Ends of the Academy Building.

As I walk, a bit shyly, towards the Fountain, I see a lot of People staring at me. I know that this is a school where you will stay until you're at least 18. So a lot of older People are here too, but even they stare at me.

They all wear different Uniforms, but they are still similar. Seems like every Grade has another Color on their Necktie. But... aren't their Uniforms gray? Mine is Black, isn't it? I look down and confirm it once more, my Uniform is black. Did Heira order the wrong Uniform?

No wonder everyone is staring at me. I will get that fixed by tomorrow!

I walk towards the fountain until I reach it. It's huge, but looks simple.

I smell the Water, it smells like rain. I love that Smell, even in this World.

Another Person is walking towards me. It's a Girl who seems to be in my Grade.

She has the same Uniform on as me.

As she sees me looking at her, she quickly examines my Uniform and then begins to smile.

"Good Day to you. Are you a new Student too?" She walks towards me, rather elegantly.

Seems like she is from a rich family.

"Ah yes. Greetings. What is your Name?" It seems like I completely forgot how to converse with strangers...

She giggles. "My name is Victoria von Dimas. I'm the first Daughter of the Duke of Dimas. Nice to meet you, what is your name?"

That is why she is so elegant. Well, seems like I need to improve myself a lot too.

I giggle. "Oh, nice to meet you too. My name is Lyara. Lyara von Astora."

Her eyes are open wide. She gasps in surprise and then quickly bows her Head.

"I'm sorry for being so informal with you, your Majesty."

Oh no, not another one... First it was Heira, three years ago, now it is her...

"Oh, it's alright. You can lift up your Head." I giggle.

She looks at me and my Uniform again. "How couldn't I notice the Gem you have engraved on your Uniform. It's the sign of the Royal Family! Again, I'm really sorry!"

I sigh and pat her Shoulders. "It's alright, really. You don't need to treat me like royalty. Just treat me normally." I smile.

She looks up to me. "Really? Is that alright?"

I nod. "Yeah. How about we become Friends?" I reach out my Hand to her.

She has a few tears of Joy in her Eyes. "Sure!" She is smiling.

We both then proceed to go to the Classroom.

We talk while walking.

"But, it's weird... I haven't seen you at any Events or Parties... I've only ever seen the King."

"Well, should I arrive at any Parties at my Age?"

"Normally not, but you are the Princess. It's, like, obligatory, you know?" She giggles.

I giggle too. "Well, guess I wasn't really well acquainted with the royal life."

A bit later, right before we enter the Classroom.

"Hey, um, I almost forgot and I guess you know that already, so you are probably prepared, but... just in case." She gives me a cookie.

"It's for good luck, my Mom backed them for my first Day at School."

"Thanks!" I gladly take the Cookie, but I still ask my self what she meant with that? Why do I need good luck?

We enter the Classroom.

Victoria goes over to her Seat, I want to follow her but she quickly shakes her head and makes a gesture for me to stay there. But why, though?

The Teacher looks at me and sees the Gem on my Uniform.

"Your Majesty." He bows before me, suddenly the whole Class begins to bow, even Victoria who has a slight smirk on her face as she notices that I came entirely unprepared.

How do these Kids know more than me. Isn't she too smart for a six year old Child anyways?

"You can lift your heads." I say in an almost cold on monotone Voice.

As I walk to my Seat, the Teacher stops me. And whispers to me. "Your Speech, your Majesty." My Speech? Where are we? In an Oral Exam for Politics?

I sigh and walk back, the Teacher goes away from the Podium and sits on a stool next to it.

I grip the Podium and start to Speak.

"My dear Class, I am blessed by the Gods to be here today and to be able to study in this Academy. Always remember to study diligently, even if it is your first Day here. I don't want it to become your last. Try to behave yourselves. And if you have any Problems, you can always come to me. I will try to answer them." What am I even saying. Help them? How? "I am very excited for our future and for the future of this Academy. I pray that all of you, including me, will gain a perfect certificate at the End of this School life. I also pray that the Teachers who are teaching here, will have no Problems with teaching you. I pray for your safety." I know, that I've sworn when I get reincarnated, I will believe in God and will spread his Word... but... do I really need to do it this way? How am I even talking right now. "Now, I wish you all a great start and, on a personal note, I really hope you will treat me as one of your own. As one of your Friends. Please treat me like I'm a normal Person. I will allow you to. Of course I will probably be stronger than you, but that doesn't mean that you need to treat me so highly." I smile "With that, I conclude my Speech!"

Everyone is clapping, but it seems like only Victoria really understood what I said.

"Thank you for your wonderful speech, your Majes-" I give him a quick glance. "I mean, Lyara. Now then, your seat is over there, next to Victoria."

As I finally walk over to my Seat, I notice that not everyone here wears a Black Uniform.

I sit down.

"That speech sounded way too complicated for a Child... how would anyone here accept me and the Teacher understand it?"

"What do you mean? I talked normally. And even if it's too complicated, how could you understand it then?"

"Me? Well... I won't tell you!" She grins at me.

I sigh. "Well, another question. Why do some of us wear Black Uniforms?"

She giggles. "Well, because those People are Nobles, like us two."

"OH!" I am so loud that the Teacher notices me and throws a quick glance over, everyone else is looking at me too."

Victoria giggles. "Well, seems like you really didn't have any contact, did you?"

Wait, how does she know?

"How di-" Before I can say anything, the Teacher walks over to me and gives my Head a slight clap with his Hand.

"I want to start the Lesson, so be quiet please."

I sigh and face the Chalkboard.

My first Lesson is starting.
