As I stood frozen, unable to move, I couldn't help but think about how I had ended up in this situation. The girl, the two siblings, and I were all immobilized, at the mercy of the ruthless Boss. The children tied to the walls with ropes were crying, their eyes wide with fear. I knew I had to do something, but my body wouldn't budge.
The Boss, his face twisted with anger, shouted at the children, "Silence you brats! Cry again and I will kill you!" The children's eyes grew even wider, and they fell silent, afraid of what the man would do to them.
I, however, couldn't keep quiet. I had to try and provoke the Boss, to make him angry enough to make a mistake. "Ahh, T-They don't have anything to do with this," I said, trying to sound brave. "You're the brat, not them. Or are you scared to fight me?"
The Boss's expression changed from anger to fury. He quickly grabbed my hair, his grip like a vice. "Who are you calling scared?" he spat, his face inches from mine. "Is it like you want to see my dark side? I will make you regret something you would never like and forget."
I could feel his hot breath on my face, but I refused to back down. I was determined to act brave, even if I was scared inside. "I-I don't care," I said, trying to sound confident. "Give me all your best. Whoever you are, I'm still going to kick your ass."
The Boss squeezed my hair tighter, his eyes blazing with anger. "I see, you're trying to act all heroic, huh?" he sneered. "But you're nothing but an annoying brat."
I knew I had to keep pushing him, to make him lose control. "C-Call me whatever you like," I said, trying to sound defiant. "But all I see is a thing standing in front of me. You can't do shit to me."
The Boss's face turned red with rage. He used his other hand to punch me in the face, his fist connecting with my eye. I felt a surge of pain, and my eyes almost swelled shut.
But all I could do is just stand there, frozen and helpless.
As I stood there, frozen and helpless, I couldn't help but think that I had made a grave mistake. The Boss's punch had left me reeling, and I could feel my eye throbbing with pain. But I refused to give up. I knew I had to keep pushing him, to make him lose control.
The Boss, still holding my hair, looked at me with a twisted grin. "You're a tough one, I'll give you that," he said, his voice dripping with sadism. "But you're no match for me. I'm going to enjoy breaking you."
I tried to speak, but my voice was barely above a whisper. "I...I'm not going to break," I said, trying to sound confident.
As I stood there, frozen in place, the Boss's words echoed in my mind. "Man, you reply to anything I say, you're getting annoying. Maybe you need to be taught a lesson before you show respect."
I thought to myself, "What have I gotten myself into? I was just trying to protect the girl, but now I'm the one who's in trouble."
The girl behind me was frozen in shock, her eyes wide with fear. She thought to herself, "What's he doing, is he acting heroic or stupid? Why is he provoking the Boss like that?"
The Boss's face was red with anger, his eyes blazing with fury. He shouted, "Guys, hit him till he learns a lesson!"
The gangsters, who had been watching the scene unfold, nodded eagerly and began to close in on me. They were a rough-looking bunch, with scars covering their faces and arms and handkerchiefs tied across their heads.
As they surrounded me, the Boss pushed me to the floor, and the gangsters began to kick me mercilessly. I felt kicks coming from all directions, every inch of my body screaming in agony. My school uniform was quickly turning dirty, the fabric torn and tattered from the blows.
As I lay there, unable to move due to the spell that had been cast upon me, I could feel the gangsters' kicks raining down on me. The girl behind me was also being hit, and I could sense her pain and fear.
The Boss stood over me, his eyes blazing with anger. "Will you now show respect?" he spat. "Give a reasonable answer, because even a fool would choose to know what to say. Don't piss me off."
I knew I had to respond, but my voice was shaking with fear and pain. I used my hands as shields, crossing them together to protect my face, and said, trying to act confident and brave, "Like I said, I would repeat it again. I don't give a shit about you. Give me all your best, whoever you are, I'm still going to kick your ass."
My voice was struggling, word by word, but I refused to back down. The Boss's face turned red with rage, and he cracked his head, his eyes filled with anger and hatred towards me.
"You're a foolish kid," he snarled. "You think you can take me down? I'll show you what it means to cross me."
The gangsters continued to kick me, their blows landing with precision and cruelty. I felt my body ache, my muscles screaming in agony, but I refused to give up.
The Boss's anger was palpable, his face twisted in a snarl as he ordered the gangsters to kick me even harder. "How could you disrespect our boss?" one of them sneered, his foot connecting with my stomach. "We will kick you even harder for this kid."
