Time goes by slowly, and three years have passed in the blink of an eye. Genya is now three years old.
Growing up in the Uchiha clan, Genya mostly played alone at home or accompanied his father to work. Because of his Dual Pupil eyes, people often kept their distance from him.
In these three years, Genya has learned more about his world. As he had suspected, he is living in the world of Naruto. It is the 51st year of Konoha, and he was born in the same year as Naruto. That makes him only a few months older than Naruto.
"Wow, we're one day closer to the night of the massacre. There are just over four years left!" Genya muttered to himself as he munched on a pig's trotter, eating one after another. "In two years, I'll convince my father to leave Konoha. It's too dangerous here!"
He continued eating, seemingly insatiable. "Slow down, or you'll choke!" came a gentle, loving voice. It was his mother, Senju Yumi.
"Don't worry, dear," Uchiha Kinya said proudly. "Our son has always had a big appetite. He could eat three roast chickens when he was one, and now he can eat ten!"
He beamed with pride, feeling that such an appetite was a sign of greatness, even more than the members of the Akimichi clan.
"You're just spoiling him," Yumi teased, glancing at Kinya.
After breakfast, Yumi handed Genya a stuffed backpack. "Genya, today is your first time going to the Uchiha training ground. There's food in here for when you get hungry." Her tone was full of affection.
She watched as Genya walked away. Despite his steady steps, Yumi was anxious, worried that he might trip and fall.
"Don't worry, he's growing up," Uchiha Kinya reassured her. "Genya is fine."
Yumi still had her doubts. "He's only three years old!"
"And that's fine," said Uchiha Kinya confidently. "Itachi from the Fugaku family graduated from the ninja academy at seven and awakened his Sharingan by eight. Shisui is also remarkable. My Genya will be just as outstanding!"
Yumi blinked her beautiful eyes, as if she had just had a thought, and murmured softly, "I don't want him to be a genius; I just hope he can grow up safely and have a family..."
The greatest hope a mother has for her son is that he lives a carefree, safe, and happy life.
"But..."
Uchiha Kinya sighed, wanting to say more but deciding not to. Instead, he called out to his son: "Son, if you're tired from training, take a break. Your father can support you for the rest of your life!"
Even though he wanted his son to gain fame in the ninja world and prove the doubters wrong, he also wished for his son to be safe, free from harm and illness. Even if Genya did nothing, his father could support him for his entire life.
With the resources of half or more of the Uchiha clan at his disposal, even if Genya had an insatiable appetite, he could still provide for him.
"Okay."
Genya nodded and walked slowly towards the training ground.
Uchiha Clan Training Ground.
This is where the Uchiha clan trains their younger ninjas. Here, children ranging from three years old to teenagers practice their own ninjutsu.
Kunai, shuriken, and some are training their Sharingan.
There were over thirty Uchiha children present, most of whom were performing mediocrely. However, one child, around eight or nine years old, displayed exceptional talent. Every shuriken he threw landed squarely on the wooden target in front of him—clean and precise.
"Brother, you're amazing! When I grow up, I want to be as strong as you!"
Next to the boy, a child of three or four looked on with admiration, eyes wide with wonder.
Nearby, two people watched the training and nodded in satisfaction.
"This little guy, Itachi, is truly talented. His future is limitless!" Uchiha Zentaro, one of the trainers observing Itachi, commented with approval.
Itachi was the hope of the Uchiha family.
"Itachi will probably be on par with Shisui in the future. He graduated at seven and unlocked his Sharingan at eight. He truly is a genius of the Uchiha clan!" said one instructor seriously.
The other instructor nodded in agreement.
The Uchiha clan values strength, and being strong means earning respect.
"Itachi's younger brother is named Sasuke. He's very hardworking and has some talent!" Uchiha Zentaro observed Sasuke trying to throw shuriken like his brother and nodded in approval.
Sasuke's aim isn't as precise as Itachi's, but he just started training two days ago. With proper training, he could become a strong talent in the future.
After a moment of thought, he looked at the other Uchiha children. Though they all had potential, they were still behind the Itachi brothers.
Suddenly, he realized something.
"Hey, I think I forgot something!" Uchiha Zentaro looked around at the Uchiha family members.
Over the past three years, since the Uchiha training ground opened, children from ages three to ten had been training here, and with his guidance, they had all made progress!
The Uchiha clan is becoming increasingly prosperous!
"I remember now, Uchiha Genya is coming!" Another instructor suddenly recalled and slapped his head.
Genya!
"Oh no... it's the boss!" Uchiha Zentaro also slapped his head. Honestly, he was hired by Uchiha Kinya to teach. So Genya was technically his boss.
They quickly finished their tasks and headed to the path that led through the training ground. There, they saw a small figure walking towards them!
The figure was young, but walked with great confidence!
"Genya, you're here!" Uchiha Zentaro exclaimed, stepping forward in surprise.
Facing Genya!
To Genya, Uchiha Zentaro looked like a giant, but he showed no sign of discomfort. His Dual-Pupil eyes fixed on Uchiha Zentaro!
His expression was calm, and he nodded slowly.
"Is this the Dual-Pupil?"
Uchiha Zentaro was amazed as he looked at Genya. He had never seen Genya before, but now, seeing those eyes felt like gazing into a star-filled ocean, impossible to comprehend!
At the same time, he wondered: Is Genya truly a monster of Uchiha clan?
