Chapter 45 - Chapter 48 : Cultivators

As Qing Yu entered the sect, Kane didn't follow her. Instead, he went to his room to prepare for the next day. Qing Yu, meanwhile, entered her assigned room and removed her cloak, revealing her true identity - Zhao Min.

She couldn't help but think about her situation. "How did I end up becoming a disciple of an unnamed sect?" she wondered. "And why is this sect unnamed, anyway?" She shook her head, chuckling wryly. "I'm safe for now, but if the Zhang Clan finds out I'm here, this sect will be destroyed by them. But why should I care?"

The next day, Jang Ran came running towards Kane, his belly moving with each step. "Disciple greets Elder Fang Lin!" he exclaimed, bowing deeply.

Kane raised an eyebrow, feeling a hint of annoyance at the title. "Elder? It makes me feel old," he thought. He looked at Jang Ran and said, "You have a junior sister now. She joined after you joined us."

Jang Ran's eyes widened in surprise. "Junior sister?" he repeated, his mind racing with possibilities. Suddenly, a scenario flashed through his mind - he was married to Zhao Min, and they had kids together. "Senior Brother Jang Ran, Junior Sister Zhao Min, where are the kids?" he thought, chuckling to himself.

Just then, Zhao Min appeared, bowing deeply. "Qing Yu greets Elder Fang Lin," she said, her voice demure.

Jang Ran's eyes locked onto her, his mind still reeling from the scenario he had imagined. He felt a flutter in his chest, and his face grew hot. "Junior Sister Zhao Min," he thought, "she's so beautiful."

Kane observed the exchange, a hint of amusement on his face. "It seems we have a new dynamic in the sect," he thought. "Let's see how this plays out."

As I looked at both of them, I couldn't help but think about the conventional methods of ki cultivation. Many people relied on their meridians, but I had something better in mind. I chuckled to myself, knowing that my Life Essence Technique would revolutionize the way they thought about cultivation.

"Today is the day," I announced, my eyes locked on both of them. "Your destinies will change forever."

I knew that many people without suitable meridians or with low-grade ones were rejected by sects and forced to live as mortals. But I had created a spatial technique that would remove all these obstacles. I called it the Immortal Technique of the Crushed King.

Zhao Min raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "What a useless name," she thought, looking at me with disappointment.

But when she glanced at Jang Ran, she saw his eyes glowing with enthusiasm. She felt a wave of disgust wash over her. How could he be so excited about something that sounded so ridiculous?

I approached Zhao Min, asking, "May I touch your hand?" She hesitated for a moment before offering her hand. As soon as I made contact, I was shocked. But I dismissed the feeling and moved on to Jang Ran, asking for his hand as well.

Returning to my seat, I told them, "Your blocked meridians are completely useless." My words pierced their hearts like cold spears.

But I continued, "If you learn the Technique of the Crushed King, you will become real cultivators." I could see the skepticism in their eyes, but I knew that I held the key to their true potential.
