FIONA
Fiona? Fiona?? Fiona???
"If you can hear me, just try to blink those eyes," I heard that voice whisper in my ears.
At first I thought I had gone back to the Moon World, a place where dead wolves rest.
Why would I even think that?
I am just a wolfless Omega. I wonder if there is a place for people like me..
Maybe we would just be sent to some sort of pithole like the dungeon.
Just while I wallow in my semi-conscious state, I heard that voice come at me again, "Fiona, you need to open those eyes. I need you to be strong."
It was tough for me to. I struggled but that voice kept pushing to make the extra move.
Not like I had a mother or a father who would be waiting for me outside the darkness I find myself.
My blurry vision was a lot to battle with as I tried to make out who was standing in front of me.
Last thing I remember was being thrown into the dungeon.
Everywhere was feint and making sense of the environment proved to be much of a task as I struggle to keep my eyes open.
Next I heard were the sounds of machines around and other voices started evading my eardrums.
Finally, I woke up to see a woman whose face look cool and her gaze was fixated at me.
It was like she was waiting for me to open my eyes.
I remembered the voice I heard. It wasn't wasn't voice of a woman so I kept looking around to see not until the lady spoke.
"Hello, Fiona. Finally, you are awake. I have been trying to get you back to us," she said.
I couldn't move my legs. "How would you even think of attacking the Luna?"
"You caused this upon yourself," she added.
It was at this point I remembered I was about to be thrown into the dungeon when I passed out.
"Madam Barbara?" I stammered.
"Trust me, she is the last person you want to see. Did you try to kill the Alpha too?" She asked.
"Uhn? Ryan?"
I don't understand. The same guy I have crushed on my entire life and even did me the worst situation by rejecting in front of everyone.
Even though I hate him at the moment, it was not the extent of killing him.
Where would I find such strength to carry such such evil plot?"
"Are you asking me?"
"Are you even aware of the situation at hand?" She said.
"Uhn?"
What situation is she talking about?
"But who is this woman and does she even know so much?" I thought.
Suddenly, a young boy stormed into the room, trying to catch his breath.
"What is it? Speak!" The woman said to the young boy.
"Luna Sabrina is on her way here!" The boy whispered.
Sabrina. Hearing her name again brought a lot of worries. That girl is trouble and she only wants to see me dead and gone.
"You need to find somewhere to go. If you continue to be here, believe me you will end up dead," the woman warned.
She helped me up to my feet and took me to a basement in the other room.
"It leads into the woods. Fins your way from there, Fiona."
I couldn't even say too much. My lungs were too weak to say a lot of words.
I nodded in response and went off.
****
Getting into the woods, I leaped as I ran for my life.
My eyes became teary all of a sudden as I looked back. I have now become a castaway for an offence I never committed.
Days and nights, I strolled through the woods in search of shelter and wondering how I even survived the first night.
I suddenly heard a snap in the branches of the trees. "Who is there?" I screamed all of a sudden.
I took few steps into the woods and I heard those snaps again. "Who is that?" I shouted again and no response still.
This time around,I became frightened. What if Sabrina'smen had caught up to me or perhaps this is Ryan trying to finish me off after everything?
How would I even defend myself?
In the blink of an eye, I saw a big black wolf appear in front of me and pushed me to the floor.
Just before I could turn to run, I saw others surrounding me.
It was a trap and I was their prey. "Death has finally got to you, Fiona," I muttered in my head.
One of them was in its human form. He had spiky hair and his whole body was covered in wild tattoos. He looked really dangerous and fierce.
I saw him smelling the air like there was a strange scent he couldn't make sense of.
"You are not human yet you don't have the scent of a wolf," he said and laughed.
"You will make a sweet meal, empty skin," he added.
Empty skin? That was the first tike I was hearing such. Is that what they call people like me, wolfless?
It was at this point I saw his teeth fangs. "It better not be."
I only know it was a myth, the existence of vampire werewolves. Kush had once told me their story and rumors of them lurking in the woods waiting to devour other wolves like themselves.
"Shit!!"
He smirked. "What pack do you hail from, meat?"
I couldn't answer. I could be qolfless but that doesn't make me foolish. Vampire wolves were hunters and if I let him know where my pack was , they could invade our territory.
I shrugged and looked away. My heart raced but I made up my mind not to respond.
"So be it then. Vegas?" He called to the other wolf whose teeth were all out and saliva dripping from its mouth like
it was ready to pounce on me.
"Finish her off!" He instructed
