Belphagor took Michelle back to Hell, the atmosphere was tense and Belphagor wasn't that happy.
"I'm sorry. It's my fault." Michelle apologized while bowing her head down and walking behind him. "I should have been more alert." She added with regret in her voice. Belphagor looked at her, he lifted up her chin to meet his gaze. She blushed as she stared straight into her eyes, Belphagor liked seeing her flustered like that, it reminded him of someone else. An angel actually, she was tearing up.
"I'm so stupid. Something told me that I was being followed but I didn't listen. I-" She was cut short by Belphagor who put his finger on her soft lips.
"It's not your fault. How would you know it would be them who were following you? Anyone could have thought otherwise." He told her. Michelle felt hot tears pouring from her eyes, they kept coming even when Belphagor cleaned them off. He pulled her into a hug and patted her head, his fingers playing with her hair.
"It's okay. It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself." He said while she cried. After some time she calmed down and they continued to walk down the hall.
"Belphagor. I have a question." Michelle said to Belphagor's confusion.
"Yea, what is it?" He asked her.
"When I encountered Hope, he told me dark magic doesn't work on his Rhema: Pslam 109. Why is that?" She asked him. Belphagor thought for a while. Before chuckling, amusement in his eyes.
"The cursed rhema. He's immune to dark magic because that rhema is cursed." Belphagor explained but Michelle looked confused.
"If you read Pslam 109, you'll realise it's a curse written by David against his enemies and those who wish evil against him. So it's a curse. And curses on its own can have a tiny amount of dark magic in them depending on how powerful the curse is. And like it's nickname suggests: It is one of the most powerful curses in any holy book." Belphagor explained to her as she nodded her head in understanding.
"So.... there's no way to defeat him." She asked him.
"Unless you use a twisted rhema." He explained. Michelle was shocked, there were original and twisted rhemas.
"Please explain." She said.
"Twisted Rhemas unlike Normal Rhemas use Fear to become stronger than ever. The more a person fears the rhema the powerful it becomes. Another thing is that it sounds how do I say it: Blasphemous and heretical. It twists the Bible's word to befit the Devil." Belphagor said. Michelle liked the idea of still having a rhema but with more power. She looked at him with the lust of power in her eyes.
"How do I get one." She asked, Belphagor looked at her with this look, suddenly he pushed her to a wall and pulled her close to his chest, leaving no personal space, their faces where just inches apart.
"You would have to do something very bad~" he told her while he's hand traced around her waist. She looked at him and grinned.
" I'll do anything." She replied while looking him straight in the eye. He smirked.
"That's good to know"
