As I stood there, watching my blood-soaked uniform, I couldn't help but think about how I had been healed. The pain from the Boss's stab wounds had vanished, and I felt a strange energy coursing through my veins. I looked up at the Boss, whose face was twisted in a mixture of surprise and anger.
"What's going on?" I thought to myself. "How did I heal so quickly? Is this some kind of magic?"
The Boss, still seething with rage, raised his hand, and a purple glow began to circle around his palm. "Any last words, brat?" he sneered. "This time, I'm using my full power."
I smiled, trying to provoke him further. "Sure, anytime I'm ready," I said, my voice steady. Besides I even using this as my advantage, Anytime the Boss uses his magic I will try using force to break it.
The Boss's eyes narrowed, and he began to chant the words to activate his full power. But before he could finish, Vorgath interrupted him.
"Wait, Boss," Vorgath said, his voice confident and smooth.
The Boss turned to him, his anger evident. "What is it, Vorgath?" he growled.
Vorgath smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Why not let me take care of the boy, Boss?" he suggested. "You can put your great power to rest for now."
The Boss's expression changed, and he looked at Vorgath with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "What are you implying, Vorgath?" he asked. "That I'm weak?"
Vorgath chuckled, his smile growing wider. "No, Boss, I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying that it would be more... interesting if I were to take care of the boy. Besides, you've already shown him your power. Now it's my turn to show him mine."
The Boss considered Vorgath's words for a moment, then nodded. "Alright, Vorgath. You can take care of the boy. But don't disappoint me."
Vorgath bowed, his smile still plastered on his face. "I won't, Boss. No need to get all worried."
I didn't know what Vorgath was planning, what kind of magic ability he had. I was filled with trepidation as he pulled out the knife he always had from his waist. Vorgath's voice was dripping with malice as he said, "I've been waiting to fight you, kid. You've got talent. You also fight like an expert."
I replied, unsure of what to say, "U-Uh, thanks, I guess so." I tried to sound confident, but my voice was shaking slightly.
Vorgath's smile grew even wider as he said, "Don't have high hopes for yourself. You're not going to win against me." His words sent a chill down my spine, and I couldn't help but wonder what kind of dangerous power he was hiding.
I took a deep breath and tried to sound confident, "R-Right, whatever the cost, I'm not backing down." I was determined to protect the girl and the children, no matter what.
Vorgath chuckled, clearly amused by my response. He activated his magic, saying "Celeritas," and suddenly, a yellow aura covered his entire body. He was still holding the knife as he moved with incredible speed, appearing far behind me in an instant.
Before I could react, I felt a sharp pain in my hand, and I saw that I was bleeding. I didn't scream, but I was surprised by the sudden attack. "I didn't see him coming," I thought to myself. "What kind of magic is this?"
Vorgath's voice came from behind me, "Why, caught you off guard. I wanted to save this for later, but now I think this is the perfect time." I turned to face him, and he turned to face me, a smug expression on his face.
I tried to act like I wasn't prepared for that attack, "That was a first time seeing you use this, so the next attack, I will be prepared." Vorgath replied, amused by my answer, "That's more like it. This is why I'm using this against you."
I steadied myself, ready for the second attack. Vorgath's eyes gleamed with excitement as he said "Celeritas," activating his magic. I thought to myself, "I have to find his limits, if he has one. This could be a great opportunity to test his abilities and find a weakness."
But before I could even react, Vorgath had already moved behind me, his speed leaving me in the dust. I felt a searing pain as he cut my back, and my uniform tore, revealing the wound. I knelt down, my knees hitting the floor, and my hands touching the ground. The cut was excruciating, and I gritted my teeth to bear the pain.
Vorgath stood over me, a look of amusement on his face. "Are you sure you're up for this?" he asked, his voice dripping with condescension.
I couldn't let him see me in pain, so I replied, "Yes, don't go easy. Try fighting me with your best." I said those words because I thought that if he used too much of his magic ability, he might get weak, and I could use that chance to win.
Vorgath laughed at me, his voice cold and menacing. "Hahahaha, your words, not mine. I will gladly do so." He said once more, "Celeritas," and struck me again, cutting my back while I was still on my knees in pain.