I groaned, trying to catch my breath as the gangsters continued to pummel me. But I refused to back down, my eyes locked on the Boss as I spat out a mouthful of blood.
The Boss shouted at the gangsters to back off, his eyes blazing with fury. "Let me give this brat a lesson that he will never forget in his life," he snarled, his hand closing around my school uniform as he hauled me to my feet.
I swayed, my vision blurring as the Boss raised a knife to my throat. "You've made the mistake of your life," he hissed, his breath hot against my ear. "You're going to die."
The children tied to the wall gasped in terror, their eyes wide with fear. The girl behind me thought to herself, "What the fuck is he doing? Is this also according to his plan?" She was concerned and annoyed for me, but she had decided to let this play out, thinking that it was all part of my plan.
I, on the other hand, was still trying to catch my breath, my lungs burning from the kicks I had received. But I refused to back down, my eyes locked on the Boss as I sneered at him. "Hehehe, I don't care," I said, my voice weak but defiant. "You actually think you can kill me? I'm not going to die because of a brat like you."
The Boss's face turned red with rage, his eyes bulging as he snarled at me. "You fucking brat..." he spat, the knife glinting in the dim light as he stabbed me closer to my shoulder.
I felt a searing pain as the blade bit deep, my vision blurring as I fell to the ground. The girl behind me gasped, her voice trembling as she thought to herself, "What the...., did I hear someone being stabbed? Did he stab the guy?"
The blood dripping from my wound started to flow, and I groaned, my voice weak as I whispered, "Aaaaargh."
The Boss stood over me, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction as he sneered at me. "You said I wouldn't stab you, but I did," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "Next time, don't test my anger."
I glared up at him, my eyes burning with hatred as I thought to myself, "You're going to pay for this, you bastard. I'm not going to die. I'm going to make sure you pay for what you've done."
The girl behind me was frozen in shock, her eyes wide with fear as she thought to herself, "What have I gotten myself into? Is this guy for real?" But she refused to back down, her eyes locked on the Boss as she thought to herself, "I'm not going to let him get away with this. I'm going to make sure he pays for what he's done."
As I lay there, my vision blurring, I knew that this was far from over. I was going to make sure that the Boss paid for what he had done, no matter what it took. And the girl behind me was going to be right there with me, fighting for justice and revenge.
But the Boss wasn't finished yet. He sneered at me, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Just give up this nonsense and I won't kill you for real," he said, his voice dripping with condescension.
I spat at him, acting as if I hadn't heard his words. "Oh, spare me," I said, my voice laced with sarcasm. "At first, you say you're going to kill me, but now you're giving me a chance? And you call yourself the boss of this stupid gang?"
The girl behind me thought to herself, "Just what the hell are you doing? At this rate, you're going to die, and you don't even care." She was getting anxious, her mind racing with thoughts of how to get us out of this situation.
The brother, still holding his sister frozen and immobilized, thought, "Don't make him angry again, please. Just apologize and maybe he'll let us go." But I knew I couldn't give up now. Not after what the Boss had done to me.
"I won't give up now," I thought to myself. "Not after he stabbed me. I'll make him angry, even if it means I'll get hit by him again. But I did this out of courage, because at least if he gets me, he'll leave the other children and the girl alone."
The Boss's face turned red with rage as I continued to taunt him. He closed his fist, his patience wearing thin. "You're just a foolish kid," he spat. "You don't know when to shut up."
But I wouldn't back down. "Now I understand why you capture little children," I said, my voice steady. "It's because you're too weak to beat grown-ups. You call me weak, but you're the weak one. You call me a brat, but you're the one who's supposed to be called a brat..."
The Boss had had enough. He stabbed me again, this time in the leg, and then repeatedly in the stomach. I felt my vision blurring, my body screaming in agony. The Boss stood over me, his eyes blazing with fury, the knife covered in my blood.
"Now you see," he shouted, his voice triumphant. "You've pissed me off, and now you're going to die any minute now."
I didn't know why, but I felt like fainting. I wished for any hope, any chance of escape. I wanted my mom and dad to come save me, to take me away from this nightmare.
"Is this it?" I thought, my mind racing with fear. "It can't end like this. I'm not even an adult yet."
The girl behind me was afraid her body shaking with sobs. The brother and sister were immobilized in terror, their eyes wide with fear. The Boss stood over me, his chest heaving with exertion, his eyes still blazing with anger.
