As Wukong heard the potion shatter, he felt his soul seep away from him. Feeling defeated, Wukong leaned his head against the wall and continued to heave. 'Guess I didn't succeed in bringing her back to her world. That's a shame.' Wukong thought, before Judith's soft but now panicked voice interrupted him.
"You have another, right?" Judith had asked.
With a gulp and an ironic grin, he shook his head, unable to muster up the words. What he was feeling was not nice in the slightest. While being consumed by pain, his body began to shut down slowly.
As each function of his body slowly winded down, he felt more and more pain. Because parts of his body that needed the other to function slowly began to die down, causing more pain and the process to repeat.
The organs of the body were cogs working in unison after all. If one was broken, the others were bound to follow. Just like dominos that collapsed by the efforts of just one.