I felt a surge of anger and determination. I couldn't let him defeat me like this. I replied, tempting him, "Is that all? Show me what you're made of, you weakling." I was slowly sharpening my defenses, waiting for the perfect moment to strike back.
Vorgath's eyes narrowed, and he sneered at me. "You think you can take my best? You're just a foolish little boy. I'll show you what real power looks like."
After saying his words, The Boss was very happy and amused by what Vorgath had done to me. The Boss thought evilly, "Keep up the good work, Vorgath, or else you will get punished." Vorgath spun the knife across his fingers like a pro and said the word to activate his magic ability, "Celeritas." The yellow aura covered his entire body again, and he seemed to be radiating an aura of confidence.
Vorgath then said, shouting at me, "I'm not holding back, I'm going to use full power, even if that means you're going to die for real this time." I wasn't sure if I would die this time, but I was sure that Vorgath had a weakness. I thought to myself, "I just need to find it and exploit it."
Vorgath then went speed-cutting my shoulder, and my uniform tore. I didn't see him coming, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of pain. Vorgath, far in front of me, activated his magic without waiting and said, "Celeritas." He went far behind me and cut my other shoulder. He again did not wait and said, "Celeritas." He went in front of me, and I could see the determination in his eyes.
He again said, "Celeritas," and cut my back. He did this five times already, and I was starting to feel the effects of his relentless attacks. I was still on my knees, and I could barely move. But when I looked at Vorgath's face, I saw that he was getting tired, and I knew that my plan was going according to plan.
Meanwhile, the girl was unconscious due to the hard beating she received from The Boss, while the rest of the children were watching me in pain. Vorgath was breathing heavily and getting tired, and I waited to tempt him more. I said, "You disappoint me." Vorgath replied, unprepared for my answer, and he was still breathing heavily, "Huh."
I continued, wanting to tempt him even more, "You can't even defeat a kid, and you're getting tired." I sighed, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
Vorgath, still breathing heavily, said, trying to remain his stamina, "Haaa, I-I'm not done with you, little brat." He activated his magic, "Celeritas," and went with speed as I decided to watch him. His attack was very fast, and he cut the side of my neck.
Vorgath was now behind me, but almost fell down due to his low stamina. As he attacked me earlier, I could see him a little, and I thought, "I got it now. The more he gets tired, the slower he becomes." I realized that his speed was directly related to his stamina, and if I could wear him down, I might have a chance to counterattack.
The Boss, disappointed in Vorgath getting tired, shouted at him, "Hey Vorgath, hurry up! You're getting tired yourself. Kill him before you get really tired!" I could sense the Boss's frustration and urgency, but I knew I had to stay focused on Vorgath.
I then stood up, struggling because my knee was on the ground for so long, and I was being cut. I stood up and turned to face Vorgath, doing some stretching with both my arms and legs. I said, "Now I'm ready to take you down."
Vorgath got smiled, his intentions truly evil as he was trying to use my words as his advantage, and he said, "You fool, don't act like you were planning something." He still breathed heavily, and his eyes narrowed in anger he knew I was planning something but acted like he didn't know at al, he decided to play dumb, Vorgath shouted, "Celeritas," and went with the knife, wanting to cut me. He went with speed, but before he could pass through me, I held his hand where he held the knife and rose it up.
The Boss was surprised and thought, "I-Impossible. Just who the hell is this kid?" He couldn't believe that I was able to counter Vorgath's attack, and his eyes widened in shock.
I said, truly to Vorgath, telling him my plan, "To be honest with you, I was planning something, and that is to get you tired. I knew that if I could wear you down, I might have a chance to counterattack." Vorgath's face turned red with anger, and he used his other hand to punch me, but I quickly held his hand and head-butted him.
Vorgath stumbled backward, holding his head in pain, and I took advantage of the opportunity to attack. I said, "You see, Vorgath, your speed is impressive, but it's not invincible. And now that you're tired, I'm going to take you down."
The Boss shouted, "No, Vorgath! Get back up! You can't lose to this kid!" But Vorgath was too tired, and he couldn't muster the strength to get back up.
