Ava's POV:
So I picked it up and noticed a photo of me was on his home screen. "Don't focus on this." I ignored it and walked to his call log and dialed Cynthia's contact, which soon got connected.
"Hello, Mr. Earlton," Cynthia said.
"It's me; can you please get me after pills?Please and get it delivered to me; will send you the address soon," I said, and Cynthia agreed at once before I sighed heavily and turned to find Yan behind me.
"Uhm..." I jolted in fear as I wasn't expecting him to be in the bedroom, and did he get my conversation with Cynthia?
Yan took a few steps closer, and I got nervous—really nervous as I kept taking equal steps backward. I also tied the bathrobe properly so it wouldn't expose any skin.
"Are you done with the phone call? I will need my phone," he said with his hand extended towards me. I stared at the phone for a while and didn't want to hand it over as I hadn't sent Cynthia my address yet.
