Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Origin

This seemed like a fun story to write, look at the bottom for specifics on 'Copy' if you want to. I'm not sure if I'll continue this story as I'm focused on my One Piece fanfiction. It's fun to write, but it takes up most of the time I can spend on writing. This one is fun too but I just don't have a lot of time.

If people like this story I'll figure out a regular release schedule for it but if not, then I'll just keep it as a passion project and update it whenever I write chapters for fun. Well, all of this is for fun but you get what I mean.

I still don't really know what the fuck they are or what they do, but if you like this, gimme power stone. When the number goes up, my brain feels good.

...

2013: Tokyo, Japan. 12:30 PM

A man with white hair and white bandages covering his eyes was walking down the streets of Tokyo with a lollipop in his mouth, a bag of sweets in his hand, and humming happily as he still had 30 minutes on his lunch break.

"Hmm?"

He suddenly stopped walking, stood up straight, and faced the cement wall to his left. He grinned at what he 'saw' as he gripped his chin with a tilted head.

"Well well, what do we have here?"

His grin turned into a massive smile at what he saw. After a few more seconds, he disappeared.

.

.

A young boy with disheveled dark hair and blue eyes was sitting in a messy room with empty cups of ramen and energy bar wrappers.

He had his arms wrapped around his legs while burying his face into his knees.

He was doing his best not to cry, but it was hard when you're only 12 years old and you're forced to separate from your family.

Watching your best friend die right in front of you sucks too.

There's also what that friend turned into… or what was left.

The boy's introspection was cut off when a man with white hair, a dark blue zip-up jacket, matching slim-fit black pants, black dress boots, and white bandages covering his eyes suddenly appeared in front of him.

The man had his hand on his chin, but he took it off and waved at him with a massive smile on his face as he leaned to the side, making the boy blink.

"Yo!" The man said which made the boy blink again. Before either of them could do anything, the ring hanging on a string around the boy's neck glowed a bright pink before they heard a voice that made the boy panic and the man's grin widen.

"DDOOONNNTTT BBULLLYY YUTAAAAA!!!!!!"

A massive white fist appeared out of nowhere and was thrown at the white-haired man, who didn't even flinch. The now-named Yuta sure did though.

"WAIT, RI-!!!"

*BOOM*

Yuta was cut off when the massive fist abruptly stopped just a couple of inches in front of the man.

"It didn't stop, it's just slowed down a bunch." The man explained making the boy think he could read his mind. The man suddenly burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha!! You're hilarious kid!! No, I can't read your mind." The blindfolded man said. Yuta ignored whatever the man said when he realized this guy could probably kill Rika-chan since he stopped her punch.

Slowed it down? Not the time.

"Rika-chan, go back now!!" Yuta shouted in a panic that made the arm stop for a second before it continued to emerge along with the owner of the arm. The man broke out laughing again at what he saw.

"Hahahaha!! How interesting!!" The man said in amusement as he watched the fist that just punched at him was pulled back just as fast.

"GRRRRRRR"

The man looked to the sound of growling to see the owner of the massive white arm and fist behind the boy with its arms covering him protectively.

She was a larger monstrous curse with a large muscular upper body, long arms, and a tail-like shadow that served as her lower body. She had a shell that looked similar to a brain on the top of its head. Extending from her head were several tendrils, and she had long untrimmed fingernails as well as a mouth full of thin sharp teeth.

The man's smile turned dangerous as the curse emerged. He could both see and sense the massive amount of 'Cursed Energy' coming from it. Not only the curse but the boy named 'Yuta' as well.

Meanwhile, Yuta turned to the curse and calmed it down so Rika-chan would go back to the ring and more importantly, not get hurt.

"Rika-chan, please calm down!! I'm alright, I promise!!" Rika flinched at the loud tone of the boy before cowering and crying while apologizing to the boy.

"RRIKAAA SSORRRYYYY DDONNTTT BBEEE MMAAAADDD YUTAAAA!!!"

The man watched as Yuta calmed down the cursed spirit, which was easily 'Special Grade', for a few seconds before the curse disappeared with the only evidence it was there was the 'Residuals' of 'Cursed Energy' left behind and the ring on the boy's neck.

Well, and the fact that every curse within a kilometer went in the exact opposite direction as soon as this 'Rika' came out. That's not to mention how far away they already were.

'This kid's got more 'Cursed Energy' than even me!! I just recently had the idea of raising the next generation of 'Jujutsu Sorcerers' and I find this cursed kid?! It's like hitting the jackpot!!' The white-haired man thought to himself within a fraction of a second.

"Hey, Yuta right?" The man asked getting a nod from Yuta before the kid narrowed his eyes up at the man.

First of all, how was he looking right at him with that blindfold on? Second of all,

"Yeah, I'm Yuta Okkotsu. Who are you? Where did you come from?" Yuta answered before he asked. The man's smile turned amused again at the question.