I stood over Vorgath, my chest heaving with exhaustion.
As I pushed Vorgath to the floor, he gazed up at me with a mixture of amusement and surprise. "I wasn't expecting this kid to just beat me," he said, his voice laced with a hint of admiration.
Vorgath's eyes seemed to glaze over for a moment, as if he was reflecting on his own actions. "I need to calm down," he thought to himself. "My emotions led to this downfall. I need to remain calm, like I usually do."
But his calm demeanor was just a facade. As I stepped on his face, Vorgath's smile grew wider. "Impressive kid," he said. "You've got both physical strength and the ability to use others to your advantage."
I sneered, my foot pressing down harder on his face. "You were just too easy to use. I wasn't even sure my plan would work."
Vorgath's eyes sparkled with malevolence as he thought to himself, "Yes, that's it. Keep on talking, kid. Keep on underestimating me. Then, I'll kick you down."
He looked up at me, his smile growing even wider. "But...," he started to say, his voice trailing off.
I raised an eyebrow, sensing that something was off. "What is it, Vorgath?" I asked, my voice laced with caution.
But before I could react, Vorgath's hand shot out and grabbed my leg. He threw the knife at my face, and I watched in slow motion as it sailed towards me.
Vorgath's eyes gleamed with evil intent as he pushed me down. But I was ready for him. I rolled backwards, avoiding the knife by mere inches.
As I rolled, I thought to myself, "What is Vorgath's plan? He's not just going to give up, is he?"
I quickly sprang to my feet, my eyes locked on Vorgath. "You're not going to take me down that easily," I said, my voice firm.
Vorgath smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "We'll see about that," he said, his voice dripping with confidence.
As Vorgath stood up, the knife that had been thrown at me earlier came falling down, and he caught it with ease. He seemed to be savoring the moment, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and anticipation.
Vorgath decided to let me come to him, rather than taking the initiative to attack. He stood there, his eyes locked on mine, the knife at the ready.
I stood up, my mind racing with thoughts of what had just transpired. "I wasn't expecting this," I said, my voice laced with a mixture of confusion and caution. "Is this a misunderstanding that I got confused? Damn, I'm not letting my guard down again."
We stood there, facing each other, our eyes locked in a fierce stare. The air was electric with tension, and I could feel the weight of the situation bearing down on me.
But before we could engage, a voice boomed from behind me. "Stasis Verbum!"
I felt a strange energy wash over me, and my body froze in place. I was immobilized, unable to move or react.
I realized, to my horror, that it was the Boss's voice. He had used his magic to immobilize me, leaving me defenseless and at Vorgath's mercy.
Vorgath's eyes lit up with excitement as he activated his own magic. "Celeritas!" he exclaimed, his voice dripping with malice.
He moved at incredible speed, the knife flashing in the light as he stabbed me in the stomach. I felt a searing pain, but I couldn't move or react. My blood poured out, staining the knife and Vorgath's hand.
I couldn't help but think that this was the end for me. The Boss had immobilized me, and Vorgath had taken advantage of the situation to strike the final blow.
But even as I lay there, unable to move or escape, I decided to remain calm. I took a deep breath, and let out a heavy sigh.
As I lay there, unable to move, the cold steel of the knife lodged in my chest, I couldn't help but think about my situation. The Boss, a man with a twisted sense of pride, stood over me, a sneer on his face.
"This kid, really pisses me off," he said, his voice dripping with malice.
Vorgath, his right-hand man, chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Yes, you're right, Boss. But even after being stabbed, he still managed to not scream. He's better than the rest of the gang, except for you, Boss, and I, of course."
The Boss nodded, a calculating glint in his eye. "Kid, you've got guts. So why not join our gang? We could use someone with your... spirit."
I coughed, wincing in pain, but I refused to back down. "No, I'm not interested in joining some stupid group that captures children."
The Boss raised an eyebrow, seemingly taken aback by my response. "Really now? Join us, and we won't sell you to other nations. You'll be one of us, and you'll be protected."
I laughed, a bitter taste in my mouth. "You think that's a persuasive argument? You're just trying to manipulate me. I'll never join you."
