Lavender was walking down the hallway when she saw a crowd gathered in front of her classroom.
She pushed through the crowd to see her table full of snacks and a bouquet. She was confused.
She wondered why someone would leave those on her table.
She noticed something and picked up a card that was next to it. It read smiley man.
She felt chills run down her spine. He wasn't supposed to know where her school was since she never told him.
She looked around wondering if it was a prank but everyone seemed as supprised as her.
She felt even more creeped out. It a few chocolates, cheetoes and pringles.
She put everything away. Decided not to pay to much attention to it but it bothered her.
Through out class she found her mind drifting off to what happened in the morning.
She wondered if he stalked her. Not knowing what to do she buried her head in her arms.
Later on in the day when she snuck out to a restaurant she saw a man getting harassed by kids.
She chased them away and helped the man up.As he got up she saw it was the man who had a wide smile.
She was extremely freaked out. He was the last person she expected and wanted to meet.
They stood there staring at each other. He was about to say something but Lavender hurried off to get herself some pizza.
She wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.
A man she met once, helped once and talked to once somehow knew which school she went to.
When she got to class she was once again met with five chocolates, three cheetoes, two boxes of pizza and six coffees
Again their was a card saying smiley man. She began freaking out.
She didn't have any memory of telling him which school she went to.

Again their was a card saying smiley man. She began freaking out.
She didn't have any memory of telling him which school she went to.
The weirdest part was that she saw him not so long ago.
She wondered if it was a prank. She looked around and it seemed that no one knew anything about what was going on.
She sighed and decided to just except it. She didn't have the energy to inquire why she was given those things.
The next day as she was entering class with Harper she saw her table full of gifts.
She saw the same note again. This time it was all her favorites.
She wondered how he knew her favorite snacks. He even made her lunch.
She started suspecting her father. She chuckled and began eating the chocolate.
Everyday she would get something different. Sometimes expensive and sometimes not.
She eventually got used to it. She didn't have reason to complain so she never confronted him about it.
One day when she went to class she saw a box and envelope on her table.
She got close to it and saw smiley man again. She was about to throw it when she saw something behind.
It turned out there was more written there.
It read: "I know you helped me twice already but I need your help again. It's not much I just need an ear that'll listen. Here's a dress and money. If you do this for me I'll forever be in your dept. Meet me at the beach near your school."
Lavender was shocked. She couldn't believe it was actually the guy she met before.
She wondered if it was safe to meet with him. Her senses were screaming at her not to go but she decided to meet with him anyways.
She felt sorry for him. From a young age she was taught to always help others no matter what.
5 p.m
Lavender was listening to the waves when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned around to see the smiling man.
They took a stroll for a while. Talking about things under the sun.
Eventually he stopped. She ended up bumping into his back.
He turned to look at her, causing sweating to drip down her forehead.
He started out with. "There are things in this world that people can't understand. Supernatural things that are believed to not exist. Whether you believe it or not you are what keeps me alive. I'm actually handsome but this curse is what did this to me."
Lavender just looked at him bewildered. She thought he was a mad man.
She politely smiled before turning to leave. He grabbed her sleeve."Wait!" He screamed after her.
She looked at him incredulously. Shaking off his hand she said. "What?!" A little annoyed at him.
"Look I know you don't believe me but at midnight go to the park nearest your school and look at the moon."
Lavender was confused. Why did she have to do that. A lot of thoughts circled through her head.
She wondered why she had to go to the park near her school.
"Just go there okay. The answer you want is there. Watch the moon move slightly with each passing second."
Lavender stood there, frozen. She turned to leave deciding she had heard enough.
Half of her believed him and the other half didn't.
She felt confused and curious about what he was talking about. She wondered if she should take his advice and go to the park at midnight.
She shook it off wondering why she was even thinking about what he was saying.
She turned around and left unable to shake off what he had said.
Half of her believed what he said and half didn't.
She couldn't stop thinking about what he said. It was obviously a lie but it felt so true.
Through out dinner she kept thinking about it. It plagued her mind without any sign of stopping.
She continuously spaced out. Her mom, noticing this, asked her what was wrong.
She brushed it off as nothing and continued eating. She didn't want her mother worrying about it.
As she layed in bed thoughts of what he said resurfaced. 'I only helped him twice and he thinks I'll listen to that.' Lavender thought as she switched off the lights.
She ruled it out as nonsense and lies. She believed he was mentally unstable. Even though she knew she was naive she knew that was a lie.
Lavender laughed at herself for considering just for a moment that what he said was true.
She just brushed it off as words of a mad man.
She decided to not pay attention to it and went to sleep.