"You're just now asking?" Yuta avoided eye contact again, making the man laugh.

"Hahahaha!! Well, my name is Satoru Gojo, and I'm what's called a 'Jujustu Sorcerer'. You know what that is?" The now-introduced Satoru asked getting a shake of the head in response.

Satoru nodded at that. Pretty much no one does, but this kid is either going to be executed for what he's got going on or even forced to be a 'Jujutsu Sorcerer' while having an impending execution over your head.

'At least, that's what would've happened if the great, amazing, awesome Satoru Gojo didn't find him first.' Satoru humbly thought to himself.

Satoru could easily see this kid has had a rough start to his life. But even with that, Yuta doesn't want 'Rika', who cares for him even as a curse, to get hurt protecting him.

This shows the kindness in the child's heart.

Satoru reached up and peeled the white bandages covering his eyes off, revealing the sparkling sky-blue 'Six-Eyes' that sent a shiver down Yuta's spine when he looked into them.

The white-haired man saw that and flashed a soft smile to put the kid at ease.

"Well Yuta, I understand that you've been forced to separate from your family because of, um, Rika-chan?" He said as he looked around the messy room.

"GRRRR"

"Just Rika then?"

"MHMMMM"

Satoru just shook his head in disbelief. This is not what he thought he would do on his lunch break today. He looked down at the confused boy with his soft smile again.

"Yuta, if you come with me, I can teach you how to be a 'Jujutsu Sorcerer' so you can control Rika without having to worry about her hurting anyone else. Eventually, you'll be able to set her free." He said in a soft voice.

After all, a curse as strong as Rika has probably been killing non-sorcerers and curses alike just by manifesting. Who knows what has happened when she's actually around people?

Yuta widened his eyes before he looked down, doubtful he could control Rika with how strong she was now or ever set her free. His self-deprecation was cut off by Satoru with a light chop to the head.

"Ow," Yuta lightly glared at the man before he widened his eyes. He got hurt and Rika didn't come out. She normally wouldn't even let others near him.

"She didn't come out because she can tell I don't want to hurt you." The man said. Yuta just held his head while looking up at him, which made Gojo laugh.

"Hahahaha!! Two minutes ago you were curled up in a ball and now you're this mad over that?!" Satoru asked as he pushed down on Yuta's head, making him glare harder.

"GRRRR" Satoru immediately removed his hand from Yuta's head.

"Alright, guess she didn't like that one."

.

.

Everything was normal, it was lunchtime so it was quiet since Satoru went to get his sweets. It was not quiet when he came back.

Satoru appeared in his office just before lunch ended and before Yaga could do or say anything, he felt it.

The most terrifying 'Cursed Energy' he had ever felt except one of those horrible fingers. No, that's wrong too. This is more terrifying.

*BOOM*

The door was kicked in and a man with blonde hair that was pulled back and glasses holding some kind of weapon wrapped up in bandages.

Behind him a man with spiky brown hair with a lollipop stick in his mouth and an unsheathed katana in his hands.

The men immediately charged at Yuta while imbuing their weapons with 'Cursed Energy' which terrified the kid. Not for himself though.

He knew he was never in danger.

"DDOONNNNTTTTT HHUURRRTTTTT YUTAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

*BOOOOOM* *BOOOOOM*

*BOOM* *BOOM*

The two were smacked away by Rika and into the wall of the office.

The three men who hadn't seen Rika before felt their hearts in their throats for a second even with all their experience and strength.

"Rika-chan, I already told you to stop!! I know you wanna protect me but this guy was already doing that!!" The three sweat-dropped as the boy started scolding the easily 'Special Grade' curse.

*SOB* *SOB*

"RRIIKKAAAA SSOORRRYYY YUTAAAAA!!!! DDOONNNTTT BBEEEE MMAADDDD!!!"

They were astonished when the kid's scolding worked and the curse cowered and apologized to the kid. It took a second to process what the kid said.

The three faculty members of 'Jujutsu High' saw Gojo's hand was on the kid's shoulder and that he had pulled the kid into his 'Infinity', ensuring the kid's safety from their attacks even if that curse didn't pop out.

*SLAP*

Yaga slapped his forehead before slipping into his chair and rubbing his temples.

"Satoru, what the hell is going on!"

The man in question ignored him as he watched Rika disappear after Yuta had assured her many times that he had forgiven her. Once she was gone, Satoru looked at Yaga with a huge smile.

"Wasn't that cool?! I'm gonna train this kid to be strong as shit!! Don't tell anyone else about him until we can lift the curse on that 'Rika' girl." The white-haired man said making Yaga sigh in resignation.

"You're just going to do it no matter what I say, so you better make him strong, Satoru. With Suguru gone and Yuki wherever the hell she is, you're the only 'Special Grade' we have." The principal said as he looked at his old student seriously. Gojo just smirked confidently at him as he put his hand on Yuta's shoulder.

