Lavender had just taken a seat when Harper arrived.
They both looked exhausted. Lavender laid her head down as Harper took her seat next to her.
"You look absolutely horrible, you know that?" is Harper smirked at the comment and said "You're one to talk."
They both started laughing before laying their heads down on the table.
Lavender asked what kept her up at night. Harper told her that she broke up with her boyfriend.
Lavender was shocked. She was more likely to believe that she met a fairy and went flying than her breaking up with her boyfriend.
Lavender then began to laugh. "Finally. I was wondering when you were going to end things with him."
Harper pouted after hearing that. She never really liked Lavender being right.
She suddenly smiled and asked Lavender why she didn't sleep.
"Remember the guy I helped out that one time? Yeah, so I found out he was the one giving me all those gifts."
Lavender said. "He said something about there being magic in this world and I'm some type of chosen one that keeps him alive."
Harper laughed at hearing this information. She could barely say a thing because she was trying to gasp for air.
Lavender sighed at the thought of his ridiculous claim.
She couldn't believe she entertained a mad man and actually considered what he said true.
The two best friends chatted on about different things. Laughing as they jumped from one topic to the next.
Just as they were talking they heard a thud. They turned to look.
To their astonishment Kyle was there laying on the ground gasping for air.
Everyone around him was frantic. They had no idea as to what they were supposed to do.
Lavender hurried over to him and lifted him onto her back.
'He's absolutely heavy.' Lavender thought to herself as she carried Kyle to the infirmary.
After a while of walking she reaches the infirmary. She flops him down onto the bed and sits next to him.
She wondered why he went to school if he was sick.
After while she fell asleep due to exhausted from carrying Kyle.
After being unconscious for a while Kyle wakes up at the infirmary.
He looks around confused on how he got there.
He looks to his side to see Lavender fast asleep.
Just then the nurse came in. Lavender woke up just then and the nurse explained that Lavender brought him there.
Kyle looked supprised. Lavender smiled at him.
He asked her why she did it.
Usually people avoided him, not even inching close to him.
To them he was like the sun. He found it nigh impossible that a girl as average as Lavender got near him.
Lavender stood up to leave but Kyle grabbed her arm.
She looked back at him to see him look at her longingly.
She felt uncomfortable. The look in his eyes made her want to leave even faster.
It was one she was never supposed to receive in her entire life.
According to Lavender if life was a book she would most likely be a side character that's never even noticed.
To her having the Person who she idolized look at her like that was not a possibility.
It was impossible. She didn't think he would look at her with that face.
She quickly left without a second glance. She was satisfied to see him wake up and that was enough for her.
She went to her locker to grab her things before leaving.
