Daniel and Hope started heading to the library to inform Michael about Michelle's betrayal. In the dark, two light blue eyes followed them like a snake stalking it's prey. Everything was silent only leaves flying in the air made sound. They reached a park, it was 11pm. No one was awake. The park's fountain was gushing as water poured out occasionally spilling on the ground. Suddenly Hope stopped, Daniel looked at him.
"What's wrong?" He asked Hope who was sweating and panting excessively. He looked scared.
"You don't feel it?" He asked while breathing heavily. Daniel was confused.
"Feel what?" Daniel asked.
"The dark energy. The hellish aura." Hope replied. Daniel shook his head, Hope sighed. "Maybe I'm hallucinating." Hope said as they continued walking, a hiss was heard. On instinct Hope and Daniel activated their rhemas. Suddenly a snake came out, it was light blue with sea-like patterns which were sea green. It's eyes were pure gold. Suddenly a mirthless laugh was heard, a male with dark blue hair and light blue eyes emerged from the dark. His pupils having a striking resemblance to a snake's own.
"Did my pet scare you?" He asked while chuckling. Hope stared at the stranger with daggers in his eyes. He lifted up his sword and pointing it the stranger.
"What do you want?... Leviathan?" Hope snarled, Leviathan laughed as he raised his hands in the air. The snake instantly disappeared.
"Hmph. I just wanted to warn you~ but I don't think dogs like you would understand." Leviathan said while waving his hand, Hope pushed Daniel and himself away from the fountain as water shot from there.The water had frozen when shot out of the fountain turning into pure icicles. Leviathan stared at them with disdain in his eyes and hatred in his voice.
"You're not telling Michael, anything. So long as I'm around." He said as he lunged at them with a glaive in his hand. The glaive was made with pure ice and metal. Hope deflected the attack with his shield as Daniel jumped behind Hope and swung his hammer at Leviathan. Leviathan dodged with ease, and created a huge water wave and started fighting the two of them at once. He was in mid air shooting icicles and water at them, Hope created a barrier and threw his sword which only grazed Leviathan's cheek. Leviathan started bleeding. A rare sight to see, he paused and started laughing hysterically before cleaning the blood of his cheek, he licked the blood. Suddenly the scar started vanishing. He could heal himself.
"I'm so sick and tired of tasting my blood....." He whined before suddenly throwing an icicle at Daniel which stabbed him straight in his arm, Daniel felt the sharp pain in his left arm and cold blood spilling out, oozing out of his body and being soaked in by his white hoodie. Leviathan suddenly turned his hand in a 360 angle, Daniel's blood turned into pure solid and he was pulled to Leviathan who was staring at him with bloodlust in his eyes.
"I want to taste human blood." He declared, Hope resummoned his sword as Daniel's life started to drain, the frozen blood stabbing him at different parts of his body and also freezing there. Hope knew what Leviathan was doing, he was planning to kill Daniel before drinking his blood. His primary rhema wouldn't be able to stop him. He had to use his secondary rhema. He raised his hand in the air aiming at Leviathan.
"Revelations 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." Hope shouted loud enough for Leviathan to hear. Leviathan sighed before looking at Daniel who had already passed out.
"Shit. I finally thought I got a five star meal~ Catch!" Leviathan said while dropping Daniel, at that exact moment a beam came from Hope's palm, Leviathan instantly teleported away and Hope caught Daniel in the arms and carried him to the library. He started knocking on the door. No one answered, he confused but continued walking. Still no response. Hope checked Daniel's pulse, he had stopped breathing. Hope started banging on the door. Annoyed and desperate to save Daniel he crashed into the door, hitting his head and fainting. The last thing he saw was Raphael and Michael. He looked at Raphael and whispered.
"You've got to save him."
Then Hope closed his eyes.
