Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

It seemed that the human-shaped minion I fought first was the strongest one because the others didn't give as much of a hard time, but as compensation, they didn't drop a cool item I could use, unlucky.

What made me worried though was that I had only fought 4 of these minions, not 5, so that left 1 normal enemy, and 1 boss, and the only thing left is a big room with no one inside, screaming boss arena from every angle.

'... Fuck it.' I thought while spending my status points.

Taking a big breath to relax my nerves and let my body get ready for the incoming fight, I ate a piece of food to temporarily boost my HP regen in case of damage I didn't expect, and took a step inside.

Yeah... I ain't going near that even with 50 inch stick.

" YOU, YOU ARE THE INTRUDER THAT RUINED EVERYTHING, I WILL FUCKING SKIN YOU ALIVE AND TURN YOU INTO A MINION OF MINE, CONSISTENTLY ALIVE BUT UNABLE TO MOVE, AHAHAHA." The wizard looked like a mixture between a graphite minion and a human, his eyes bloodshot, his teeth black, and his nails gone and in their place claws made of graphite, he had lost his humanity long ago, so I won't feel bad for what I am about to do, even more, if we consider that he killed his family and he wants to destroy the world.

"KILL HIM MY SON." The wizard shouted after creating a graphite stone in front of the golem.

The golem grabbed it and swung it towards me with all his strength, fortunately during his monologue I didn't sit still and I had already gone to one of the sides of the arena and fastly approached him, if there was one thing old fantasy books had taught me, was that golems needed their wizard to work, otherwise it wouldn't make any sense that the dungeon had a level range of 1-10.

I felt the stone explode right behind me, some piece of it crushing against my body and making me lose around 10% of my HP.

Picking up one of the pieces that had pierced my right arm I aim at the wizard and throw it at him.

The stone I had thrown would have never hit him, but the golem took a step forward, making the piece smash against his body bounce off of it and pierce the leg of the wizard, making him shout profanities no kid should hear.

The gole ignored the screaming wizard, its only job being to kill me and nothing else, he dashed towards me his arms raised above his head trying to smash me, which considering his size, would have killed me instantly.

Taking a daring move I rush towards him, and just as he is about to smash me I slide right under him, really evading being smashed but still receiving some damage because of the shockwave.

But I didn't let the pain stop me, rapidly getting on my feet, the golem taking his sweet time to turn around due to its low agi, letting me reach the wizard.

But just as I was about to smash his head, a wall made of compressed graphite surrounded him, I tried using Flurry of Blows once on him, but it didn't even leave a scratch on the walls, regenerating faster than what damage I could deal to them.

Turning towards the Golem once again I saw it rushing once again, this time aiming for a shoulder charge.

I was against an unmovable object, and an unstoppable force, just question thought, why should I be the one to smash the unmovable object?

Waiting for the correct timing, I jumped away from the trajectory of the golem, once again being injured by the shockwave, and reducing my HP to 58%, but what I saw made me smile.

Standing under the feet of the golem was a pond of blood rapidly expanding, the golem took a few steps forward before crumbling down on the ground, a piece that most likely represented his arm falling right in front of my feet and then disappearing.

'Talk about a-'

My thought was interrupted by the changing scenery, from the previously strangely lit cave made of graphite to my room where only about two hours had passed and nothing had changed.

'-long text.' I completed my thought.

I equipped once again with my casual clothes, leaving only the ring on because I wouldn't have to explain why I was wearing a ring, and laid down on my bad, even though all my HP/SP/EP bars are all nearly full, I still tired like never before.

'Maybe a nap doesn't sound so bad after all.'
