The ship as expected docked at Lionsdale the following evening. Okuagu said his goodbyes to everyone on board though he couldn't convince them to take back the gifts that they had presented to him. The gifts ranged from coins, clothing and even surprisingly a teddy that a little girl forced him to accept. The most repulsive of gifts though was the styling of his hair by the old lady into long black flowing locks.Stepping on to the ever busy streets of Lionsdale Okuagu took in the sights and sounds ranging from the artisans on the streets to some hunters hauling in some exotic game from carts. "Now to find a hunting squad to join'' remarked Okuagu as he walked towards some hunters."Kind sirs could you please direct me on where I can join a hunting squad? Asked Okuagu as he bowed towards the hunters. The hunters didn't answer quickly as they were shocked to hear such a polite question coming from a savage looking person. "Sure... you will need to go across the Lionsdale forest after which you can proceed to the Hunters lodge" stammered the biggest of the hunters. "Seriously so which hunting squad are you part of? Okuagu asked. "None, I cherish my life please" replied the hunter "Anyways you look tough, so good luck" the hunter added as Okuagu bade them goodbye. After much walking Okuagu arrived at the Lionsdale forest which was a vast expanse of evergreen forest full of beautiful oaks. Okuagu climbed up what seemed to be the tallest of the trees in that patch of forest so that he could get a good look around the place. He however stopped for he could hear the sound of blades clashing some distance away. He moved quickly to the area and using a bush as cover was shocked to the sight that he witnessed.A lady clad in black armor was clashing with a guy his age dressed in a long flowing white hooded robe. Sprawled around the two were the bodies of two guards with arrows sticking out of their necks. "Die" shouted the lady as her entire body including her sword began to be covered in a black mist. ''Hear me out princess '' the hooded figure said as he jumped back dodging a slash aimed for his throat. "Hell no assassin! Retorted the princess as black tentacles surged from the ground towards the hooded figure. The male stranger jumped up some meters into the air dodging countless of tentacles, "Got you now" the princess smiled as she hurled a knife at the assassin who was still in the air. Okuagu smiled at the princess's tactic for everyone knew how seemingly impossible it was for someone to dodge midair. But to the obvious surprise of the both of them the assassin seemingly jumped AGAIN in the air thereby avoiding the knife which nearly impaled Okuagu the uninvited spectator. "Must be a wind related gift" reasoned Okuagu as he wondered whether he should interfere in the fight or move on. His thoughts were interrupted as countless of arrows struck the ground all over. The princess deflected most of the arrows the assassin shot as she closed the distance to deliver a final blow. The assassin quickly shifted from his bow to his short saber to deflect a powerful slash that would have cut his head clean of his shoulder.
"Enough! Shouted Okuagu as he pulled out an arrow from his shoulder and appeared from the bushes "Who are you" asked the princess as one of the black tentacles dragged back the assassin that decided to make a break for it. "I am Okuagu the child of fire your majesty" replied Okuagu bowing as Claire had taught him to do when encountering royalty. "So what business do you have here" she asked as she sized him up. "Why not hear what the scum has to say your majesty" replied Okuagu as he winked at the assassin. The princess after looking at both of them laughed "Very well I will hear him out".The assassin shook himself from the dust on his robe and then answered "You see I just saved you, those guards were hired by your uncle to kill you". "And why should I believe you scum" asked the princess with a scowl "Because if I was sent to kill you and wanted to, you will be dead by now" replied the assassin with a smirk. "How dare you use such tone" remarked the princess. "I don't think he is lying" added Okuagu "Why do you say so" asked the princess as she sheathed her sword. "He has been holding back throughout the fight your majesty" replied Okuagu. "Whose side are you on" the princess asked with a sigh. "That's enough royal bullsh*t! Do you believe me or not Diamond? The assassin asked as he leaned back against a tree. "What insolence! Can you believe this fire child? The princess remarked her ivory face slowly turning red due to rage. "The name's Okuagu and assassin do apologize" Okuagu chuckled as he cracked his knuckles. "Wait do you think because you're taller than me means you can boss me around" the assassin fumed as he drew his saber. "Are you going to fight my knees shorty" laughed Okuagu. "That's It! Shouted the assassin....
