Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 :Escaping; A Fight For Freedom

The rest of gangsters now wanted to come and fight but I have already had enough. The girl said getting annoyed "Now, we have to fight the rest of them. This is shit." The girl looked at me standing infront as she saw the bruises and cuts I received. She saw my tore uniform as she thought "He went through hard times for us. He may be a pervert but he got himself almost killed just to save us."

Meanwhile me still figuring our on how I would escape without fighting against the gangsters. But first I needed to save the rest of the children to the wall. I said to the girl, the guy and his sister "Any way you can save the rest of the children and get out of here."

The girl said annoyingly feeling sympathy towards me "I hate to say it but what are you going to do. Are you going to defeat a whole gang by yourself." "What else do you think I'm going to do." I said, but as i spoke my words the girl thought I was going to defeat the gangsters. But I continued "I'm going to try and get out of here without fighting."

The girl rolled her eyes annoyingly as she thought "Why did I even bother to ask. You're not even going to fight them. I feel stupid for asking." Then the girl took the knife she was holding back then and went to the children and cut loose of every rope in which the children were tied to the walls.

The Boss shouted to the gangsters after realizing we were about to escape "You pest, catch the children before they make their way out of here." The gangsters steeled themselves ready to fight.

As I watched the girl cut the ropes, I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for her. She was tough, resourceful, and determined. And despite the fact that I had been a bit of a pervert around her, she was still willing to help me out.

After the girl cut every single one of the ropes, the children surrounded her and thanked her. They all hugged together, some of the children were tall, short, teens, and so on. The children were many. The girl's cheeks turned a little red, feeling happy that she had saved them.

I was still in front, as I said to the girl, "Now get out of here." The children shouted, "Thank you, sir." Others replied, "Yeah, we owe you one." I wasn't in the mood, because I didn't want to fight the gangsters.

The girl thought, because of my ignorance, I seemed like a hero to her, as she thought, "He really is into it. Then we have no other choice, we need to let the plan of his work."

The girl said to the children, because there was no time left, "Right, follow me. Maybe we could find a door or something to escape." Every single child or kid followed the girl, even the guy and his sister followed. The girl acted as the leader, guiding them, and was in front.

As they moved away, I didn't turn back to look, as I was truly focused on my strategies on taking down all these gangsters.

The girl watched me standing there, as she thought feeling a tiny bit of sympathy, "You might be a pervert, but survive this one."

As the children went out, the Boss shouted, "Noooo. Daamnnn it." Hearing the Boss's voice, I got an idea, and it's a cunning one.

I thought to myself, "This is it. This is my chance to get out of here without fighting."

The Boss turned to watch as the children went straight and turned to find a way out. The Boss closed his fist hard in anger as he said, as if saying to the gangsters "Aaaarrggg, I can't believe they couldn't capture such weak and tiny little children. How could you allow them to escape."

This was annoyingly to watch because he always gets angry over little things that aren't a big problem. "S-Sorry Boss," the gangsters said, feeling scared. Their words even made it sound like they were terrified of their Boss.

"He's really a hot-headed guy, getting angry over little things that aren't a big deal to people," I thought, even saying those words almost made me insult him. "Like seriously, why should we stay here forever or what?"

The Boss then placed his hand on the floor, trying to get up, because his balls were paining him from the kick I gave him. The Boss was shaking as he tried getting up slowly, but his angry mood didn't change, and he replied, "Shut up, you fool. A real man has to do everything by himself."

Meanwhile, the Boss didn't know that his getting up was all part of my plan. "He is calling his gang a fool, meanwhile, he makes my plan work easily," I thought, watching the Boss get up, filled with pride as my plans were going smoothly.

"I feel sorry for this type of gang, because their Boss is something else," I said, my face scrunched up in a funny expression, , with raised eyebrows and a twisted mouth, making it look like I was trying not to laugh.

As I watched the Boss struggle to get up, I couldn't help but think that this was too easy. He was so predictable, so hot-headed, and so arrogant. It was like he was walking right into my trap.

The Boss finally managed to get up, his face red with anger and pain. "You think you're clever, don't you?" he spat at me. "But you're not going to get away from me that easily."

I just smiled, my funny expression still on my face. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots," I said, trying to sound sarcastic.

