Burning Desires of the Amethyst Witch

A witch summons a Demoness to be her familiar.
It doesn't go as planned, and all hell breaks loose.
Inspired by the pulpy sword and sorcery of Robert E. Howard's Solomon Kane and the dark fantasy of Joe Abercrombie's The Blade Itself, this story is set in a rich, Holy Roman Empire-inspired world.
The narrative primarily follows Jenny Nachtdorn, a novice witch driven by a quest for revenge against those who burned her mother for supposed witchcraft. This quest leads her to summon Dravisha, a baroness of hell, as her demonic familiar. At its heart, the story explores the complex, transactional relationship between Jenny and Dravisha. While Dravisha's ultimate goal is to fully possess her summoner, their dynamic constantly shifts between uneasy alliance and subtle antagonism, with Jenny making profound sacrifices for her revenge, even as Dravisha grapples with an unexpected attachment to her witch.
The setting is the Ecclesiastical Domain of Hochwalden, a province within the Holy Imperium of Farugia. Ruled by Prince-Archbishop Heinrich von Falkenstein, the Domain is steeped in fear and religious zealotry, with the Inquisition wielding extensive power in its mission to eradicate witchcraft, heresy and demonic influence.
