BACK TO THE PAST...
In a small, dimly lit room within the towering estate of the notorious Quintero mafia family, a secret was unfolded. It was a night filled with anticipation and whispered secrets that echoed through the corridors the night the twins were born. Vincent remembered pacing anxiously, having mixed feelings of fear and determination. It was well known that the twin's mother could not bear any children, and yet, here she lay, she gave life to twins in their dangerous world.
Amidst the flickering candlelight, shadows danced on the twin's mother's face as she fought through the pain of childbirth. However, there was someone else in the room, someone with secret knowledge that even Vincent was unaware of, standing silently in the shadows observing the scene.
The twin's mother let out a sharp cry, and the room plunged into a moment of tense silence. Carmila and Annabelle Martinelli entered the world in tandem, their cries intertwining like a haunting melody. Identical in appearance, with their raven-black hair and piercing electric blue eyes, but their destinies stood worlds apart.
Vincent rushed to the twins, overwhelmed with relief and awe. He never thought he would see the day that the woman he loved with everything he had would bear his children, let alone twin girls. Wrapped in blankets Carmila and Annabelle were placed gently in their father's arms, his heart swelled with love he couldn't explain.
Vincent looked up to the twin's mother with a big smile but then the horror shocked his body as he witnessed the scene in front of him.
As days turned into weeks and weeks into years, Vincent could never let go of the secrets that surrounded his daughters and the secret about their mother that he swore to take with him to the grave. Born into a world where danger lurked around every corner and their very existence threatened the fragile web of lies spun by secrecy and power.
Since the birth of the twins, Vincent diligently molded them to be the successors of his empire. From early childhood, they underwent rigorous training for their future roles. By the tender age of six, the twins possessed the skills to overpower anyone who stood in their way.
Vincent ensured that the twins received comprehensive training in various essential skills. This included proficiency in firearms, making them expert marksmen within the family. Additionally, they mastered swordsmanship and excelled in martial arts. Their exceptional skill recognized by their instructors, they have been trained for combat, negotiations, and survival. Vincent left no stone unturned in their training, ensuring that they were well-rounded and equipped to handle any challenge that may come their way. The young sisters were taught all the ways of the criminal underworld while striving to preserve their innocence.
Despite their remarkable skills, Mila and Anna expressed a different desire for their futures. Both twins craved for lives beyond the shadows of their father's empire, lacking any interest in inheriting their father's family business or even caring about the prophecy.
Since the rumors of the prophecy lingered, Vincent, known for his ruthless reputation, grappled with the burning parental love that ignite within him. While he provided them with everything they needed and want he even made sure to handpick they're to-be husbands himself and had everything planned for their future.... well so he thought, little did he know that the one he trusted the most was the one lurking in the darkness and up until this day the truth of Carmila and Annabelle remained locked away as their journey just began that night the warehouse blew up with them still on the premises and Alfonso Carmelo that broke his engagement to Mila.
BACK TO THE PRESENT...
Vincent lost in his thoughts, muttered. "I just hope they never find out about the Ghost,"
"Daddy, are you okay, you've been standing here for a long time. "What did you say? Did you see a ghost?" Anna asked curiously and concerned, bringing Vincent back to the present.
He sighed, shaken from his thoughts, and turned around looked at the twins. "It's nothing I just want you two to know that I love you very much and whatever happens in the future I will always love you." He reassured them.
"Okay, but let's get back to our original problem, now, Anna give me detailed information about what happened at the warehouse and why you were still there when the bomb went off. That wasn't my instruction, and you were willfully disobedient." Vincent pressed for answers.
Both Mila and Anna exchanged bewildered glances, and Anna signaling silently at Mila, "Your turn."
