Chapter 37 - Chapter 17.1 - Mardhona Marchosias

The silent vastness of Hell pulsed with dark energy, shrouded in eternal darkness. Mardhona Marchosias, once known as one of the 20 Infernal Generals, walked through the shadowy halls of Helheim, her body marked with the scars of a cruel betrayal. Her mind wandered back to ancient times, times when her life had taken a turn of pain and darkness that she could never forget.

Long ago, Mardhona was a feared and respected warrior in the Underworld. Her powers over the abyssal waters and incomprehensible shadows were legendary. As one of the greatest commanders of Marcos, the King of Demons, she led armies and held her position as one of the most loyal servants of the Underworld. However, her loyalty would become her undoing.

A new power had emerged in Hell: Lucifer, the Last Bearer of Light, the Fallen Archangel. His arrival was like a whirlwind of ambition and treachery. He knew that, to solidify his power, he would need to eliminate those who threatened his rule, and Mardhona was one of them. That's when his conspiracy began.

Lucifer plotted with diabolical precision. He orchestrated the murder of Marcos' only son, an heir who represented the strength of his empire. With a cunning scheme, he framed Mardhona, making it appear as though she had betrayed her master in a cowardly attack. Suspicion fell upon her like a dark storm. Marcos, torn with pain and filled with doubt, had a deep sense that Mardhona was not the culprit, but the evidence planted by Lucifer was too incriminating to ignore.

With few options and pressure from those around him, Marcos made the decision that ate at him from the inside: to banish Mardhona to Helheim, the abyss of souls. He himself opened the Gate to Helheim, an act only a divine representative could perform.

Mardhona was dragged into that abyss, betrayed by those she had served faithfully. But the true horror of her punishment was just beginning. Helheim was not just a realm of pain; it was also the domain of Hades, the God of the Dead. He found her in its depths, and what happened there was known only to her and the shadows. The silence around her spoke more than any words could, and the result of that macabre encounter was the life that grew inside her.

She gave birth to Leviathan, the most powerful and monstrous creature Hell had ever known. A beast born of darkness and despair, which bound her eternally to that part of her life she so desperately wished to forget. Though she abhorred the way Leviathan came into the world, Mardhona loved her son, and he would become a key piece in her plans for revenge.

Decades later, in Helheim, as her soul corroded with hatred and a thirst for vengeance, Mardhona finally found her chance to escape. During one of the rare cosmic events that distorted the laws of reality, a dimensional rift opened, connecting the depths of Helheim to the Abyssal Depths of the physical world. The opportunity was unique, and Mardhona did not hesitate. She crossed the rift, leaving behind the chains of Helheim and emerging into the dark, dense waters of the Abyss.

It was there that she began to formulate her plan. Poseidon, the God of the Seas, was the key to her vengeance. He ruled the seas, controlled the waters, and was one of the central figures in the natural order she so despised. Using her Master Control power, Mardhona knew she could subjugate any sea creature, and even the God of the Seas could not resist such a perk for long. However, total possession of Poseidon required more—something only she could achieve: complete control over his body and soul.

- Mardhona: "Poseidon." She murmured to herself in the depths, her eyes darkening with ancient fury. "You will be my vessel for the destruction of all that lives."

The plan was clear in her mind. She would use Poseidon, the God of the Seas, to unleash true destruction. Their combined powers would bring chaos and ruin, not only to the mortal world but also to the gods who stood in her way.

- Mardhona: "Lucifer." She whispered with hatred. "You will see the true extent of my power when I bring the entire world to the abyss."

Through her possession, Mardhona planned to use Poseidon to trigger catastrophes that would shake the seas and destroy entire civilizations. Her revenge against Lucifer was already in motion, and she knew that with the power of the God of the Seas under her control, no army or divine force would be able to stop her.

But her thirst for destruction was not limited to Lucifer. The entire world would suffer for her pain and betrayal. The water that once brought life and sustenance would now become a vehicle of destruction. All that was alive would be subjugated by the depths, and Mardhona Marchosias, with her new weapon, would usher in a new era of chaos.