I walked towards him, walking gently as I took a step closer to him. The Boss closed his fist hard, prepared for this battle. But I just went closer to him, I wasn't in the mood to fight. The gangsters stopped, hoping for the Boss to beat me up, as one of the gangsters came out in the crowd with a red handkerchief tied across his head. And every gangster's head was tied with a handkerchief.

The gangster who popped out in the front was slim and had no shirt, he had six abs, but they weren't showing boldly. The slim gangster said, "Boss, we believe in you, we want you to kick that kid's ass properly." After saying his words, every gangster shouted, cheering for the Boss.

But as I stood face to face with the gangster, I looked up, looking at his face, and the Boss looked down, looking at my face.

The Boss's anger and heavy breathing suggested he was more furious than fight-ready"

"I'm not going to fight him," I thought to myself. "I'm just going to end this quickly and prove to the rest of the gangsters that I'm stronger than their Boss."

"Let's wrap this up quickly," I said, closing my fingers and closing my fist. I rose my leg up, my school shoe hitting the Boss's balls again. The Boss crossed his legs after I kicked his balls, his face contorted in a comical mixture of pain and shock, as if he'd been punched in the gut, and that made it look even funny

Every gangster shouted after hearing the sound of me kicking his balls. "Damnnn!" they shouted together, as if they were feeling the pain themselves. The slim gangster from before crossed his legs, just like the Boss, as if feeling the pain.

"Daamn, that was shit, man," he thought to himself.

I moved back as the Boss fell down to the ground. And it was clear that I was the winner.

"You...you won," the slim gangster said, stunned. "But how? The Boss is our strongest member."

"I don't need to be the strongest to win," I said, smiling. "I just need to be smarter."

The gangsters looked at each other, unsure of what to do next. They had never seen their Boss defeated twice in a row before, and they didn't know how to react.

I finally said after kicking the Boss's balls, "Now that you guys know the winner, I'm leaving too." But when I was going, I mistakenly stepped on Vorgath's leg.

I turned to look at him, and he was still fainted. I thought, "He's still unconscious." But I looked closely and saw his eyebrows move a little, as if he was frowning. I rose my head up, and I sighed, knowing fully that he was faking.

I thought, "So he was faking all this time. I should have known earlier, since he seems to be the type to fool someone. But you can't fool me."

I then knelt down, one knee down and the other knee up. I thought, as if I'm the bad guy here, "Now let's see how far you try to sleep." Vorgath, still faking his sleep, felt some kind of fake aura filled with evil intentions coming from me. I rose my hand up, and with a sly smile, I slammed hard, hitting Vorgath's balls.

Vorgath closed his eyes, trying to open them, but closed his fist hard because of the pain he felt. "Ahh...!" he groaned quietly, trying to maintain his composure. Vorgath thought, feeling both scared and angry, "Crap, this kid already knows that I'm faking. So why did he hit my balls instead? Does he want to kill me after all."

Vorgath, maintaining his calm after being hit in the balls, got me surprised. I thought, "He's keeping calm after being hit in the balls. That's indeed impressive. That's something no boy or man can do or even survive." I looked at him with a mixture of surprise and admiration.

"You're pretty tough, I'll give you that," I thought, impressed. "But let's see how far you can go. I know you're just pretending to be unconscious. But you can't fool me."

I stood up, looking at Vorgath with a mixture of surprise and admiration. "You're pretty tough, I'll give you that," I said, impressed. "But I'm not going to hit you again. I don't want to cause any permanent damage."

Vorgath, still faking his unconsciousness, thought to himself, "What is he planning now? He's not going to hit me again, is he?" He tried to remain calm, but his mind was racing with possibilities.

I got an idea, a cunning one, and I couldn't help but smile. "I've got it," I thought to myself. I held both of Vorgath's legs and started to spin around. Vorgath, unprepared for this, thought feeling scared, "What the... what's he going to do to me now? Crap, I better let him know I know he's awake before he kills me."

As I spun around, Vorgath's head started to flail around, and the Boss, still on his knees, got hit by Vorgath's head. The Boss's head fell down, and it seemed like he had given up the ghost. But I knew he was still alive, just unconscious.

Vorgath shouted, giving up, "Alright, alright kid, I give up! Now leave me alone, I beg of you!" I replied, getting excited, "But this can't end so suddenly. I will stop when I feel like it."