Vorgath leaned in, his voice taking on a curious tone. "What drives you, kid? What makes you so determined to resist us?"
I thought back to my parents, my mom's fiery spirit and my dad's calm, guiding hand. I remembered the way they had always supported me, encouraged me to be my best self.
"My mom," I said, my voice barely above a whisper as I tried to close my fist but i couldn't because I'm immobilized. "She's always been there for me, even when she's being hot-headed. And my dad... he's the one who pushes me to be the man I am today. They love me, and they've always supported me."
I looked up at the Boss and Vorgath, my eyes burning with determination. "I'm not giving up. No matter what you do to me, I'll never join you. I'll never betray my parents' trust."
The Boss sneered, his face twisting in disgust. "You're just a foolish kid. You don't know what's good for you."
Vorgath, on the other hand, seemed intrigued. "I think we've underestimated this kid, Boss. He's got more spirit than I thought."
The Boss waved his hand dismissively. "It doesn't matter. He's just a pawn in our game. We'll use him, and then we'll discard him."
I smiled, a fierce glint in my eye as I thought "You're wrong. I'm not just a pawn. I'm a player, and I'm going to change the game."
As I spoke, I felt a surge of energy course through my body. I knew that I couldn't give up, not now, not ever. I would fight, no matter what, to protect my parents, to protect myself, and to bring down the Boss and his gang.
As I lay there, helpless and enraged, The Boss's condescending laughter cut through the air like a knife. "Hehehehe," he chuckled, his eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure. He gently slapped my cheeks, his touch sending shivers down my spine.
"Awwww, Mommy and Daddy's little boy, isn't that cute?" he sneered, his voice dripping with malice.
Vorgath, standing beside him, nodded in agreement. "Look at us, kid. We're the ones our parents left behind, abandoned and forgotten. We're struggling to survive, to make ends meet. And you know what? We've found a way to make a profit. We sell children, like you, to the highest bidder."
Their words were like fuel to the fire burning within me. I seethed with anger, my mind racing with thoughts of revenge. "Selling children at a young age to gain money? Why don't you get a real job, like everyone else?" I spat, my voice venomous.
I got pissed off as I decided to use full strength to break this immobilizing spell thing.
The Boss's smile faltered, and he raised his hand, palm facing me. A purple glow began to swirl around his palm, like a miniature tornado. "Stasis Verbum," he whispered, his eyes glinting with malevolent intent.
Vorgath's eyes lit up with excitement. "Mmmm, you've got physical strength stronger than a normal man without magic, even though you're just a kid." He smiled, his eyes gleaminging with pride. "Hold him well, Boss, don't let him go."
The Boss's expression turned dark, his face twisting with annoyance. "Shut up, Vorgath. Who are you to order me around? I'll kill you if you don't behave. Have you forgotten who's boss here?"
Vorgath's smile faltered, and he took a step back, his eyes flashing with anger. "Sorry, Boss," he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
But I could see the resentment burning within him, the desire to overthrow The Boss and take his place. I realized that Vorgath's loyalty was tenuous at best, and that he was waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
As I watched them, a plan began to form in my mind. "Maybe I can make them fight each other," I thought, a sly smile spreading across my face. "Maybe then The Boss will let his guard down, and I'll be free."
As I continued to taunt the Boss, I could see the anger rising in his face. Vorgath, on the other hand, seemed to be struggling to remain calm, his eyes narrowing as he tried to read my intentions.
"I don't blame you," I said, my voice dripping with malice. "Your parents didn't train you well, and I don't blame you for it."
Vorgath's eyes flickered with interest, and he took a step forward. "What are you implying?" he asked, his voice low and even.
I smiled, enjoying the show. "Your parents didn't bring you up well, so now you're hopeless," I said, my words cutting deep. "You kidnap children, wanting them to become hopeless like you. But they won't be, because they got proper upbringing, unlike yours."
The Boss's face turned red with rage, and he took a step forward, his fists clenched. "How dare you," he growled, his voice low and menacing.
Vorgath, however, remained calm, his eyes locked onto mine. "Noo, I have to remain calm," he reminded himself. "This kid is planning something. I need to stay one step ahead."