"Yuta could already be a 'Special Grade' with the amount of his 'Cursed Energy' alone and how he's got a 'Special Grade' curse basically as a 'Shikigami', even if Rika isn't the greatest at listening yet." The man said proudly. Yuta just looked around in confusion, not understanding what was happening. He was even more confused by all the weird dolls around the room.

*GROAN* *GROAN*

The two men who were smacked into by Rika groaned as they forced themselves to their feet. The man with the blonde hair looked at everyone in the room, saw Gojo handling the cursed boy, and promptly walked toward the open door without saying a thing.

"Nanami!! It's been a while…" Gojo shouted out and waved to the man in greeting, but all his energy was taken away by the man just glancing at Yuta before walking right back to where he came from.

*SIGH*

"He really likes playing hard to get," Gojo said while shaking his head getting a snort from his two coworkers.

The other man had already stood up and sheathed his katana. He walked closer to Yuta and Gojo but stopped a few feet away, just in case.

Yuta looked at the ground when he saw that. Satoru just lightly chopped Yuta's head again while looking at the man with a smile.

"You scared of a 12 year old, Kusakabe?" Gojo asked, getting a scoff in response.

*SCOFF*

"Hell yeah, I'm scared. That thing could eat me before I could blink." The now-named Kusakabe said getting a snort of amusement out of Gojo.

*SNORT*

"Don't be so modest, you are the strongest 'Grade 1' 'Jujutsu Sorcerer' I know. You'd put up a good fight, even against Rika. Though, that does give me an idea." Gojo complimented before he put his hand on his chin in thought, making Kusakabe give a genuine smile before sweat-dropping.

'Is he really going to call me the strongest 'Grade 1', knowing very well how high praise that is coming from him, just so he can ask me a favor? Also, there are a couple of guys in the 'Big Three Families' that I can't say I'd beat for sure.' The swordsman thought to himself in disbelief. His suspicions were confirmed when Gojo broke out in a smile that was a bit too wide while he put his bandages back over his eyes.

"I'm gonna teach Yuta here everything I know about 'Cursed Energy' as well as having him imbue a katana with Rika's curse a little bit at a time to dispel her curse and maybe turn the blade into a 'Cursed Tool'," Gojo said as he put his hand on Yuta's shoulder once his bandages were back on. Kusakabe's eyes widened when he heard that.

'It doesn't sound like much when he says it like that, but the one saying it is someone who has seen the world of 'Jujutsu' through a high-definition camera while everyone else is still on disposable ones. That someone is saying he will teach this kid EVERYTHING he knows. With that 'Rika' curse and the crazy amount of 'Cursed Energy' this kid has, he'll probably be one of, if not the Strongest of the new generation that hasn't even started yet.

Kusakabe let out a long-resigned sigh when he thought of that. He realized that he was probably gonna teach this kid now so he could be lazy and safe when this kid was all grown up.

"You want me to teach the kid how to wield a katana and 'New Shadow Style', right? I can only show him 'New Shadow Style' and not teach him because of the 'Binding Vows' established that forbid teaching Simple Domain to outsiders." The man asked and explained getting a smile from Gojo.

"Don't worry, that'll be enough. I have a bunch of ideas for training the kid, so it's best to set the best foundation possible." Satoru said with a smile as he looked down at the confused boy before looking back up at the swordsman.

"I'll come find you once the kid has the basics in him. Remember, train him well so he can take missions for you in the future~" Gojo teased to which the man just scoffed.

*SCOFF*

"That was my exact thought process when you asked me to do it," Kusakabe said before he looked down at the boy.

"Kid, I know you don't know what's going on, but if you want to help that cursed girl you got following you around, try your best in the training Gojo gives you. He'll introduce you to a couple of other kids your age once you won't scare the hell out of them with that insane 'Cursed Energy'. Kids that won't hate you for your situation, so just do your best." The man said earnestly, surprising Yuta with how much this man he just met wanted to help him.

Yuta gave him a wobbly smile while holding back tears as the reality was finally setting in that he wouldn't be alone anymore, and that he wouldn't have to be afraid of hurting everyone around him anymore.

Kusakabe just sighed at that before turning around and walking out the door, throwing a wave back as he left.

Gojo looked down at the kid who was wiping the tears from his eyes with a smile.

'I guess one more won't hurt. Now I just gotta help him with his 'Cursed Energy' so I can throw him in there with Megumi and Tsumiki to keep it simple.' Satoru thought to himself as he saw Yuta give a small real smile, unlike the one he had just given Kusakabe.

*COUGH* *COUGH*

Yuta and Gojo both turned around to see Yaga still sitting in his chair rubbing his temples. He hadn't looked up once since he sat down.

"Get the hell out of my office."

"Yes sir." "Yes sir."
