(Author: I apologize for the delayed chapters, I had my college exam last week and was busy studying to have a passing grade. I hope you can understand, thank you.)
(Location: Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean — Abandoned Supply Island Base)
(Time: Saturday Early Afternoon in the 1st Week of January 1930)
Captain Accel Winchester, Commander Lizzy Winchester, and a group of assigned soldiers set out to explore the strange energy that was detected beneath the supply island base. They needed to make sure the island was safe to build a new base. Accel led the way, his sharp eyes scanning the overgrown path as they moved deeper into the island.
Captain Accel: "Everyone stays focused, this energy reading could mean trouble. I mean not trouble for myself and Lizzy, but the rest of you guys, so stay on your guard." [His voice was calm and steady]
The team pushed forward, walking through thick bushes and rocky terrain. The old supply buildings on the surface were covered with vines, clearly abandoned for a long time. As they got closer to the entrance of an underground facility, the air around them felt heavier, and the strange energy they were tracking seemed to grow stronger. Accel and Lizzy don't feel the heavy energy, because they have experienced far worse than this, like really worse.
Ensign (ENS) A: "I don't like this feeling..." [His voice was shivering]
Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) B: "I agree, it feels like something is waiting for us down there." [His body stiffens]
Everyone nodded in agreement but didn't say anything. They finally arrived at a large metal door leading underground. The entrance was dusty and worn, with old symbols and markings that none of the soldiers recognized.
Ensign (ENS) B: [Checking the Scanner] "This is where the energy is coming from and it's much stronger down below."
Captain Accel: "Alright, let's move, stay close, and be ready for anything. Skill activation, Sanctified Barrier."
The group slowly entered the underground facility, heading deeper into the unknown. But, with Captain Accel's Sanctified Barrier everyone will be safe from incoming attacks that might happen as they move forward.
(At the same time — Celestial Skyfortress — Command Center)
Meanwhile, back aboard the Celestial Skyfortress, Lieutenant Alexander Grayson, the ship's radarman, was keeping a close watch on the radar and communication systems. As the team explored the island, he suddenly received a coded message from the team that had been sent to the Azur Lane base.
Alexander quickly recognized the coded message format and started to decrypt it. As the message became clear, his eyes widened. The message described the situation at the Azur Lane base and was filled with important information about the factions that existed in this world. More surprisingly, the message revealed something alarming: the situation at the Azur Lane base was chaotic.
Lieutenant Alexander Grayson: [On his mind] "Otherworlders? So we're not the only ones who got pulled into this world."
The message went on to explain that these otherworlders were confusing. Some were helping the factions of this world, while others were causing problems, attacking bases, or siding with enemies like the Sirens. This made it hard to know who could be trusted.
Lieutenant Alexander: "I need to report this to the higher-ups, but it seems they are still at the underground facility, so I'll just tell others about it..."
The information about the chaotic state of the Azur Lane base and the appearance of otherworlders made it clear that the Celestial Skyfortress and its crew had to be careful. They weren't the only ones out of place in this world.
(After that — Abandoned Island Supply Base — Underground Facility)
Back on the island, Captain Accel and his team moved deeper into the underground facility. The farther they went, the darker it got. The strange energy they had detected earlier was growing stronger and stronger, making everyone uneasy. Except for Accel and Lizzy, after all, they are very used to it already.
Ensign (ENS) C: [Checking the Scanner] "The energy levels are spiking, it's getting worse the deeper we go."
They pressed on until they reached a huge iron wall at the end of the corridor. The wall was badly damaged, with large dents and markings all over it. It looked like something had punched the wall repeatedly.
Lieutenant Senior Grade (LTSG) A: "What could have caused this?"
Lieutenant (LT) A: "I don't know, but whatever it was, it's strong."
Accel examined the iron door and noticed that it was no ordinary door, it was a mixture of materials he knew from his world and strange materials that came from the sirens when he defeated the siren last few days ago.
Captain Accel: "Looks like we need to get through here to reach the energy source."
He placed his hand on the wall, feeling its cold surface. With a grunt, he used a bit of his strength to push the heavy iron door open, making a loud screeching sound as it slid aside.
The team entered the room, their flashlights revealing a large, dark space filled with strange machinery. But what caught everyone's attention wasn't the machines—it was the figure lying in the center of the room.
It was a female-like humanoid, her body weaponized. She had a sleek, metallic look, and parts of her body glowed faintly with energy. Her design was similar to the Sirens they had encountered before, but something was different.
Captain Accel: "This is… an Elite Siren..." [His voice was low and serious]
Commander Lizzy: "Elite Siren?" [Confused] "What's that?"
Accel, who had played Azur Lane before in his original world, recognized this type of Siren right away.
Captain Accel: "It's like those sirens that we encounter, but as for this one it's different. Elite Sirens are different. They can think, feel, and act like humans. They have emotions and their thoughts, but there are times that either they act dumb or smart, like "those types"..."
Lizzy and the rest of the team stared at the Siren, not sure what to make of this. The Elite Siren was unconscious, but the energy in the room was coming from her. It was strong, pulsing with life, and coming from something inside her chest.
Captain Accel: [Confused] "Huh? What does an Elite Siren have a wisdom cube inside her?"
Lieutenant (LT) C: "Wisdom Cube? What's that?"
Captain Accel: "I'll explain everything once we get this Siren back to the surface. But for now, we need to take her with us. She might be the key to understanding more about this world—and the Sirens. But, if becomes hostile then we have no choice but to use forceful acts."
Everyone helped carefully carry the unconscious Elite Siren back toward the surface, unsure of what they had just uncovered...
