Whenever I see them a fire burns inside of me telling me that I have to do what they are doing, to help others, save civilians and stop villains from hurting people... But I can't.

My mind down a spiral, why did he have to say it? Wasn't it a secret? Now everyone will laugh, and bully me, and laugh, and laugh, and...

The class exploded, everyone, laughing at the mere idea of someone like me even trying to get into UA, I can't even defend myself, how am I supposed to defend someone else?

That voice and the sound of small explosions sent shivers down my spine, but I knew that ignoring the voice would be much worse than turning.
"Are you trying to overshadow me? You are just a fucking extra so why don't you stay on your place? UA doesn't even want shit like you."

Bakugo Katsuki, Kacchan, my ex-best friend, didn't even let me finish, smashing his hand on my desk, making the sparkles of the explosion reach my skin and cause a bit of pain that I was used to and ignored.

At the mention of suicide, even though the professor had favourites, had to stop Bakugo from going further and tell him to go sit down.
I heard nothing of the following hour, my repeating Bakugo's words on loop, he had been mean... ok worse than mean, but he had never said something like that, something so... cruel.
When lunch break finally arrived I didn't even care about my lunch and rushed outside, I needed air, someplace where no one could see me cry, and make fun of me.
When I reached the rooftop, I used the keys that the janitor always leaves under an old bucket because he is too lazy to put it back in their place, to open the door and close it behind me, finally being alone.
My mind finally snapped and tears of sadness came out of my eyes, but no scream, I had become so used to crying myself to sleep and trying to be quiet, that I had learned to scream silently thus not annoying anyone.
My mind continued repeating Bakugo's words, on and on, to the point where I didn't know if they were his or simply a thought that had formed inside my mind.
I take a look at the rooftop, more specifically at the fence facing the fall, about how easy it would be to just climb over it and...
I got up from my crying position and slowly walked to the fence, my hand grasping it and my mind constantly repeating those words.
But just as I was about to do something I would have regretted for my whole life, my mind played a single memory, like a flame in a world of darkness, a flame strong enough to feel like a Sun.
It had been the day I was discovered as quirkless, I was scared of what my mom's reaction would be when we got home, but we did, nothing changed, she still smiled, laughed, and hugged like she ever did, and even made katsudon for dinner, and when I asked why.
'Because you are my son, and I will always love you regardless of what the world says.'
That memory made me stop in my tracks and move away from the fence.
'I can't do this to my mom.'
