Chapter 36 - Chapter 17 - The Battle Against the Corrupted God

The waves roared furiously around the Abyssal Domain, where Throk, Aelion, and Neptune faced the storm unleashed by Poseidon, who was now consumed by a dark force, threatening the harmony of the seas. Neptune, with his Tide power, tried to control the strength of the seas and maintain balance, but it was clear that Poseidon's power was beyond any control.

- Neptune: "I can't hold this much longer... Poseidon... is out of control!"

As Neptune fought against the chaotic waters, a devastating blow from Poseidon sent him flying, crashing unconscious onto a submerged platform. With a roar of anger and desperation, Throk charged toward Poseidon, his solar energy shining brightly.

- Throk (in a defiant tone): "Prepare yourself, Poseidon! You will witness a bit of my power!"

Poseidon, with his gleaming trident and his body radiating a dark aura, laughed mockingly. His presence seemed to distort the very fabric of reality around him.

- Poseidon: "You think you can stop me? The power I carry is immeasurable!"

Throk, determined to protect his allies and restore peace, activated his Solar Form, enveloped by an intense golden glow. The strength of the solar light in its fullest form illuminated the battlefield as he prepared for a direct confrontation with the God of the Seas.

- Throk (with arrogance): "Poseidon, do you think you can challenge me? Do you think you're a match for me? To those fools who think they can challenge me, know this—there is no force greater than mine."

The battlefield became a maelstrom of light and darkness. Throk, with his Solar Form activated, fired blasts of solar energy that collided with Poseidon's corrupted waves of water, creating explosions of steam and light. However, Poseidon resisted bravely, his trident cutting through the solar light and sending waves of darkness in response.

- Throk (smiling confidently): "You gods really think you can compete with my power? I'll show you just how weak you truly are!"

With arrogant determination, Throk began to focus his spiritual energy. The roots of the World Tree, the power gained in the Whispering Forest of Lost Dreams, finally awakened and began to emerge, surrounding him in an imposing green aura. His strength expanded as he used Spirit Energy Drain to absorb some of Poseidon's spiritual energy, further increasing his power.

Throk's techniques were now at a divine level. He unleashed powerful techniques like Eternal Sun and Solar Vengeance, each strike more intense and devastating than the last. The battle raged on for hours, with Poseidon fighting against Throk's relentless assaults and his powerful solar abilities.

The fight seemed endless, but Throk's presence was beginning to bear fruit. With a cry of fury and determination, he activated his Big Sun form, radiating pure divine energy that seemed to eclipse even Poseidon himself. The golden light enveloped the battlefield, subduing Poseidon and forcing him to retreat temporarily.

In this moment of weakness, Aelion, who had been hidden in the shadows of the battle, saw his chance. Using the technique Expurgo, he unleashed a purifying wave directly at Poseidon. Aelion's celestial energy found its target and began to disintegrate through Poseidon's body. The shadow controlling Poseidon began to reveal itself as Mardhona Marchosias, the mother of Leviathan, who struggled desperately to maintain control.

- Mardhona: "No! You can't expel me!"

Aelion's power forced Mardhona to fully manifest, and with a final scream, she was expelled from Poseidon's body, which collapsed to his knees, completely exhausted and powerless.

- Poseidon: "What... what happened?"

The light that had surrounded Poseidon slowly began to dissipate, revealing him once again in his normal form, though still weakened. Throk, panting and still in his Big Sun form, watched the scene with a mix of relief and exhaustion.

- Aelion: "The danger isn't entirely over, but we've freed Poseidon from the dark influence."

The battlefield was devastated, with the waters beginning to calm and the waves returning to normal. With Poseidon freed, the Kingdom of the Mermaids was safe, but the damage and battles had left deep scars. The trio knew that balance had been restored, but the cost of victory was something they would have to face in the days to come.

The battle was won, but the path to recovery and reconstruction was just beginning.