The Boss, on the other hand, was beyond reason. He was consumed by his own anger and pride, and he didn't realize that he was playing right into my hands.
"You think you're clever, don't you?" the Boss sneered, his face twisted with rage. "You think you can provoke me and get away with it? Well, let me tell you something, kid. You're not as clever as you think you are. You're just a foolish little brat who doesn't know when to shut up."
I just smiled, enjoying the show. I knew that the Boss was on the verge of losing control, and I was happy to push him over the edge.
"I'm not trying to be clever," I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm just stating the truth. You're a hopeless case, and you're trying to drag others down with you."
Vorgath's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the understanding in his gaze. He knew what I was doing, and he was starting to see the potential benefits of working with me.
The Boss, on the other hand, was beyond reason. He was consumed by his own anger and pride, and he didn't realize that he was walking right into a trap.
"I'll show you what it means to cross me," the Boss snarled, his face twisted with rage. "I'll show you what it means to be a real Boss."
I just smiled, enjoying the show. I knew that the Boss was on the verge of making a fatal mistake, and I was happy to let him dig his own grave.
As the scene unfolded, I couldn't help but think about the plan that was forming in my mind. I was going to use the Boss's anger against him, and I was going to make sure that Vorgath was right there with me.
As I continued to taunt the Boss, I could see the anger rising in his face. Vorgath, on the other hand, seemed to be struggling to remain calm, his eyes narrowing as he tried to read my intentions.
"I'm not lying, am I?" I said, my voice dripping with malice. "You guys insult people, calling them brats, but meanwhile, you're the real meaning of the word brat. In fact, you need to be called brats all the time."
The Boss's face turned red with rage, and he released his other hand from the spell that was immobilizing me. With his free hand, he punched me in the stomach, but my eight abs helped to absorb the impact, making the pain less intense.
The Boss other hand was still immobilizing me and he had used his free hand to punch my stomach.
The Boss thought he had hurt me, but I just smiled, acting like a bad person who didn't care about anything. "You disappoint me," I said, my voice laced with disdain. "I can't really believe you call yourself a Boss. Who made you Boss?"
Vorgath's eyes flickered with interest, and I could see the wheels turning in his mind. He was thinking about making a move, about taking the opportunity to overthrow the Boss and take his place.
The Boss, however, was too far gone to notice. He was consumed by his own anger and pride, and he didn't realize that he was playing right into my hands.
As I continued to taunt the Boss, I could see the anger rising in his face. Vorgath, on the other hand, seemed to be struggling with his own thoughts, his eyes gazing off into the distance.
"You call yourself a Boss, meanwhile you act like a jerk," I said, my voice dripping with malice. "Maybe Vorgath would be the better Boss, not you."
Vorgath's eyes snapped back into focus, and he looked at me with a mixture of surprise and interest. "I'm not interested in being the Boss," he said, his voice firm but unconvincing. "I'm nothing compared to Boss."
But I could see the truth in his eyes. He was interested, and he was thinking about it. I could almost hear his thoughts, echoing in my mind.
"I actually want to become Boss," Vorgath thought to himself. "I want to be feared by the gang, rather than being a slave to Boss. I'm stronger and smarter than him. He was stronger than me before, but that was before. Now I'm better and stronger."
I smiled to myself, knowing that my plan might just work. The Boss, on the other hand, was getting angrier by the second.
"No one can be Boss except me," he growled, his face red with rage.
The rest of the gangsters, sensing their leader's anger, bowed down to him in unison. "Yes, Boss, you're our master," they chanted. "It can't be anyone else."
Their voices were loud and fervent, but I could sense the underlying tension. They were afraid of the Boss, but they were also afraid of change. And I was offering them a chance to change, to overthrow their tyrannical leader and install a new one.
Vorgath's eyes met mine, and I could see the spark of interest igniting within him. He was thinking about it, thinking about the possibilities.
"I wonder what it would be like to be Boss," he thought to himself. "I wonder what kind of power and respect I would command. I wonder if I could do a better job than him."
As I continued to taunt the Boss, I could see the anger rising in his face. Vorgath, on the other hand, seemed to be watching the scene unfold with great interest.
