Chapter 7 - chapter 7

Fiona's pov

I woke up to the sound of my stomach growling, and the aroma of food wafting through the air. I sat up, rubbing my eyes, to see a tray of steaming hot food on the bedside table. Sebastian must have sent it, I thought, feeling a pang of gratitude.

As I ate, my mind wandered back to the events of the day. The pregnancy, Rachel's warning, and Sebastian's kindness. I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was living a lie. How long could I keep this secret hidden?

Just as I finished eating, there was a knock on the door. "Come in," I called out.

Sebastian walked in, a concerned look on his face. "How are you feeling?" he asked, sitting down beside me.

"I'm fine, thanks," I replied, trying to sound cheerful.

"I spoke to Rachel," he said, his eyes searching mine. "I asked her if we could do anything to get your wolf to wake up, but she did not give a definite answer" he put his hands behind me "We'll get through this together, Fiona."

My heart sank. He had no idea what was really going on. I felt like I was betraying his trust.

"Sebastian, I..." I started, but he cut me off.

"No, don't say anything. Just rest and let us handle everything." He smiled reassuringly.

I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and guilt.

As the days passed, Sebastian's kindness and concern only grew. We spent evenings together, talking and laughing. I found myself falling for him, but the weight of my secrets threatened to crush me.

One evening, as we walked in the gardens, Sebastian turned to me. "Fiona, I want to ask you something."

My heart skipped a beat. Was he going to discover my secret?

"What is it?" I asked, trying to sound calm.

"Will you be my guest at the upcoming full moon ceremony?" he asked, his eyes sparkling.

I hesitated, my mind going back to the last time I had attended a ceremony in my formal pack, I looked back at him and responded

"I'd love to," I said, as I pushed out the negative thoughts.

"Great. Normally Rachel follows me to this sort of thing but it won't be bad to switch it up" he said to me.

"I guess it won't be bad to be in the midst of your pack members" I tried to be positive.

"Oh, this is not for the park. The moon ceremony is celebrated across all parks and all Alphas with there Lunas come together to make it a memorable event" Sebastian says and my face was drained from all its colors

"All packs? That means Ryan and Sabrina would be there? I can't face them now" I thought to myself

"I should sit this out, I'm not the one to hang around Alpha's. I'm just a simple wolf"I tried to discourage Sebastian from bringing me.

"A simple wolf that has stolen my heart. You don't have to worry about anything, okay? Beside…. You will be with me throughout the night" he tried to convince me, I breathed out in frustration, knowing that he won't let it go.

"Okay fine, when is the ceremony?" I asked, trying to prepare myself for the drama ahead of me.

"During the full moon, which is just a week from now. We would be leaving on Saturday to be able to get there in time"

We sat down in the chair placed in the garden, as I looked at nature's wonders. Lots of things ran through my mind, I turned to look at Sebastian and our eyes met each other. We stared at each other for a while,

"You are so beautiful Fiona" he pushed my hair to the back of my ears as I blushed at the simple gesture and compliment.

"Thank you" I replied, Sebastian was slowly occupying my heart and it was scary and amazing at the same time.

Just then he bent down and placed a light kiss on my lips. I closed my eyes to savor the taste of his lips but he stopped kissing me.

"Let's go in, the more I'm here with you, the harder it is to control myself…" he said to me, his breathing raspy.

I looked around, the garden was dark, the cool spring breeze blowing through the garden making it a little chilly.

"I guess we should" I stood up and he followed suit. We walked in silence, both in our own thoughts.

Sabrina POV

The blue moon pack is to host the next full moon ceremony for all the packs in the state and as the Luna, it's my duty to make sure everything is in order.

As I walked into the hall with the event planner, ordering and changing things to fit the theme of the event, my right hand maid walked into the hall in a hurry and whispered into my ears.

"Lets go to my chambers" I told her, "keep working. I would be back to check on it" I turned away as my servant followed me behind.

We got to my room, as I sat down in my chair.

"Speak!" I ordered

"We found the location of the banished wolf" she said to me

"Is she dead?" I asked, hoping for good news

"No, my Luna goddess"

"What!" I yelled, that she fell on her knees trembling. "Where is that bitch?"

"She is a pack called the Jupiter pack. According to the rogue leader that we paid to kill her, she was saved by the Alpha of that pack" my maid relayed the information to me as my fist clenched in anger.

"You can go" she left in a hurry. My mind focused on how to get to Fiona. If she or anyone else is to find out about the child she is carrying, then it would threaten my position as Luna.

I won't let that happen. I have to act fast and quickly. Fiona should be dead before the full moon or I can kiss my throne goodbye
