Chapter 11 - Chapter Eleven:Happy moments

Isabella

Alex shouldn't have wasted such a great lemonade because now we're both drunk on the patio and laughing our asses of.

Well me mostly, Alex hasn't changed his expression that much

"It was one time." Alex grumbled and I still couldn't stop laughing.

"You are one crazy person" I said

"And you're a walking ball of trouble." He replied.

"That's not true, I'm just a bundle of sunshine." I said too cheerfully, clapping excitedly.

"Anyone who thinks that is in for a surprise." He said dryly.

"Tell am more please." I begged, still laughing a bit.

"There was another time.." He started and I was already grinning from ear to ear.

"Pranked a senior that the principal summoned him and when he got to his office.." He paused dramatically, a sliver of a smile on his face.

"Oh God." I muttered.

"Caught the principal banging his mom and he wasn't alone." He said. I burst out laughing, a parent and the principal banging, now that's something to watch.

"But of course he didn't appreciate my tip and ended up beating the crap out of me." He said.

I shook with laughter. "That guy was a sadist." I said.

"Your turn." Alex said and I started thinking of all the wicked things I did back in high school.

"Well I changed school five times." I admitted. Alex rolled his eyes like he wasn't surprised.

"Well I usually blew up science experiments in the faces of people as fun." I said.

"Anyone died?" He asked warily

"Nah just a broken skin or rash" I shrugged.

"Good it means I'm not dying yet." Alex smirked.

"Don't count your eggs before they hatch psycho, I could kill you." I said.

Challenge danced briefly in his eyes. "I'd like to see you try." He said smugly.

"I just poisoned your drink." I said seriously. Alex spat out the drink faster than I'd anticipated and glared at me.

I blinked innocently. "What?" I asked sweetly.

"You're evil" he said.

I placed a hand over my heart and sighed sadly. "Your words wound me." I said.

"Good to know." He said.

I stared wide eyed. "Not even a sorry?" I asked

"Nope."

I shook my head with a smile. I don't need his apology, just wanted to rile him up a bit and it's pretty obvious I failed.

Oh my gosh.

Realisation dawned on me fast. Since Alex and I got married, it's the first time I'm really happy. Around him.

What the hell is happening?

I'm not tense or worried as usual instead I feel .....lightheaded.

Maybe it's just the alcohol in my system.

And at that time, Alex decided to speak.

"We should do this more often." He drawled. I snorted and glanced at him.

"What, you like my company now?" I asked.

He shrugged. "No but it's better than fighting." He said and I sighed positively, knowing he's right.

Problem, I don't want to _be_ around Alex like this and end up doing something stupid.

Have you seen the man in question. He's like a walking greek god with the muscles of a caveman.

I'm just going shut down my thoughts and not think of how hot he is.

I finished my third drink, grateful as Alex refilled my glass.

"You are right." I can't believe I'm siding with him on this.

Alex smirked through his glass. "I'm always right, little one." He said so smugly that I wanted to wipe off that expression off his face badly.

"I should just shut up or out else your ego is going to grow bigger that it already is." I muttered.

"I heard that." He said

I glared playfully at him. "You were meant to." I said.

I stretched out a hand in towards him with a lazy smile. "Shake on it?" I asked with an arched brow.

"I've got a better idea." He said seriously.

"Wha-" Alex silenced me with a kiss.

Alex fucking kissed me, and the scary part was that I kissed him back. I can practically see Will glaring at me for this, but as much as my mind at me screaming at me to do something, my body seems to have the upper part in this situation.

I really need a doctor's appointment right fucking now but for now I'm just going to focus on this beautiful moment.

Hell, I'm not even thinking straight because all that I can concentrate on is Alex's mouth on mine and boy is he a good kisser.

Alex's hand held the back of my head as he devoured my mouth. Well we were acting like starved adults actually.

I held on to Alex by his neck and kissed him hard that I nearly ran out of breath. Not to mention the weird feeling in my stomach.

The last thing I want is to fall for him.

We broke apart, breaths shallow and lips swollen with glazed eyes.

Fucking hell.

He pulled me closer and held my waist.

"Anche nel mio momento piu biuo, penso a te. Cosa mi stai facendo, Piccola?" He asked in fluent Italian that I never knew he had and God help me cause I wanna hear it again.

I cocked my head to the side like I was studying him.

"Can I know what that means?" I asked. I'm half Italian, but I don't know shit about it.

Alex smirked. "No."

"You're not fair." I pouted.

"You should nice to me considering the fact that my tongue was just down that throat of yours seconds ago." He said.

Heat scorched my cheeks. Who is he and what has he done with Alex?

This time I was the one who kissed him. I think I like this new Alex.

"What the fuck, gosh PDA people. Get a damn room you two." Someone grumbled behind us. I jumped at the sudden intrusion and thankfully, Alex's grip on my waist, held me in place.

I turned around and noticed Leo in the kitchen, moving around.

"What's he doing?" I asked.

"Eating at the wrong time." Alex said.

Leo emerged from the kitchen with a bag of chips and two beers.

"Normally I like to have my midnight snack here but you two have decided to ruin my perfect scenery." He frowned.

"This is my house remember?" Alex said.

"Yeah I know that. But it doesn't mean you can just fuck your wife wherever you want and it could have been Rena that walked in." He said.

"We weren't fucking." I interjected.

The chips crumpled under his arm. "But your faces were and how the hell are you still fine like that?" Leo asked, pouring downwards.

My eyes widened as I looked down.

How the hell did I get here. I'm literally sitting in his lap.

I tried to get off him but Alex was still holding on to me.

"Alex let go." I whispered.

"Alex." I hissed but he just smirked like Leo wasn't standing a few feet from us.

"I'm just gonna go before my eyes bleed out." Leo said and walked away.

"Why don't you listen?" I asked, swatting his arm playfully once I was able to free myself from his grip.

I have took a big gulp of my drink. "Where's the fun in that, I like seeing you go all red and adorable." He teased.

And that's my cue to turn red again. "See, just like that." He said.

A familiar pain jolted up my arm, reminding me that my arm's still broken.

"Come on, let's go to sleep." He said, getting on his feet.

I finished my drink and stretched my hand out to him so he could help me up but instead he just crouched down in front of me, arms snaking underneath my legs and back.

"What are you doing?" I laughed when he picked me up.

"Stop talking would you?" He grumbled as he climbed the stairs.

"I will if you put me down." I said unable to stop laughing for some unknown reason. Alex eventually put me down once we reached the room and because I was already wasted, I had to hurry up and change clothes before settling down on my side of the bed.

"Good night." I yawned softly when Alex laid next to me.

He scooted closer, making sure there was no space between us.

"Good night little one." He rumbled.

I think I like this new change. I just hope it stays that way.

*"Anche nel mio momento piu biuo, penso a te. Cosa mi stai facendo, Piccola?" - means

Even in my darkest hour, I think of you. What are you doing to me, little one?"
