Mahnoor Lorelei Bianchini's pov
※※※
Unfortunately, I can't even brag because I've never transformed in Zeus, only at home, basic flying lessons for races like mine are only given by their own parents, Zeus only gives battle lessons in which I would've to transform, in the last three years, because by then all the races with wings will have a solid base and the bigger ones like mine won't even up destroying the academy, so... about now.
Our Royal Capital, of the Europe Kingdom, is on Switzerland, which to me makes a lot of sense, but that's that. Markus Wyss is the King, Chiara Zimmermann-Wyss is the Queen, they are both phoenixes, and they've been in power for 300 years, according to my parents, it's the strongest monarchy in the un-natural world, and they have seven children, the first four are quadruples that studied with my paternal grand-nonno in Zeus Academy, and the youngest three are triples who attended Zeus Academy with my paternal nonno, and only two years ago did the Kind and Queen have their first grandchild, out of the mating bond of their firstborn son with his vampire mate.
Now regarding our archenemies.
The Hetheringtons are also dragons, but void dragons, dragons of destruction, they are the ruling family of England. Nevertheless, Nikko isn't solely a void dragon but also partially a vampire because of his madre. He's the firstborn son of the mating bond between Duke Michael Hetherington the only son and heir of Leon Hetherington with Keira Wright-Hetherington of England, and Duchess Olivia Döring-Hetherington the 2nd daughter out of the 4 kids of Charlotte Döring and Damian Schreiber-Döring of Germany.
And his maternal bloodline isn't solely that of bloody vampires, but vampires of darkness known for that the power of that same name, so he's potentially a bloodthirsty dragon of void and darkness, with the forsaken breathtaking beauty of a devil. A bunch of giants, both his maternal and paternal families, no wonder he came out like that. To make it worse, he's a twin, of a girl, but a twin regardless, the older twin, and I've been studying with both of them since I stepped into Zeus, and though he's my sworn enemy, I've never been in anything but nastily hostile grounds with his sister.
Also a bloodthirsty dragon of void and darkness like him, but where his hair is pitch black, hers is a near-white shade of pale blonde like the Targaryens in Game of Thrones. Soleil Adeline Hetherington, she's 1.90m, considered a good height for a girl, and she's gorgeous, so gorgeous it's annoying.
You know what's even worse? The vampire the Crowned Prince of Europe mated, married, and had a baby with, was none other than their madre's youngest sister, their freaking aunt. Thankfully the animosity is between the Hetheringtons and the Bianchinis, and not between the Bianchinis and the Dörings. It's still infuriating to say the least.
And-
"...Bianchini!" Someone called my name frustrated and loudly, in the ancient language we all use speak to each other in here, language unknown to naturals, from the time all un-natural kinds were united, which was in such a long time ago, that's all that remains from it is the language taught in Zeus, and only here.
I blinked, realizing I had already walked inside Zeus, since the last thing I remember was standing outside the gates of Zeus Academy, not just inside the fortress of a palace that is Zeus Academy but inside the communal lounge. Focusing my sight around the direction where the voice came from, I found Mr. Théo-Yohan Leclercq, the professor of flying lessons, with a fame of being able to make even the Royal descendants shiver in fear, and hybrid of phoenix with a night dragon, the later being one of the rarest kins of dragon existent. He's also really, really, really freaking old, don't let his early 30s looks fool you.
"Mahnoor Bianchini!" He called my name again, and I blinked again.
"Mr. Leclercq," I said, tranquil, not really feeling frightened, just annoyed as I would feel if a loud bug was flying around me. It's the first time I speak to him, though I vaguely remember seeing him with my brother in his classes, in his last three years here. "I take that you didn't have that much of a pleasant summer vacation if you're already in such a bad mood when we have barely started it again today."
I walked towards him, and more than a hundred people gasped with my audacity. Though I don't think I said anything really that audacious.
"I see that you are more audacious than your family ever was," he growled, moody.
"I'm an not my family," I said, calmly. "Though I have heard that before," as I got to him, staring up, since the bastard is 2.22m, which I know because I may or may not have an obsession with knowing people's heights. "So, what can I help you with?"
"We have a gathering, and you are late!"
I arched my eyebrows, "The hour set for students to return to Zeus after summertime vacation is 9 am, Mr. Leclercq," then I raised my right wrist and stared at my digital watch, then back at him. "It's 8:06 am, I don't think I could ever be late to anything," definitely not with my power. "And I have not been advised about any kind of gathering prior to the classes, that will only begin tomorrow after lunch, per tradition."
"Students of Year 14 who have the ability to fly by any means, should be here by sunrise, and ready for a gathering with me," he countered. "You should've known."
"How should I? I've never been in Year 14 before," it came out more mockingly than I intended, and he grinned viciously.
"You could've asked your brother, or any of your family members," man, I can almost see his poison dripping down his chin.
"Arianna is not the type to know how to ask for any kind of help, of anybody, Mr. Leclercq," he purred like a leach, popping up out of whatever hellhole he came out from, right behind the professor.
"Oh, yes, because you know everything about me, uh," I hissed at him, and turned to the professor. "My brother just got married, the only thing my family is currently interested in, is his marriage, his mate, and when they will spawn heirs. So, no, I don't think I could have brought in a school talk during summer, especially not relating to you, Mr. Leclercq. Because, with all due respect, my brother and my entire maternal and paternal family despises you and are traumatized by your classes even though it was probably helpful."
And he seemed proud about that, maniac.
