Toji opened his eyes and finds himself in a white bright room. Next to him, he found a heart monitor and and I.V. drip connected to his arm. A hospital, he thought to himself. He listened closely and heard the people shuffling outside his room. Most likely the people working here. He sat from his bed and, immediately, a migraine pulsed in his head.
The last thing he remembered was his fight against the white haired bastard from the Gojo Clan. He remembered that brilliant purple light that pierced through his chest and his final wish for his son's safety. Toji sighed, only now remembering his son. How long had it been since he last saw the boy. What would his wife say to him. Toji sighed again.
Suddenly, he heard the doorknob turn. A nurse holding a clipboard walked in only to find an empty bed and an open window.

Toji walked the dark streets alone. After escaping the hospital, the first thing he did was beat up the first mugger who held a knife to him. He broke the man's arm before he took his clothes. Toji explored the place as he tried to figure out where he was. 'Gotham City' said a woman living on streets when he asked her. And from the way she spoke, Toji could guess it was probably east of the U.S.
However, he couldn't remember if there was any place in the west called Gotham City. Seeing how crime-ridden the place was, he would have already come here for a vacation.
He saw a nearby display TV and watched the news. In it, he watched a woman reporter about a fire and the appearance of someone called Superman. He was shocked to see the man flying as he carried people to safety. Did something happen, he thought. Are the knowledge of sorcerers made to the public. But his shock turned to hatred when he saw the man hovering over the people as they raised their hands to touch him. In the end, nothing's really changed. Us monkeys still bow our heads to the damn sorcerers. One of these days, I'll make sure to pull you all down to my level.
None of it mattered in the end. He was here now and he needed some money. He felt his insides and sensed the small meaty ball inside. He pushed a nerve on his belly which forced him to vomit the thing. The small fleshy ball unfurled itself in his hand until it turned into a human-faced caterpillar much larger than his arm. It wrapped itself around him which made the man smile. Toji put his hand in its mouth and reached into its stomach where he felt his arsenal still inside.
Now, all I need now is to find a job, he thought to himself. However, he wasn't sure if his contract broker was still around. With all the fiasco he did at Jujutsu High, the man would have most likely hidden himself already. It would seem like he'd have to find a job himself.

Penguin calmly sat in his office while he listened to his men get beat up on the other side of his doors. As he heard the last of his men fall, the crime lord readied himself for what was about to come. The doors broke open and a tall Asian man walked in. The man looked at him and smiled. 'So-' said the man. 'I heard you were having some people problems. Just so happens that I'm looking for work'.

Nightwing looked down on the streets from his position on the roof. He saw his target, Marcus, was being driven in a heavy police vehicle along with an escort of three other police cars before and after it. 'Eyes open. Target is passing through', he said as he tapped on his earpiece.
'Things look good on this side', said Batgirl on the other side of the comms.
'So, Batgirl', said Nightwing nervously. 'About last night, I just wanna say-'.
'Focus', said a third voice, much gruffer than two. 'Your social lives can wait. Right now, we have to make sure Marcus gets to court. Knowing the Penguin, he's already set up a plan to string him out'.
Nightwing sighed. Even when he was on the other side of the city, Batman still managed to ruin his ways with the ladies.
'Everyone, be ready. I see something', said Batman.
Nightwing readied to go to Batman's location but then he a man standing in the alley, looking the the passing vehicles. Then he noticed something wrapped around the man's body. He jumped to get a closer look. When he got closer, the man had already pulled out an RPG and was aiming it the armored vehicle. Nightwing pounced at him and managed disrupt his aim. However, the weapon still fired, blowing up the police car in front. 'Damn nosy bastards', he heard the man say.
'Trouble is here. Group up on my location', said Nightwing, his finger on the earpiece. The hero raised his batons and swung it at the criminal. The man dodged the first strike and caught the second one. Nightwing threw a kick but the man easily blocked it with his shin. Then, the man caught his arm and threw Nightwing to the wall. The hero spat some blood and stood up, ready for another round. Somehow, the man was now holding a weapon, a large blade with fur wrapped around the crossguard. The criminal then raised raised his hand and gestured Nightwing to attack.
'Who are you?', yelled Nightwing.
'Just a monkey wanting to prove a point', answered the criminal.
Nightwing swung his baton again, now aiming for the man's head who then blocked it with his blade. The two traded blows, blocking the other one's attack while sending out their own. The hero tried to sweep his legs but the man easily leapt over the attack. Then, Nightwing noticed the man smile. The man kicked him in the chest and was suddenly aiming a gun at him. Nightwing jumped to the side as the man pulled the trigger. The hero screamed, feeling the pain envelop shoulder.
Nightwing was afraid the man was about to finish the job. But when he looked, his enemy had already disappeared. Eventually, the pain grew to great that it knocked him out.
