In an instant, Lin Ruo entered Heras, who was cutting a steak.
Heras felt a cold presence invade his body, taking control of his mouth and limbs.
Oh no! Wraith possession!
Heras, having read about this, immediately realized what was happening.
But it was useless. Wraith possession is a powerful control skill. If Lin Ruo were only at Sequence 5, Heras might have had a chance to resist. But Lin Ruo was now a Sequence 4 Puppet, a demigod controlling a Sequence 6. The outcome was obvious.
All this happened in a second.
To the outside world, Heras just paused briefly before continuing to cut his steak.
Meanwhile, something seemed to change silently at the long table.
Kapin, slightly chubby, looked in shock at the tablecloth that seemed to come to life and bind him. Before he could react, his hand holding the dinner knife was pulled, and the knife stabbed into his neck.

A scream echoed through the dining room. Kapin instinctively tried to pull the knife out, but it seemed to have a life of its own, pushing deeper. Within seconds, he couldn't scream anymore as his vocal cords were cut and his windpipe severed.
This didn't just happen to Kapin. At that moment, all non-living items in the dining room turned deadly. Lin Ruo had given them life and a command to kill.
Kapin, being an ordinary person, had no chance against these anomalies and was quickly killed. Among the Beyonders, Heras was the most unfortunate.
As the strongest of those protecting Kapin, he was Lin Ruo's primary target. Under wraith possession, he was defenseless against the attacks from nearby objects and was severely injured almost instantly.
The other two Beyonders weren't much better off. Their cutlery attacked them, their food tried to choke them, and their chairs exploded, catching them off guard.
A demigod's power is overwhelming for mid to low-sequence Beyonders, especially in a surprise attack. No one could withstand it.
Only ten seconds had passed since Lin Ruo left the secret state.
In those ten seconds, everyone in the dining room, whether Beyonder or ordinary person, was covered in blood. Some were just injured, but others, like Kapin, were dead.
The Beyonders protecting Kapin weren't completely useless. Despite being caught off guard, they managed some reaction.
Heras, the highest sequence among them, was the most desperate to survive. While Lin Ruo focused on attacking with non-living items, Heras's iron-black metal glove emitted a sense of majesty.

The next second, silver lightning filled the dining room. Everyone's legs had been intentionally injured by Lin Ruo earlier. Facing the area attack of a storm pathway demigod, no one could escape. They were all engulfed by the silver lightning.

Seeing this, Lin Ruo smiled and exited the secret state. He began searching the bodies for valuable items while waiting for their extraordinary characteristics to manifest.
This didn't take long. Unfortunately, due to the lightning's power, most items, except for Heras's iron-black metal glove, were not made of extraordinary materials and didn't survive.
However, the extraordinary characteristics of the three were enough to compensate for these losses. After collecting them, Lin Ruo looked at the mess and laughed:
