"That would be appreciated." Brightness dragon lord said with a sense of relief… I was able to find a way to grant those two clemency, even if only after they deal with what she has planned for them… It's better than losing them to the throws that caused us to rise and kill, father.
Night Silver first walked over and healed Brightness dragon lord. It took several spell casts to reach a point where he could move on his own with some ease. Night Silver could have used her crown's power to instantly recover her friend's injuries. But that was meant for emergencies, not for slow times like these.
"Every time I see your magic, I grow more intrigued and impressed." Brightness dragon lord mentioned as he tested out his newly healed body. "Even my scales have regrown. Well most of them have." He added in a bit of a shock. Now even he was curious why that happened.
"Hmm, I guess I should run a few experiments. If you can regrow a scale every time I cast healing magic on you, I wonder if the other dragons I captured can… I know their tails can be regrown. So, perhaps there really is something to it." Night Silver mentioned, gently petting the regrown scale.
"Ohh! Sil, that area is still very sensitive." Brightness blushed.
"Sorry, I couldn't help my curiosity. I'll refrain from using you like that again unless you give permission. I'll save the painful stuff for that particular one." Night Silver quickly replied but also realized that brightness had a very different expression on his face. Oh, that must have been his special spot, a turn on so to speak. Nice.
"It's… uhm, alright, let us go grab the other two if they are willing to swear loyalty then they will be of great help in moving those people around." Brightness said, taking a step forward. "I don't mind carrying you and some cargo. But I'd rather not carry anyone else if at all possible." He mentioned.
Night Silver smirked and jumped up, landing gently on Brightness' back. "I see, then I guess I will start by riding you now." She giggled for a moment. "Though, I'd like you to make an exception for some. There are young children that seem rather attached to me. I'd like to have them ride with me if at all possible." She added.
"Hmm, children huh… I wonder what that would be like…" Brightness said wandering off in thought.
"Hey, Earth to Bright, what's wrong with you? You mention children and go off into your own little world. You want some, don't you?" Night Silver teased.
"Ah, um uh, sorry about that Sil. I don't know what happened. I feel different than before and that talk just got something stirring. Odd." Brightness stammered.
"Oh? I guess that makes sense. I also leveled up a couple times. I'm almost back to peak power. I feel stronger when liberating, so perhaps it's a job class like [Liberator] that some had as a role playing class. I couldn't see much use for it but here, it could prove useful. It feels like a High Job Class and right now… Somewhere around level 3 or 4. Hmm. I feel closer to level 96. So it should be level 3." Night Silver explained, inspecting herself through vague senses she had. A shame the console doesn't exist here. I'd be able to tell for real. Oh well.
"Say, these levels you speak of, can you tell me more? And maybe more about what you said makes sense for me to think so differently?" Brightness asked, just as the two of them arrived at two collapsed, yet alive bodies of the other two dragons.
"Hmm, in short, the reason is largely due to my own speculation since I know very little of this world. But it does seem like your species has a lot in common with the Dragons where I'm from. For instance my special skills work against you guys. I'd be dead right now if they hadn't. Your father was a powerful foe. Ideally I wouldn't have taken him on alone, but I had been dropped in there… Anyway, the lore of the dragons where I come from says that once they reach around level 85, they are said to begin looking for a mating partner." Night Silver explained jumping off of Brightness' back landing just a little ways to the side. "And that Uncle of yours was no slouch, I just happen to be the worst kind of opponent for him. Actually… He specifically could find no worse opponent ever. Unless I was level 100. My build is a bane on just about anything that goes against nature. Perhaps, I'll tell you about why another time." She continued, with a stretch.
With the way the dragons had landed, it could be dangerous for them if they were to wake up in that position. So when Night Silver walked up, she used a druid spell to create and control vines that picked both of the dragons up, and laid them back down facing each other. Yet another rather impressive feat she managed to pull off. Impressive from the perspective of those weaker than her, she could still keep going even after all the magic she used. However, for her, this was simply another trivial matter, certainly nothing like fighting a boss in the game much less than that when compared to the boss she had to fight to gain access to the classes that granted her such might.
"Alright, I'm going to heal them enough and then wake them both up. I won't be letting them recover completely though." Night Silver said, holding a hand over each of the dragon's. "[Double Minor Cure Wounds] & [Double Status Nature's Rousing]" She called out her spells softly.
The two dragons were wrapped in a shallow glow as some of their wounds healed and their eyes started opening. Night Silver stood there a little proud of herself. And then the dragon she had used as a projectile began quivering, and so too did the other.
"This hell isn't over?" The trembling dragons asked.
"Oh, it's possible to end it soon. You've been given a chance at clemency. You can thank your Elder brother for that. Hear him out and make your choice." Night Silver smirked, pointed to Brightness to take over. This way, it's his responsibility and can not blame me if the two refuse. Perfect.
