The guard dragged me until we got to the courtroom. My arm was hurting, and he didn't even pity me for a minute as he kept dragging me through the hall.
I was made to kneel and the tears that filled my eyes made it incredibly hard for me to even see the people that were in front of me.
The room was pin-drop silent for what I'd call hours, and the silence was deafening.
"You know why you are here?" A deep, old husky voice fell into my ear. The sound was coming from my left, but I didn't turn in that direction as I should barely move my hand.
For a day, I had to starve; I was thirsty and didn't even have the energy to speak if I was asked any questions.
"I... I don't," I responded but immediately regretted it because the silence that followed was not only deafening but almost made my ear bleed. I felt so much pain accompanied by the silence in my head.
