On the back of the ship, Thane stood poised with his claymore at the ready. Two of the creatures flanked him on either side with their malevolence glowing eyes, while a third one clawed at one of the ship's towering pole with its gaze locked on him.
With a sudden and synchronized leap, all three of the creatures launched themselves toward Thane. As they soared through the air, Thane dropped into the shadow below him, vanishing from sight. The creatures collided midair with a thunderous clash as their claws meeting nothing but empty space when Thane's silhouette disappeared into the darkness.
Moments later, Thane reappeared, descending from the pole where the third creature had hung. His claymore was raised high, and with a powerful downward strike, he pierced through one of the creature that had been stumbling from the collision. The beast's screech echoed through the void as it crumpled under the weight of Thane's blade.
