Ava's POV:
Cynthia and I were busy making dinner while Grandpa watched a movie with the kids, who all looked intimidated.
"That man is so grumpy; can you imagine he asked me to leave early tomorrow morning and go find a job?" Cynthia pouted, and I burst out in laughter; he was right though.
"Did Mike say when Grandpa was leaving?" I asked, and she shook her head in denial. I sighed heavily. Guess I was stuck with my grandpa till I don't know when.
We were finally done with dinner and sat around the table having a quiet yet tense meal. My gaze moved to Grandpa, who wasn't eating, and I nudged at Cynthia, who shrugged her shoulders.
"Uhm, grandpa… Don't you like it?" I asked curiously, and he checked his watch.
"Call the man who has these kids," he spouted, and I raised a brow. What did he mean by that?
"Grandpa…."
"Tell him to come see me right now," he cut me off, and the fact that he had a very serious tone made me anxious.