The girl thought, feeling sad and surprised, "I-Is he dead?" She looked at me, her eyes welling up with tears. Every kid in the room started crying, except for the girl who was immobilized and couldn't move. She thought to herself, as if it was her fault, "Why am I weak? I'm not even useful at using my magic."
The girl shouted to me, who wasn't awake, "Heyyy, don't sleep! Wake up!" But I didn't respond. My body was pounding, my heart racing, but my eyes were closed. It felt like something huge was inside me, trying to break free.
Unbeknownst to me, the chain that the Angel had sealed to prevent my powers from causing unnecessary destruction was starting to break. The chains were yellow and plentiful, as if they were sealing my great power. My body was shaking, and it felt like I was being taken to a different realm. The surroundings were dark, but a light was shining.
I saw an image of myself, but it looked different. It had no color, it was dark, but it shone with different colors. It looked like existence itself. As my eyes opened, I said, questioning myself, "Am I dead? Where am I?"
There was no answer, but the image started walking towards me. It had no face, its body covered with existence. It stared at me, and I said, "W-What's this place?"
The thing spoke, its voice very deep, like thunder talking itself. "Don't give up, Aster. There is no end in your life. You have no limits." Its voice sounded like it could echo through the whole world, like it would tear apart worlds.
I didn't understand anything, and I replied, "N-No end, what do you mean by that? Do you know me or something?" The image held my chin and looked at me. It was like I was seeing nothing, it had no face, no skin, no eyes, nose, mouth, ears, or eyelashes. It was like a void, but it was also like everything.
It replied, "You shall know who you are very soon." I was confused, but I felt a sense of determination. I wanted to know who I was, and what this place was.
I was still confused about where I was, and I replied, "Tell me who I am." The figure in front of me replied, "No need for you to know now, wait for the right moment. I want you to see the world before, I want you to accept any difficulties and act like you are the one man facing it and standing."
I didn't know whether it was scary or a clue to who I am, but I felt a sense of determination rising up within me. The figure then touched my forehead and said, "You're an Unstoppable Force. The Son of Creation."
As soon as it spoke those words, everything turned white, and I felt like I was being pulled back to reality. I opened my eyes, but I couldn't move. I was still confused, and I thought to myself, "What did he mean by 'Unstoppable Force' and 'Son Of Creation'?"
As I looked around, I realized that I was back on the floor, still kidnapped. I didn't feel any pain, but I was still immobilized. The children and the girl were beaten up, with bruises all over them. The Boss was still angry, and Vorgath was still standing, smiling.
I shouted, "Aaaaargh!" in frustration, but I still couldn't move. Everyone was surprised, including The Boss, The girl, the children, the gangsters, and the guy and his little sister.
Blood dripped from the girl's face and nose as she said to me, "You're alive, and I'm glad. My belief and trust are in you now." The Boss held her chin and said, "You've got a precious face, you little girl. I'm sure you would like to come with me."
I was caught off guard and surprised by her words, and I listened as the girl said to the Boss, about to faint, "I hate perverts like you." She then spat on his face and fell unconscious.
The Boss's face turned red with anger, and he shouted, "You little brat! You'll pay for that!" He raised his hand to hit her, but I couldn't move to stop him.
Vorgath stepped forward and said, "Wait, Boss. Let's not hurt her anymore. We can use her as leverage to get what we want."
The Boss turned to Vorgath and said, "You're right. We can use her to get to him." He pointed at me, and I realized that I was the one they were after.
As I knew the gang was after me for no reason, I thought to myself, "I don't understand what's going on, but all I know is that I'm in deep trouble." I looked at the children's eyes, filled with terror, some of them crying. "It can't end like this, everyone is trusting me," I thought. "This world is cruel, but their lives won't end like this."
I then moved, trying to break free from the immobilizing ability, but the Boss said, "Are you trying to escape? You can't escape from my immobilizing ability, try your best." Listening to his words, it made me even more determined to prove him wrong. I screamed, "Aaaaaaaaaargh!"
My muscles started rising up slowly as I tried moving my legs with force. It took long enough to move my legs, and then the others. I moved my whole body with strength, trying to stand up. My muscles showed boldly as I tried hard to get up. As I was almost getting to my feet, Vorgath and the Boss were surprised.
The Boss said, "What the... Impossible. A kid escaping from my ability... this can never happen." I stood up, and the immobilizing ability wore off. I was able to move. I then realized that with enough force, you can outsmart the Boss's magic. So, it has a limit.
"I'm now ready to fight," I said, my voice firm and determined. One of the gangsters said in surprise, "He's a monster."
