We then went through the Forest, my Maid carrying me since I'm still too young to walk as fast as her. Sometimes we encounter a few Wild Animals that we can hunt for Food and Blood, but else there is nothing. Once Night arrives, we set up Camp and eat something. While we eat I realize that if we go on in this Pace, it will take more than 3 Months to reach the Port City. We need to do something.
"We way too slow. Need do things!" I say, in the best possible way.
She seems to understand as she replies. "Yes, I know. But we need to go on like this for now. At least until we get to the Capital City Surahios. Luckily they put it near the Border to the Forest, so it should take us only One and a half week to got there. And since we have enough Blood, we can go there with ease. And the taste of the Meat, albeit actually useless in a Physical sense, it's rather useful for Morality, so that we actually can taste something different than only Blood."
Suddenly an Idea pops into my Mind. "So, we eat Human Food to be like Human?"
She nods. "Yes, we need to get many different tastes and also need to ingrain it into our Brains, so that we automatically prefer it. Also, it's better to know which Human dishes exist." "Like Milk?" I ask her.
"Yes, like Milk!" She laughs.
As we finish our Food, we go to sleep until the next Morning. It's still a bit hard to get accommodated to the new Sleeping Cycle, but it shouldn't be a Problem.
A Week later we finally get out of the Forest. And as I see the first Light that is way brighter than before, a large open Plain fills my View. I see many Fields, occasionally accompanied by a Village. As we walk out of the Forest Entrance, I start to feel a bit weird, like my Skin is itching, it even hurts a bit. I look at my Maid, she doesn't seem to have any troubles.
"My skin itchy!" I tell her.
She giggles. "That's normal. Us Vampires aren't used to the Sun. I'm different, since I was outside in Daylight a lot, so my Body adjusted." She pauses for a Moment, looking at me. "Oh, and remember, us Vampires can't really use our Powers in Daylight. They are way weaker than at Night. So remember that!"
I look at her and giggle a bit. Of course it must be something like that. We are Vampires after all.
We walk on as I try to endure the itching sensation.
A few Days later, I have fully accommodated to the Sunlight and feel like a Normal Human Being, just with different Teeth.
In the last few Days we've gone through a lot of Villages whose Villagers looked at us weirdly. Probably because they've never seen us before, or actually never seen anyone walking to the Capital City...
But that doesn't matter, we mostly ignored them and we are now at the Capital City. Just before the Gates closed for the Night.
But the Guards wouldn't let us in. They say it's too late already and that the Gate is closing now.
But I don't take a no. I pretend to cry and look sad. I look at the Guards with Puppy Eyes and after some time they cave in. They let us in and then Close the Gate.
We arrive at an Inn and eat there for Dinner. We then go upstairs and go to Sleep.
Suddenly thoughts are racing through my Mind. Thoughts that I didn't have in the last few Days. How are we gonna arrive at the Port City? And if we go to the new Continent, are they gonna accept us? If not, then what should we do? Should we save our City? Should we pretend to be Humans forever? As I think of such Things, I slowly drift away to sleep.
The next Day I wake up. My Maid is nowhere to be seen, but she left a Note. I open it and wonder why she wrote me a Letter. I can't even read yet. But at least I can finally know her Name. I look down and see her Name. Somehow I can read it. It seems to be written in a different language, in a language I-
Wait a Minute!!! The whole Text is written in the Language of my Home Country on Earth. That's why it seemed so different. This is also the reason she left me a Letter.
But how? How does she know my Language?
Before I get confused more, I decided to read the Letter.
