The next day dawned with a crisp, cool breeze sweeping through the Uchiha compound. Miyuki woke up early, her body aching from the previous night's intense practice. She stretched and glanced over at Itachi, who was still asleep. 'I have to get a head start,' she thought, slipping out of bed quietly.
Miyuki made her way to the training grounds, the morning sun casting long shadows across the grass. She picked up a shuriken and began practicing, her movements precise and controlled. Each throw was a testament to her determination to stay ahead of Itachi.
As the sun climbed higher, Itachi joined her on the training grounds. He looked refreshed and ready for another day of practice. "Good morning, Miyuki," he greeted her with a small smile.
"Morning, Itachi," Miyuki replied, masking her exhaustion with a determined expression. "Let's get started."
The twins resumed their practice, each throw becoming more accurate and controlled. Itachi's natural talent was evident, but Miyuki's relentless practice last night kept her ahead.
After a few hours, Itachi suggested a break. "Miyuki, let's take a short rest," he said, his voice calm but firm. "We don't want to overexert ourselves."
Miyuki nodded, though her mind was already racing with thoughts of how to improve. 'I can't let him catch up,' she thought. 'I need to keep pushing myself.'
As they sat in the shade, they heard the sound of shuriken hitting targets nearby. Curious, they followed the noise and found Shisui practicing in a secluded part of the training grounds. His movements were fluid and precise, each shuriken hitting the target dead center.
"Shisui-nii-san!" Itachi called out, his eyes lighting up with admiration.
Shisui turned and smiled warmly at the twins. "Itachi, Miyuki! What are you two doing here so early?"
"We've been practicing," Miyuki replied, trying to hide her exhaustion. "We wanted to get better at shuriken throwing."
Shisui nodded approvingly. "That's great to hear. Hard work and dedication are key to becoming strong ninja. Do you want to join me for a bit?"
Itachi and Miyuki exchanged excited glances. "Hn" they said in unison.
Shisui demonstrated some advanced shuriken techniques, his movements smooth and effortless. "Watch closely," he instructed. "It's all about precision and control."
The twins watched intently; their eyes fixed on Shisui's hands. He threw multiple shuriken at once. Miyuki watched in wonder as the shuriken collided with eachother in the air before each one hit a different target dead center. "This is the Uchiha Style Shuriken Throwing Technique," he explained. "It's a bit advanced, but with practice, you can master it too."
Itachi and Miyuki tried to mimic Shisui's movements, but they were struggling to even make the shuriken collide at all. Shisui offered tips and encouragement, but the twins weren't even able to get started on this technique.
'It's too difficult to throw multiple shuriken at once let alone do it so precicely that they collide in the air and accuretly redirect eachother!' Miyuki was internally screaming but kept up with the practice anyway. 'If i can succeed i'll definitely be better than Itachi for a while.'
After a while, Shisui suggested they take another break. "You both are doing great," he said, his voice filled with pride. "But remember, it's important to rest and not overexert yourselves."
Miyuki nodded, her eyes shining with determination.
"Thank you, Shisui-nii-san," said Itachi.
As they sat down to rest, Shisui turned to Miyuki. "I've noticed your throws are very precise," he said. "You've been practicing a lot, haven't you?"
Miyuki felt a surge of pride but quickly masked it. "Yes, I've been practicing every chance I get," she admitted.
Shisui smiled. "That's the spirit. Keep up the hard work, and you'll become a great ninja."
Miyuki's resolve only strengthened. 'I have to get stronger,' she thought. 'Otherwise Shisui-nii will die too.'
As the sun began to set, Shisui stood up. "I have to go now but keep practicing. You're both doing amazing."
Itachi and Miyuki watched as Shisui walked away, their hearts filled with admiration and determination. "I'm going to keep practicing, Itachi," Miyuki suggested. "I can get better even without Shisui-nii-san's guidance.
Itachi nodded, his eyes reflecting the same determination. "I'll join you, Miyuki."
The twins resumed their practice, their movements synchronized as they threw shuriken after shuriken. The training grounds echoed with the sound of metal hitting targets, a testament to their relentless effort.
As the evening wore on, Miyuki felt her exhaustion creeping back. Her throws became less precise, and her arms ached with every movement. Itachi noticed and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Miyuki, we should stop for today. You've pushed yourself enough."
Miyuki shook her head, her eyes filled with stubborn determination. "Just a little more, Itachi. You can go back if you want."
Itachi sighed but didn't argue. They both continued practicing until the sky turned dark, the stars beginning to twinkle above them.
Finally, Miyuki's body gave in. She dropped to her knees, panting heavily. Itachi knelt beside her, offering her a water bottle. "You did great today, Miyuki. Let's call it a night."
Miyuki took the bottle, her hands trembling. "Thank you, Itachi."
Itachi smiled gently. "Hn"
The twins made their way back to the compound, their steps slow and weary. As they reached their home, they were greeted by their mother, Mikoto, who looked at them with concern. "You two look exhausted. Have you been training all day?"
Miyuki nodded, her eyes barely staying open. "Yes, mother. We've been practicing with Shisui-nii-san."
Mikoto smiled warmly. "I'm proud of you both but remember to take care of yourselves. Rest is just as important as training."
The twins nodded and headed to their rooms. As Miyuki lay in bed, her body aching, she couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. She had pushed herself to her limits, and she knew she was getting stronger.
The next morning, Miyuki woke up with a renewed sense of determination. She glanced over at Itachi, who was already awake and stretching. "Ready for another day of training?" he asked with a smile.
Miyuki nodded, her eyes shining with resolve. "Always. But I think you should sit today out."
"What why is that?" Itachi asked confusion etched onto his face.
"Oh, you didn't hear? Apparently Shisui wants to take you somewhere for 'special practice' in the evening. You need to be in your best condition to not need to finish early." Miyuki said with a slight smirk forming on her lips.
"Really?! Shisui is going to give me special training? Alright then I'll stay home today and wait. See you tonight, Miyuki!" Itachi was very excited and waved at Miyuki as she left the room.
'Heh it's too easy to fool that Shisui-nii obsessed brat.'
