Atticus drove at the highest speed from the hospital to the station, anger wrecking through him.

While driving, all he could think of was destroying Martins! Everything he had built! And make him regret hurting Kathryna.

Was killing and burning that poor girl's parents not enough? Was raising her as a stripper, making her a mocking stock amongst her peers not enough? Now this?

Atticus's grip on the steering tightened, his heart heavy with thoughts, and hope of Kathryna waking up in time.

Arriving at the station, he pulled over before getting out. Without hesitation, he walked into the station.

"Who did they say ordered them to kidnap my wife?" Atticus asked, his vein almost popping out.

"They confessed that it was Martins. They presented proof which we would use to arrest him," the detective replied calmly.
