I reached out to Norlin, asking him to rally everyone at the club for a meeting. We were brainstorming ideas for a short film and some hilarious videos. "How about we head to Thane and pull a prank on some unsuspecting folks?" Norlin suggested. "Sounds awesome, let's do it!" Sohan chimed in, and we all erupted in cheers, "Yay, let's go!" In an instant, we dashed out of the house, hopped on our bikes, and the energy in the air became electric.
My eyes flew open, and a wave of dread washed over me. "RESULT'S DAY!" echoed in my thoughts as I dashed to the bathroom, splashing water on my face to shake off the anxiety. After a quick shower, I slipped into my favorite outfit, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, and made my way to the hall for breakfast. "Today is going to be something different," I reassured myself, quickly finishing my meal before grabbing my bag and heading to class. Three long hours later, the classes wrapped up, but the tension among my friends was palpable. We were all consumed by thoughts of our impending results, the air thick with unease. It was a feeling unlike any we had experienced before, all stemming from the uncertainty of what the day would bring. With our minds racing, we returned home, and by noon, we gathered with our parents to head to college, the weight of anticipation heavy on our shoulders. When we reached we all were exited and scared at same time. Walking slowly and waiting for the time to pass and reach class late so that professor doesn't show us our results. We reached the class and I said to professor, "Roll no. 10" and she gave us the results and to my surprise I did really well and I didn't except that I would score A grade. A big dazzling smile appeared on my face and I was happy and my parents where happy too as I got A grade and I ranked 10th in my class same as my roll number.
Hey man, what did you get?" I asked Sohan, curiosity bubbling over. "Well, I managed to snag a B grade, and honestly, I'm pretty stoked about it," he replied, a grin spreading across his face. At least he didn't bomb the exam. I checked in with a few other friends, and they all reported solid grades too. Only a couple of guys, the ones who never seemed to pay attention in class, ended up failing. After wrapping up the call, I rallied my friends to meet up for a celebration. We all convened around 4 PM and headed to a bar to let loose. We enjoyed some red wine, danced like there was no tomorrow, and even mingled with a few senior girls who were also in high spirits. After a fun-filled evening, we made our way home, freshening up with a splash of water and a quick gargle to avoid any trouble.
A brand new day dawned, the sun casting its golden rays as the cheerful chirping of birds filled the air, instantly brightening my mood. I made my way to the kitchen, savoring a delicious breakfast before gearing up for another round of the same old routine—Study + College + Study, a cycle that felt all too familiar. Classes unfolded as expected, and I immersed myself in the lessons, followed by some quality time with friends at college. By 5 PM, I finally returned home, ready to unwind. As I entered, I found my mom bustling about with her household chores. Suddenly, she announced, "We're going on a trip to Indonesia next year because of your dad's business commitments." "Wow, really, Mom?" I exclaimed, nearly leaping onto the table in excitement. "Get down before you hurt yourself!" she shouted, half-amused, half-concerned. "We'll be leaving on April 5th, so make sure to hand over all your documents to your dad for your passport application," she instructed. With my mind racing with excitement, I headed off to my classes, anticipation bubbling within me.
Time flew by in a blur, and before we knew it, the day for our journey to Indonesia was upon us. With just a week to go, we busily prepared for the adventure ahead.