Vorgath began to cry in a comical way, as if his soul had already come out of his body. "No, no, no! Please stop! You're going to make me dizzy!" he exclaimed. I laughed, enjoying the sight of Vorgath's desperation.

Just then, Vorgath's "soul" came out of his body, floating in the air. It looked at me with a pleading expression, saying, "Please, kid, have mercy! Don't make me suffer anymore!"

I continued spinning, and Vorgath's "soul" returned to his body. He lay there in the air his hand flying in the air and panting and he was exhausted.

As I spun around with Vorgath, I started to feel dizzy. "This dizziness is too much," I thought. "I might fall down. Let me leave him and go." I decided to throw him up in the air, and he soared high, almost hitting the top ceiling of the building.

The gangsters looked up in unison, their eyes wide with excitement. "Let's catch Vorgath!" they shouted. The slim guy with no shirt stepped forward, positioning himself to catch Vorgath as he fell.

"Okay, I've got this," the slim guy said, his voice confident. But as Vorgath fell towards him, he suddenly looked unsure. "Wait, which one is the real Vorgath?" he muttered, his eyes darting back and forth.

Vorgath, meanwhile, was thinking, "This is it, huh? My life wasn't that good." He closed his eyes, bracing for impact.

But instead of being caught, Vorgath fell straight down, landing with a thud on the floor. The gangsters shouted in unison, "Ouchhh, that must hurt!"

The slim guy stood there, frozen in place, looking like he was in shock. "I...I didn't catch him," he stuttered.

Vorgath lay there, unconscious, while the Boss was still out cold. I, on the other hand, was still spinning around like crazy. I turned left and saw the door straight,I had to walk there before opening the door.

I stumbled towards the door, trying to focus on the handles.

"Okay, which one do I turn?" I muttered to myself, staring at the two handles. My head was spinning, and I felt like I was going to fall over.

The door is an old, rusty brown metal door with a handle

As I stumbled towards the door, I couldn't help but think, "Why did I spin around so much? I'm really paying for it now." My vision was blurry, and my legs felt like jelly. I was determined to get out of there, but my body seemed to have other plans.

I reached out to grab the handles, but my hands felt like they were moving on their own. I missed the handles by a mile, and my hands slapped against the wall instead. "Ow!" I muttered, feeling a surge of pain.

I tried again, this time managing to grab one of the handles. But as I turned it, I realized it was the wrong one. The door didn't budge. "No, no, no!" I exclaimed, frustration mounting.

As I was about to sleep on the door due to my dizziness, I thought to myself, "This is it. I'm going to pass out right here." But just as my head was about to hit the door, it swung open, and I felt myself falling forward. My dizziness made me see two of the girl, and I couldn't help but think, "What the...?"

As I fell, I felt my chest touch hers, and I was surprised to feel her softness. I was even more surprised to see her, as I thought she had left with the other children. "Why is she still here?" I wondered.

The girl's cheeks turned bright red as she exclaimed, "Get up, you pervert!" Her voice was angry, but I could sense a hint of embarrassment beneath it. I tried to respond, but my dizziness made it hard to speak.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, the girl's hand came flying towards my head, and I thought, "This is it. I'm going to get knocked out." But as her hand approached, my dizziness suddenly wore off, and I saw her clearly. She was saying, "Get off me, pervert!"

I quickly scrambled to my feet, still trying to process what was happening. The girl looked up at me, her eyes blazing with anger. "You this pervert, why can't you stop admiring me." she spat.

I held up my hands in defense. "H-Huh, I'm not admiring you," I stuttered. But the girl just rolled her eyes and said, "Then get off me, fool."

As I stepped back, the girl used her knee to jab me in the stomach. But I didn't budge, thanks to my eight abs. She looked at me in surprise, and I thought, "Yeah, I'm pretty tough."

The girl glared at me and said, "You pervert, stop admiring me and get off me." But I just shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs. "I'm not admiring you,I was just dizzy." I repeated.

"Talk all you want, I already know you're a pervert." The annoyingly.

The girl huffed and stood up, brushing off her dusty clothes. As she looked at me, her eyes widened in surprise. "Look at your shirt, you're bathed in blood or what," she exclaimed.

I looked down and saw that my clothes were indeed stained with blood, especially the front. But the back wasn't as bad. "I, uh, had a bit of a fight," I said sheepishly.