"You believe their lies, you aren't even smart enough to know," I said, my voice dripping with malice. "And you actually call yourself a Boss."
The Boss's face turned red with rage, and he shouted at the top of his lungs. "AAAARGH, you shut up you little pest!"
I couldn't help but smile to myself. I was using the Boss like a pawn, and I couldn't believe how easy it was to manipulate him.
"I'm not afraid of you," I said, my voice steady. "You're just a coward who hides behind his magic and his minions."
The Boss was so angry that he released his hand from the magic spell that was immobilizing me. He was about to punch my face, but I could feel the force coming towards me. I dodged the attack at the last second, and then I counterattacked.
I used my knee to kick the Boss in the face, and then I rushed to his back and kicked his balls with my school shoe. The sound of the impact was loud, and the Boss crumpled to the ground in agony.
Vorgath knew that this would happen, and he activated his magic. "Celeritas," he whispered, and suddenly he was moving faster than light.
But I was ready for him. I had already jumped and rolled backwards, and as Vorgath attacked, my knee hit his nose. He was bleeding severely, and I could see the pain in his eyes.
I also kicked his balls, and the sound of the impact was even louder than before. Vorgath crumpled to the ground, holding his groin in agony.
As I stood over the two of them, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. I had outsmarted them, and I had come out on top.
But as I looked at Vorgath, I saw something in his eyes. It was a glimmer of respect, and maybe even a hint of admiration.
"You're a clever one," Vorgath said, his voice strained with pain. "I didn't think you had it in you."
I smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "I feel like I'm full of surprises myself," I said.
As I stood tall, my eyes locked onto Vorgath's pitiful form. He was still clutching his balls. I felt no guilt after what he did to me, I had to keep my emotions in check so I won't lose my guard down.
"You're...you're a monster," Vorgath gasped, his voice barely above a whisper.
I smiled, a calculated smile. "I'm not a monster," I said, my voice low and even. "I'm just someone who tried to break free from getting kidnapped. And in this world, i am getting to realize only the strongest survive."
Vorgath's eyes widened in fear as I raised my foot, ready to deliver the final blow. "P-please, don't kill me!" he begged.
I chuckled thinking he was faking, a dry, mirthless sound. "You should have thought of that before you crossed me and kidnapped me in the first place."
With a swift motion, I kicked Vorgath's face, sending him crashing to the ground. His head bounced off the concrete, leaving a little bloody smear behind.
As the girl opened her eyes, she was met with a wave of confusion. "What the fuck just happened?" she thought to herself. She slowly stood up, taking in her surroundings. She saw me standing there, my school uniform covered in blood, and her eyes widened in surprise.
"Did this guy defeat them by himself?" she thought, her mind racing with questions.
She looked over at Vorgath, who was still lying on the ground, unconscious. The Boss was still clutching his groin, his head on the ground, filled with pain.
The girl's eyes returned to me, and she felt a sense of gratitude. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
I nodded, my expression serious. "You're welcome," I replied. "But we need to get out of here, now."
The brother and sister stood up, hugging each other tightly. "We're free," the sister said, tears of joy streaming down her face.
"Yes, we are," the brother replied, smiling. "Thanks to him."
The girl looked at me again, her eyes filled with admiration. "You're amazing," she said. "I don't know how you did it, but you saved us."
I smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "I just did what needed to be done," I said.
As I stood there, surrounded by the people I had just saved, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. I had faced my fears and overcome them. I had stood up for myself and for others.
I thought back to all the times I had been beaten and bruised, all the times I had been forced to fight for my life. And I realized that it had all been worth it. I had become stronger, tougher, and more determined.
I looked at the girl, the brother, and the sister, and I knew that I had made a difference in their lives. I had given them a second chance, a chance to live their lives free from fear and oppression.
"We should get out of here," the brother said, looking around nervously and seeing the rest of the gangsters in surprise looking at them.
But one of the gangsters shouted angrily "Hey, is not over. It is left with us. Come and show us what you're made of."
This is becoming a disaster, im already hurt, trying to keep my pain and now these dudes want to fight now.
