After work, as I headed down and all the way outside, I found Percy waiting for me as he promised.
He smiled at me as I walked up to his car where he stood.
"Would you like to eat outside before going home?" He asked.
"Sure, I don't mind."
Opening the back door, he gestured for me to go in first before he followed.
When we were seated properly, his driver drove off and I stared out the window in silence, thinking about Jacob.
I am still afraid of him and if I come across him again I don't know how it's going to end, especially if I refuse to be with him.
It had been an excruciating process of letting go of him even after facing all that from his hands and I didn't want to relive it.
I absentmindedly touched my ring finger where I had put his ring on because I believed we would actually get married until I ran away.
"No, I can't relive that."
"What?"
