"Claire, sister!Okuagu shouted as he approached her taking into account the ape footprints and metal spikes surrounding the place. "it's okay bro, I got it really good in its side" laughed Claire as she coughed out some blood. Okuagu looked at her noticing how the heat in her body was reducing. "You can't die sis" cried Okuagu brushing away some tears. "Even hot powerful sisters have to go" remarked Claire with a chuckle. "This is serious I don't want to lose you" Okuagu said as he tried to heal her wound with his gift. "That won't work "Claire said as she brushed his hair from his face. "I want you to grow stronger and leave this forest" Claire said with tears streaming from her face. "Make friends and protect those who don't have the strength to protect themselves" she added. "Also use that spear well and grow strong in mind as well as body" she continued with a smile. "What did this to you? Okuagu asked, rage surging through his body. "That's not important, don't do anything stupid as I'm expecting you to come to heaven much, much later" Claire finally added as she breathed her last."BIG SIS! Okuagu cried shaking the whole forest.
He picked up her body and took it back to their cabin where he buried her in front of the fireplace where they normally talked. ''See you later sis" Okuagu said as he burst into tears. He melted the bodies of some of the forest scorpions and poured it over her grave to prevent scavengers from preying on her remains. He there after moved through the cabin carrying some books and items that were left behind including the mysterious ring he saw in the cabin. Okuagu kissed the ring and after much thinking attached it to some beads he had made from the scorpion's body, to produce a beautiful bracelet which he wore on his right hand in memory of his one true sister. Okuagu moved into an empty cave at the western side of the forest to prepare for the major hunt he was about to undertake for his rage had to be calmed down with the blood of the ape that took his sister away from him.
It was a dark night when Okuagu headed out for vengeance. Okuagu was dressed in a skirt made solely from leopard skins with a headband made from python skin with feathers adorning it. On his neck was the eye of the leopard, his wrist the bangle and strapped to his back was the spear Claire left for him. Gone was the boy who had lost all, now making his way towards the forest was a hunter with killing intent in his eyes. With the markings on his body now well-lit he descended into the forest floor. He followed the footprints of the ape and by taking into account the bashed up bodies of its recent victims he was able to come to the conclusion that the ape was at least B rank and seemed to take delight in killing things. "Killing you will be fun" Okuagu smiled with a smirk as he followed the ape to its lair near a spring. On reaching the lair he went stealth mode emulating the predators he had hunted. He could sense the heat and strength coming from the ape was much which made him conclude that the ape was A rank. Channeling all his energy into his arms and legs he charged in spear in hand. "Boring" the ape said blocking a stab meant for his heart. The ape after that ran at him with a speed and force like that of a raging bull elephant. Okuagu jumped back dodging a massive punch, though the shock wave from it blew him back. "You actually dodged that, now let's dance" laughed the ape as he threw a flurry of blows at him. Okuagu began to swing the spear blocking each blow though he was confused why the ape's hand looked unscathed for the spear was blazing hot.Okuagu then with all his strength pushed the ape back with his spear after which he delivered a flaming kick to its torso. The ape didn't even flinch and threw another powerful punch aimed at his belly. Okuagu sidestepped to the left after which he stabbed the ape in the belly. Too Okuagu's greatest surprise the spear simply bounced back as though it had struck granite. The ape seized the opportunity and punched him in the belly sending him crashing into some trees. Okuagu could see huge amounts of heat surging into the ape's legs and knew at once it was either planning to jump or run towards him. Knowing it was an ape he figured it was sure to take the first option and so he braced himself for impact. The ape propelled itself into the air and came crashing down with both hands obviously with the aim to crush him. Okuagu gathered heat energy into his body and channeled everything into his right arm and then with a feline roar punched the ape in its belly. The ape coughed out blood on impact and crashed into a massive tree snapping it in two. "I've finally figured your gift Ape! Okuagu shouted a wild crazy smile forming on his face. "Is that so, then I'll have to crush you before the secret gets out" laughed the ape with a grin exposing its dirty teeth. Okuagu dropped his spear after which he assumed a crouching position. ''You just lost your only way of survival" grinned the ape. Okuagu gathered heat from his surroundings and after breathing out rushed the ape with punches and kicks. The ape blocked the hits though it was confused why the human in front of him gave the aura of a savage leopard.Soon enough the ape was covered in bruises and marks all over. "Die" shouted the ape as his body took on a silver luster. Okuagu jumped back dodging some silver spikes that protruded from its body. ''Better than the gift of your stupid friend right? Shouted the ape with a grin. "I guess so, but today Claire will watch you die by my hands'' Okuagu replied with a laugh. "So that didn't shake you, well time to die! Roared the ape as numerous spikes burst out from its body. Okuagu did something rather queer and simply ran towards the ape arms in front blocking his neck and chest. ''Foolish human'' laughed the ape as he threw more spikes at him. His body was soon covered in steam and silver as the spikes simply melted on contact with him.Okuagu on reaching the front of the ape dodged a punch meant for his face and jumped on the ape's back as he held it in a head lock. The ape smiled as it threw some spikes backwards. The ape heard a groan which later metamorphosed into a laugh as Okuagu tightened his grip on the ape's neck. "You see I realized your gift as well as silver gives you immunity to other gifts but not physical attacks'' said Okuagu as he squeezed his neck tighter. "But I threw some spikes at you" groaned the ape as it thrashed around in an effort to dislodge Okuagu from its back. "Well silver also melts dumbass "remarked Okuagu as he locked his legs into the ape's side making it to fall on to its back. The ape tried in a vain effort to save itself by covering its neck with more silver. But suddenly he felt cold and consequently weak. ''What is happening" murmured the ape who was currently thrashing around as its face slowly began to lose color."I'm not going to fall into your trap and melt the silver around your neck" roared Okuagu as he transferred heat from the ape's body to his own and converted it to kinetic energy in his arms. "It's over "Okuagu finally said before he released his hold watching the ape's body go limp.
''It's time to move on '' Okuagu said to himself as he limped back towards the cave. Okuagu went into the cave, gathered his belongings and stepped out taking in a massive breath."Goodbye" Okuagu breathed out as he faced forward walking towards a new beginning.
