"What's going on?" Arleen inquired and Leah faced her while Clifford sighed as he kept staring at her.
Did she do something? I wondered to myself.
"Leah was abducted but now she's found," he summarized it but it only made me more worried and terrified that she had been kidnapped.
"Leah? Are you alright?" I worriedly asked as I observed her closely.
"I am," she said in a low voice meaning she wasn't.
"Who abducted you?" Arleen asked as she went to sit beside her in pure concern.
"I'll tell you while we're in the car, Arle, just let her be for now," Clifford said and it bothered me that he didn't want to say it in my presence.
"Are you alright?" Arleen asked another question and she shook her head.
At that, I became annoyed and wanted to see who actually did that to her.
"How did you know she was abducted?" I directed my question to Clifford.
