Chapter 45 - Chapter 45

"Hey, man, having three girls all to yourself seems like a waste. How about letting two of them come with us?" Zhang Zheng looked at the two obnoxious thugs who had walked up to his table. He saw a bit of the old Liu Chuang in them—specifically, the reckless Liu Chuang from when the Xiongbing Company first assembled.

Seeing Zhang Zheng remain silent, the two thugs assumed he was scared. Without hesitation, they pulled over two chairs and sat down at Zhang Zheng's table. Zhang Zheng noticed the three angel girls merely frowning briefly before continuing their meal, and he sighed inwardly—what a burden.

Without giving the two thugs a chance to speak, Zhang Zheng stood up, walked behind them, and effortlessly lifted them both, ignoring their struggles as he tossed them into the aisle. "Get lost," Zhang Zheng said coldly.

"Kid, you've got a death wish. Everyone on this street knows Crazy Dog. You dare mess with me?" Thug A tried to intimidate Zhang Zheng, pulling out his phone to call for backup. Meanwhile, Thug B, acting as the loyal sidekick, bravely stood in front of Zhang Zheng, ready to face off, determined to protect his boss while he made the call.

Zhang Zheng, seeing the angel girls smirking, felt a bit embarrassed. "Ladies, are you done eating? If so, let's go," Zhang Zheng said, feeling awkward. As the strongest being on Earth, being threatened by petty thugs, especially in front of three beautiful angels, was humiliating—humiliating enough to go beyond Earth.

After finishing his call, Thug A saw Zhang Zheng talking about leaving with the girls and assumed he was scared. He approached and said, "Leave? You think you can just walk away? Originally, we just wanted the girls to have dinner with us, but now you've pissed me off. No one's leaving tonight."

"If I let you go now, what face will Crazy Dog have left in the streets?" he added, looking at Zhang Zheng as if daring him to run.

"Brother Dog, Brother Dog, do me a favor and let this go," the hotpot restaurant owner rushed over, realizing the situation was getting out of hand. He offered to cover the meal, while his staff tried to calm down the other onlookers.

Zhang Zheng thought the owner was good at his job. Initially, he didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but since the angels weren't leaving and the thugs were being overly aggressive, he decided to teach them a lesson. Of course, Zhang Zheng wasn't going to do it himself—that would be beneath him.

"Hey, Old Du?" Zhang Zheng called Du Ka'ao.

Du Ka'ao was surprised to get a call from Zhang Zheng, knowing that Zhang Zheng rarely initiated contact unless something bad was about to happen. He braced himself and said, "It's Du Ka'ao. What's the bad news this time?"

Zhang Zheng was momentarily taken aback. Bad news? Did I say something? "Uh, Old Du, I'm being blocked by some thugs at XXX Hotpot. Can you send someone over to help?"

Zhang Zheng felt a bit embarrassed asking for help but thought it would be even more humiliating to deal with the thugs himself as a god. It was better to let Du Ka'ao handle it.

Du Ka'ao, who had braced himself for the worst, was speechless when he realized Zhang Zheng was asking for help with a few thugs. He thought, I was prepared for something serious, and this is all you've got?

Though slightly annoyed, he responded, "Stop joking around. You're a god, and you're afraid of a few thugs?"

"Are you sure you want me to handle it myself?" Zhang Zheng asked.

Du Ka'ao thought about it—having a god deal with common thugs didn't seem appropriate. He also considered Zhang Zheng's destructive potential and felt pity for the thugs. "Alright, don't do anything. I'll send someone over right away. Don't cause any trouble."

Without waiting for a reply, Du Ka'ao hung up and quickly arranged for someone to handle the situation.

Zhang Zheng listened to the dial tone, shrugged helplessly, and sat back down.

"Kid, you're a god and still called for backup against regular people. Want me to handle them for you?" Angel Yan teased.

She had watched the entire situation unfold, thinking Zhang Zheng would take care of the thugs himself. To her surprise, he had called Du Ka'ao to handle it. Angel Yan didn't want to comment on Zhang Zheng's approach. Every main god has a different personality, and this one seemed particularly lazy. She knew from her research that Zhang Zheng had a deal with Ge Xiaolun to protect Earth for 1,000 years.

"No need. As a god of Earth, I don't mind sacrifices in war, but remember, those should be in regular wars. Angels shouldn't harm Earthlings," Zhang Zheng replied seriously, ignoring Yan's teasing.

"Alright, alright, just joking around. Don't take it so seriously," Angel Yan replied, seeing Zhang Zheng's serious expression.

"Your guys didn't arrive as fast as theirs," Angel Chasing said, not paying attention to the conversation between Yan and Zhang Zheng. She had been watching the scenery outside and was the first to notice the thugs gathering outside, so she teased Zhang Zheng.

At the same time, Crazy Dog's phone rang. "Kid, I'm giving the boss face here. If you've got guts, come outside," Crazy Dog taunted.

Zhang Zheng didn't even look at him, continuing to chat with the three beauties, pouring himself a drink, and calmly eating and drinking. Even though the saying goes that a feast for the eyes is satisfying, none of these girls were his. Since they insisted on staying to watch, Zhang Zheng decided to indulge them and enjoy his meal.

"Waiter, another serving of lamb and shrimp, please," Zhang Zheng called out to the server nearby.

The server, seeing Zhang Zheng still ordering food, was speechless. Didn't he notice the door was blocked? She glanced at the boss, who nodded, knowing that Zhang Zheng must have some background. There was no more need to worry about the situation.

Meanwhile, the thugs had moved outside to block the entrance, missing the sight of Zhang Zheng and the angels remaining calm inside. But things were different outside. Due to the angel's arrival, Tianhe City had added three divisions of stationed troops, making it easy for Du Ka'ao to dispatch a platoon.

In no time, the military arrived. Not wanting to meet with the soldiers, Zhang Zheng stayed inside, watching through the window as the soldiers rounded up the thugs.

Angel Yan found Zhang Zheng boring and lost interest in the spectacle. Seeing him still eating, she pouted and said, "Kid, hurry up. I still want to go back and try on clothes."

"Alright, alright," Zhang Zheng muttered, continuing to eat.

The two other angels nodded in agreement. They had initially wanted to watch some action, but after Zhang Zheng tossed the two thugs away and ignored them, they found it boring.