The girl raised an eyebrow. "A bit of a fight? You're covered in blood!" She shook her head and muttered, "I don't even want to know." The girl just believed that the fight happened when she was unconscious

As we stood there, I couldn't help but wonder why the girl was still with me. "Doesn't she have a family to go back to?" I thought. But as I looked at her, I saw a determination in her eyes that made me realize she wasn't going anywhere.

"Thanks for waiting for me," I said, trying to sound sincere.

The girl looked at me warily. "I wasn't waiting for you. I was just making sure you didn't get yourself killed."

I smiled wryly. "Same difference, right?"

The girl just rolled her eyes and said, "Let's just get out of here before more trouble finds us."

As we stood there, the girl said, "Let's just get out of here before more trouble finds us." I began looking at my surroundings, taking in the dense forest that surrounded us. "Where are we?" I asked the girl, feeling a sense of unease.

There were no houses in sight, only trees that towered above us, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The only sounds were the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds. The girl replied, acting all bossy, "Ohh, I don't know this place, but I know how to get outta here. I even helped send the children to escape out of here."

I was surprised by the answer she gave me, it made me realize that she wasn't as smart as I thought. "W-Wait, you did what?" I said in surprise and disappointment. "Do they even know where they're going?" I thought to myself, "This is not good. She's just a kid, what does she know about survival?"

The girl wasn't prepared for my reaction, and she turned a deaf ear to me. "Like seriously, can't you stop acting too mature? Children even know where they're going. So shut up and let's go." Her answer was like a blast of cold air, I never knew a girl could give such a sassy response.

I was taken aback, but I decided to follow her anyway. As we walked, I thought to myself, "Does she really know where she's going? This is taking long." My throat was getting dry, and I was starting to feel a bit worried. But I didn't want to say anything, I just kept following her.

After about five minutes of walking, I saw a glimmer of light through the trees. As we walked closer, the light grew brighter, and I saw the outline of houses and buildings. We emerged from the forest, and found ourselves on the outskirts of a town.

As I saw the buildings, I thought to myself, "Maybe I spoke too soon. She does know where she's going." It made me realize that she was a girl who could survive on her own, and that I had underestimated her.

The girl turned to me and said, she was still being bossy "See, I told you I knew where I was going." She had a smug look on her face, and I couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, yeah, you were right," I said, trying to sound casual.

I looked up and it was getting to evening. I thought, "It's good it's night, this can help prevent people from seeing my blood." My clothes were stained with blood, and I didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention.

As we looked at the town, I saw people busy with their daily lives. Some were chatting, playing on the street, while men and women went about their business. But despite the hustle and bustle, I couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty. "We are lost," I thought, looking at the girl who was turning her head left and right. I could tell she was also lost.

We went straight, walking as we looked at the shops with foods and toffee. The lights outside of houses were turned on, casting a warm glow over the streets. We looked at people enjoying, chatting, and laughing together. My stomach growled with hunger, and my throat felt dry. But I remained calm, not wanting to show any weakness in front of the girl.

"I feel weak," I thought, "and I haven't eaten recently. But this girl... I can't just disgrace myself here." I didn't want to appear vulnerable in front of her, so I kept my hunger and thirst to myself.

As we continued walking, the girl whispered to me, "Yoo, how about we get some food? I'm getting hungry." My heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. I was happy to have an excuse to eat, but I didn't want to appear too eager.

"Where?" I asked, trying to sound nonchalant.

The girl said, "Wait here," and ran straight to a shop selling sweets and cakes. I waited, thinking to myself, "Can she really do this? Damn, I'm hungry and my throat is dry." I was skeptical, but I didn't want to doubt her.

As I waited, I thought about how much I wanted to eat. My stomach was growling, and my mouth was watering at the thought of food. But I didn't want to appear weak, so I stood there, trying to look calm.

The girl ran back to me, holding two pancakes in a plastic wrapper and two candies. "Here," she said, handing me a pancake and a candy. "Let's eat."

I took the food from her, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude. "Thanks," I said, trying to sound casual.

The girl stood beside me and handed me a brown, well-designed cupcake in a plastic wrapper. I didn't bother to ask her how she got it, because my hunger was taking over. She then handed me a toffee, and I took it, noticing that the white stick had a red color, while hers had a pink color with a white toffee. The toffee was a circle-shaped delight.

