Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

Just a casual strike had destroyed an entire planet.

Xuan Kun stared in astonishment at the shattered asteroid that exploded like fireworks.

Destroying a planet was something that the Four Great Guardians of the Sun could accomplish, but it required multiple attacks and continuous use of stellar energy to bombard it.

Currently, only Pan Zhen was capable of destroying a planet with a single strike. Even this great deity needed to charge up for a long time before unleashing his most powerful attack.

"Are you threatening me, sir? The Sun Star is not afraid of threats," Pan Zhen said with a serious expression. He then drew his weapon and pointed it directly at Zhang Zheng, ready for battle.

Seeing Pan Zhen draw his weapon and point it at Zhang Zheng, Xuan Kun also prepared for battle, ready to strike at any moment.

"Don't misunderstand, General Pan. I'm just here to prove to you that I have the ability to repair the Sun Star," Zhang Zheng said with a relaxed expression.

Without waiting for Pan Zhen and Xuan Kun to respond, Zhang Zheng opened the Infinite Gauntlet on his left hand, spreading his five fingers toward the asteroid fragments.

A green light enveloped his left hand, and a green circular pattern appeared in front of his palm, with mysterious runes flickering on it. Zhang Zheng's left hand rotated, and the enigmatic pattern rotated along with it.

Pan Zhen watched in amazement as the asteroid began to restore itself with each rotation of Zhang Zheng's wrist. He was dumbfounded, appearing like a rural bumpkin who had never seen such things.

"Is this the power of time?" Pan Zhen asked, looking at the fully restored asteroid with uncertainty.

No one had ever heard of anyone controlling the power of time in the known universe.

"Yes, time reversal," Zhang Zheng said casually.

This was nothing short of a miracle. Xuan Kun was now speechless and stunned.

Then, as if he had thought of something, he turned his gaze to Pan Zhen, saying, "General, the Sun Star has been saved." Xuan Kun said with tearful eyes.

The Four Great Guardians of the Sun, from the old Sun God to the current goddess Reina, had always protected the Sun Star.

A thousand years ago, the War God No Star had used a black cutter to split the Sun Star.

The old Sun God had risked his life to barely preserve half of the planet.

The people of the Sun Star had suffered massive casualties. Each time they thought of it, the four of them felt deeply guilty. As protectors, they had allowed their own planet to be destroyed so easily, which was indeed a failure in their guardianship.

"Please, sir, help us save the people of the Sun Star from this peril," Pan Zhen said respectfully, clasping his hands.

Although Pan Zhen often said that where the gods were, the Sun Star would be, whether it was a planet or a star, he was indifferent.

But no one wanted to see their hometown destroyed, especially someone like Pan Zhen with traditional values.

The Sun Star civilization advocated "national peace and stability," but with only half of the Sun Star left, could it truly be considered "peace and stability"? Only the gods themselves knew.

"General Pan, rest assured. Zhang Zheng keeps his promises. Moreover, not for any other reason, but because I am friends with Reina, I will help within my capabilities," Zhang Zheng said with a smile.

Pan Zhen was very pleased to hear Zhang Zheng's words. For the first time, he felt that his goddess was not so bad.

After visiting Earth, he had made a friend who could help repair the Sun Star.

"Please come to the Sun Star. We need to inform my goddess of this good news." Pan Zhen then made a gesture inviting Zhang Zheng.

As soon as they returned to the Sun Star, the other two Great Guardians arrived.

"General, have you figured out the situation?" Qing Long Guardian Lei Yan asked Pan Zhen with a fist salute.

"Raise the alert. The visitors are friends of my goddess Reina. Inform everyone to receive our allies with the highest respect. I have some urgent matters to attend to at the Dao of Heaven Tower," Pan Zhen said, and without waiting for Lei Yan to respond, he hurriedly left.

Pan Zhen's words left Lei Yan and others puzzled. They were the guardians of the goddess Reina and had no knowledge of her having such a friend.

They looked at Xuan Kun, seemingly asking for the details.

Seeing the curious gazes of his two comrades, Xuan Kun explained the situation to them.

Upon hearing Xuan Kun's explanation, Lei Yan and Yu Xu were astonished, their expressions filled with excitement.

Lei Yan even shouted to his subordinates, "Prepare a feast!"

Meanwhile, Zhang Zheng was comfortably seated in the banquet hall.

He was in the lower seat of the main position, enjoying the traditional Sun Star songs and dances. Zhang Zheng felt as if he had traveled back in time.

It resembled the ancient palace banquets in TV dramas. He never expected to experience it himself.

Watching the extravagant palace dance, Lei Yan and others frequently toasted him.

Zhang Zheng felt this was too much; it was draining his will.

He considered himself a gentleman and decided not to be corrupt.

So, when Pan Zhen entered the hall, Zhang Zheng quickly approached him and said, "General Pan, we should focus on the important matter. Let's restore the Sun Star first."

Pan Zhen chuckled inwardly at Zhang Zheng's eagerness. As expected of Reina's friend, although powerful, his personality was quite childish. He was still too young.

Despite this, Pan Zhen asked, "Do you need any help from us?"

Zhang Zheng thought for a moment and said, "I need General Pan to provide me with data on the Sun Star's previous state. The Sun Star was destroyed over ten thousand years ago. Reversing time would be too burdensome for me. So I need to recreate the missing half of the Sun Star in a different way."

"Alright, please prepare to receive the data," Pan Zhen said, and then transmitted the data of the Sun Star from ten thousand years ago to Zhang Zheng.

Receiving the data, Zhang Zheng said to Pan Zhen, "Alright, let's get started." He then walked out of the banquet hall first.

Zhang Zheng and Pan Zhen went to space, observing the damaged Sun Star and the floating fragments of the Sun Star.

"I'm about to begin. Please, generals, move or destroy the broken fragments of the Sun Star," Zhang Zheng said.

As for why Zhang Zheng didn't personally handle the fragments, he said it was inconvenient. Even if they were trash, they belonged to the people of the Sun Star, and he, as an outsider, was not qualified to deal with them.

Watching the fragments being shattered into cosmic dust, Zhang Zheng gained a new understanding of the Sun Star. Among all the civilizations in the universe, none could match the destructive power of the Sun Star civilization.

No wonder in the original work, Carl and Morgana were so wary of Pan Zhen and Empress Reina.
