"Mom!"
Elise's eyes trembled as she saw her mother make her way in the room as silence began to ring in her ears, causing Elise a headache. "Ugh!" Elise moaned in pain as she gripped her hair, making Niena's steps quicken.
"Baby! What happened? Are you okay?" Her worried voice rang in the room as Dietrich moved away from Elise, giving up his spot for Niena.
A sharp pain made Dietrich's chest contradict, but his expression didn't change a bit. The pain stayed buried deep down inside him. Niena was Elise's mom. Then, why did he feel uncomfortable giving up his spot for her. Why did he feel so uncomfortable leaving Elise around anyone?
Am I being too controlling?
"I'm fine, Mom. Just a sudden headache."
