"Zach? Why are you suddenly silent? What do I need to know."
"It's nothing. I will tell you when you return."
Hearing the tone of his voice made her realize that whatever he wanted to tell her was related to Mason. She had never met him, and to be honest, she didn't want to meet him either.
The only information she wanted to know about Mason was that he was gone from this world just the way her child left this world.
"Zach?"
"Hmm," Zach responded.
"I'm sorry for asking you to kill someone. I'm sorry for making you cover up my crime and I'm sorry for not being able to protect our baby." Eliana sniffed as she tried her best not to cry.