As I placed mine in my mouth, the sweetness and juiciness of the toffee almost made my mouth water. I pulled it out and looked at it carefully, savoring the flavor they used in making the toffee. I placed it back in my mouth, feeling a sense of joy and gratitude towards the girl.

"The toffee is nice, right?" the girl said, acting friendly towards me instead of being hot-headed. "I have tasted this before, this is my third time."

"And the best thing about it is that it can change colors after licking it for a period of time," she continued. "That's why it's called the Multi-colored candy."

I turned to her, surprised and excited. "Wait, really?" I asked, my eyes widening with curiosity.

I then held the stick and licked it very fast. As I pulled it out, I was amazed to see that it had turned green. "Look, it turned green!" I exclaimed, showing it to the girl.

The girl chuckled, still showing her good side. "You're quite the toffee-lover," she teased.

I replied, "Nah, I'm not. I don't like candy, but I think I will get used to this." The girl smiled and said, "That's good. Toffee can bring happiness, you know."

We kept on walking, enjoying the peaceful evening, until we heard shoutings from behind. The girl thought, getting annoyed by the shouting, "Who would be making noise by this time in the evening?" I turned around, and it was getting dark, so the girl and I couldn't see their faces properly.

"Wait, could that be the gangsters?" I thought, my heart racing with anxiety. I looked at the handkerchief tied across their head, and my worst fears were confirmed. "Crap, so they came looking for me."

The gangsters then walked to the light near the house, which turned on the lights, illuminating the area. The girl also realized who they were, and before she could do something, I took her hand and quickly pulled her next to the wooden fences near a building.

I covered the girl's mouth, trying to keep her quiet. The girl said "Mwe mee moo meme," struggling to speak properly because I covered her mouth tightly. But what she meant was "Leave me, you pervert."

I whispered to her, "The gangsters are here, and it seems they're looking for us." I still covered the girl's mouth as she held my neck, trying to push me away.

I said, "If I let go, keep quiet. Don't make a sound." But the girl was making noise, trying to struggle free, which made it difficult for me to know if the gangsters had heard us.

So I let go of her mouth, and she breathed heavily, whispering angrily, "Leave me alone. Don't you ever touch me." She was making noise, and I quickly covered her mouth again, saying "Shh, shut up. They will come."

The girl punched my stomach, trying to get me to let go, but I held her tight, trying to keep her quiet. I thought, "I know she's angry, but I have to keep her safe. Those gangsters won't hesitate to kill us if they find us."

As we stood there, frozen in silence, the slim gangster from before appeared beside us, holding a knife. But he didn't notice us, too focused on searching the surroundings. I still covered the girl's mouth, trying to keep her quiet.

The gangster muttered to himself, "Where could they be? I know they were around here somewhere." He scanned the area, his eyes narrowing as he searched for any sign of us.

The girl, still annoyed, hit my stomach again, but this time she hit the spot where Vorgath had stabbed me during our fight. I winced in pain, letting her go as I instinctively clutched my stomach.

She got annoyed and angry, but remained silent, her eyes flashing with frustration. I could sense her tension, her body rigid with anger.

As the gangster finished scanning the area, he thought, "Fuck, they ain't here too." He called out to the rest of the gang, "Yo guys, they aren't here, so let's continue searching for the kids. Keep your eyes awake, it's late at night."

The rest of the gangsters followed the slim guy, disappearing into the night as they continued their search. As soon as they were out of earshot, the girl yelled at me, "You can't stop acting like a pervert for once!"

I held my stomach, still feeling the pain from her punch. "You always misunderstand things," I said, trying to explain. "You can't be quiet. They almost caught us."

The girl looked at me, her expression softening slightly as she saw the pain in my eyes. "Then I'm sorry for misunderstanding," she said, "but don't do that again. You caught me off guard."

I sighed, feeling a mix of relief and frustration. "Let's just keep moving," I said. "We'll try our best not to get caught."

The girl nodded, her eyes still flashing with anger, but she seemed to be calming down. "Fine," she said. "But next time, just warn me, okay?"

I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her. "I will," I said.

As we stood there, the tension between us slowly dissipated, replaced by a sense of determination and purpose. We knew we had to keep moving, to find a way out of this situation before it was too late.

"Let's go," I said, gesturing for her to follow me.

The girl nodded, and we set off into the night, our footsteps quiet as we navigated the dark streets.
