What surrounded me looked like a cave, but after analyzing the walls and the floor I realized that it wasn't made of stone, but graphite, and for some reason, my knife couldn't even leave a small sign on the walls when I tried to attack it.
'Ok, big cave, the wall behind me so I can only go forward, for some reason the whole cave is illuminated even though there is no light, there is a total of 16 enemies, one of which is identified as a Boss, he will most likely be stronger than others.'
After assessing my current situation, and considering stealth wouldn't help I was in a straight line, I slowly continued moving forward, the knife ready to be used, and my other hand in front of me ready to push any incoming attack away from me.
And I didn't wait for long.

Closing the window I saw the minion turning towards me after I had stepped on its range, its body started moving as if he wasn't made of stone, but of meat and bones, which made me flinch, I knew quirks could do incredible things, but this was one of the weirdest thing I ever saw.
The imp rushed towards me, its claws aimed at my chest, dreaming of tearing apart my flesh and eating me.
His dream didn't last long, due to its small size, the difference between our attack range was enormous, before he could even reach me with his claws I had already raised my leg and kicked him away, smashing him against the wall.
It immediately got up, moving like the damage he had just received never happened, once again trying to use his claws to attack me.
'A one trick pony? Lucky for me I guess.'
Not much happened during the fight, his brain didn't function, so he didn't even try to formulate a plan to kill me, and just went on with the same "plan" of using his claws to kill, SPOILER it didn't work.
After nth missed attack, the monster fell on the ground and began screaming, or at least moved his body like he was going to, missing vocal cords didn't help him, 1 or 2 seconds later the monster disappeared, leaving nothing behind.

Not wanting to make my mind wonder how they could drop money, I continued forward after I let my stamina regen, hoping that this would continue like this.
.
.
.
It didn't.
After I had killed 5 of those imp-shaped minions, for a total of 130 XP and 1200 Yen, a new type of enemy appeared, and he wasn't as stupid as the previous ones.

The monster didn't give me a chance to move another step towards him, lunging towards him much faster than the imp and not giving me a chance to react, the only thing I could do was put my arm in front of myself to make it bit that instead of my face.
The bike suit didn't tear, but I was quite sure that the bones in my arm cracked making me grunt in pain and anger.
I tried to make him let go but it didn't put more and more pressure on the nearly breaking arm, so taking a split-second decision I put the wolf in front of me like a shield and smashed him against the unbreakable wall, making it lower the pressure on my arm, but I didn't stop there and continued smashing it, even resorting to punching with my hand after I stored the knife in my inventory just to do a little more damage and free myself faster.
After it had finally realised my arms I didn't let him and instead grabbed him by the neck and pushed him on the ground, once, twice, thrice, after four times the body of the wolf finally became still, and disappeared a few seconds later.
I sat on the ground panting, feeling like shit, with a very injured arm, which seemed to be healing thanks to HP regen and near-bottom stamina.
I closed my eyes to let my regen do its work boosted from eating enough snacks to make someone's stomach explode.
After I opened my eyes, feeling much better than before the thing I saw made my eyes open in surprise.

'Oh right, I can also do that.'
Opening my status I take a look at my stats, and pondered whenever I should use points or not, but ended up deciding to not use them, and save them in case I faced an emey I coulden't defeat and needed a boost.
' Ok then, time to beat up another wolf.'
Animal protection will hate me.
