Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - Mourch Mansion

At 20:34

The crow perched on a dry tree branch above the cemetery.

Fort quietly took steps past the grave into the grounds of Madam Mourch's Mansion. Passing through a large crack in the wall between the Mansion and the cemetery.

Fort lowered his head.

Check the situation inside the house through the shadows of the lights. He saw that there was only the shadow of one person on the second floor of the Mansion.

Fort opened the window as gently as possible without making any noise.

Enter through the window Fort, walking slowly past tables and chairs.

Opening the door he peeked out of the room. "No one here.."

Fort walked slowly through a long hallway with various kinds of paintings.

Observing the paintings, Fort saw something strange; in each painting, there was a tall black figure who only looked like a shadow... Translucent, almost invisible to the eye that was not observing.

Observing the paintings and portraits on the walls, Fort was surprised.

"This...! "

A portrait includes three people, one of whom is Madam Mourch, a dignified man, and a girl.

"Isn't this the girl from yesterday"

The girl was wearing the same dress as the monster that attacked the citizens the other day.

Even if you look at their faces, they are similar to that creature, the only difference is the look on their faces

One is cheerful and full of smiles whereas

The monster was pale and rarely smiled.

While Fort was focused on observing the portrait, he heard the sound of footsteps walking from above.

Crackle clack clack

The sound of rotting wooden floors.

The figure came down the stairs.

Panicking, Fort rushed to find a hiding place. down a hallway filled with strange portraits. Fort found a room that was unlocked.

Without thinking, he then entered the room.

While inside the Fort he saw something he didn't expect.

Piles of human skeletons, along with strange symbols, are carved on the walls. Scattered everywhere.

Looking at every corner of the room, Fort saw that there were no air vents or windows, making the room very similar to a torture room.

A pungent odor wafted everywhere.

Looking to the right corner Fort saw the corpse of a girl covered in maggots.

He almost threw up, if it wasn't for him hiding,  Fort would have walked away from the room as soon as possible. The amount of wrong things that happened in this mansion was out of my mind.

After a few minutes, the sound of footsteps faded away.

Fort then quickly left the room.

He then realized that Madam Mourch was downstairs, in the kitchen.

Fort then slipped quickly upstairs.

He opened the door to the room he saw from outside.

In the room, there is a table in the middle, bookshelves on the right and left, and a window covered with curtains.

Looking on the table Fort found a book.

He took it and sat down.

Opening the book Fort started reading it.

May 25

I can not take it anymore.....

They keep asking.

May 26

They are everywhere. Why me?

Shouldn't you catch another human??

Please..

Even here, it's no longer safe

28 May

My husband fell ill

"Husband? Hasn't she been alone for several years?"

The disease cannot even be cured by village medicine. My choice was limited

Should I take it to town?...

May 30

He was already in a moist and beautiful place.

I killed him.

Haha, why even bother? He was dead anyway, so why even bother writing this? Why?? This page was mostly ripped apart and stained with blood.

He says I need to "taste" you

The flesh is soft and chewy. But don't worry, you'll be back with me again...

Reading that made me feel like vomiting for the second time

"This Woman Ate Her Husband!?"

I feel like what I read is bad enough.

Fort immediately closed the diary and looked through the stacked files. He read one of the files which stated: "Resurrection"

Written clearly above long words.

After that, Fort saw a newspaper attached to the right side of the door. Approaching the newspaper he saw the news of a girl who had died due to drowning.

After collecting the information he then tried to conclude. "Madam Mourch lost her sanity and was willing to give anything after her husband fell ill and her child drowned."

"But what's confusing is that none of the residents know that he has a family?"

Holding his head Fort saw another file stating that "resurrection" had a heavy price.

When he saw the file, he was surprised by the turning doorknob,

Panic...

Fort pushed the table towards the door, temporarily blocking access to this room while thinking about how to escape from this mansion.

....

In the hallway on the 2nd floor of the mansion.

Madam Mourch, who has "enjoyed the results," Walks towards his room.

Turning the doorknob, he found that the door could not be opened

Realizing that someone had entered his house, he was afraid that his secret would be leaked.

First, he broke the door but to no avail. The door didn't even move at all.

Seeing that her efforts would be impossible, Madam Mourch then took a copper amulet in the shape of a snake's tail which was hanging from a tree. Around it were carved symbols that looked ancient

Followed by Madam Mourch took the amulet, she injured her arm and then held the amulet with her blood while chanting a spell

"Qui nihil accipit, animam accipit, animam dat"

Instantly, the talisman dripped with blood and made the hissing sound of a snake.

.....

On the other side of the room, Fort was dizzy thinking about a way out, even thinking about jumping out of the window.

At that moment, Fort looked out the window, accompanied by the moonlight behind the faint fog, he saw the figure of a woman in a black dress with a pale face and long nails.

The woman floated right in front of the window closing her eyes.

The woman's mouth smiled broadly, giving a frightening impression, accompanied by her neatly arranged sharp teeth.

Suddenly the woman opened her eyes to see Fort. The creature let out an incredibly loud scream; its scream managed to shatter the glass in the window of the house; not only that, but the mirror in the room also broke.

Her screams echoed in the silence of the foggy night.

The creature then lunged at Fort with a smile and sharp nails, she tried to grab at Fort, but Fort managed to avoid it and rolled to the right, seeing her prey managed to dodge the creature and then change her expression, she looked annoyed and opened her mouth as wide as she could until ripped off a small area on the left and right of her mouth. Giving scary looks.

Fort then took out the revolver he was carrying, pointed it at the creature, and shot.

Bang!

Unfortunately, the creature managed to dodge and swung its long, thin arm towards Fort.

Fort changed positions, leaning against the table he used to close the door.

The creature slammed its hand against the door in the hope that Fort could be destroyed.

Fort managed to escape but the door holding Madam Mourch was destroyed.

Seeing that Fort hurriedly ran towards the broken door, he ran past Madam Mourch followed by the creature.

Running down the hall for a few minutes Fort managed to lose track of the creature's pursuit. With the help of the bookshelf, he knocked over.

He ran away from that place and hid in the mansion's kitchen.

Reaching into his pocket he found several things, including an iron emblem that had dragons and clouds engraved around it, surrounded by strange and ancient symbols. Holding the emblem tightly he thought hard about how to kill the creature...

He's only hope was the letter he give to Callie sister. Hope she gave it to her sister
