Chapter 11 - Shadows in the Night

In the heart of Sakurahara City, a neon-soaked maze known for its wild nightlife, nestled a bar called "The Crimson Moon." This joint wasn't your typical, trendy spot. Worn leather couches, their patina whispering tales of countless whispered secrets, hugged the dimly lit walls adorned with faded snapshots of a bygone era. The air hung thick with the sweet scent of spilled sake and the low hum of chatter, punctuated by the occasional raucous laugh.

One evening, as the bar filled with the usual cast of characters – weary salarymen drowning their sorrows, boisterous groups of college students celebrating victories, and lone figures nursing solitary drinks – two mysterious figures entered. Clad in long coats that seemed to devour the already scarce light, their faces remained shrouded in shadow. A hush fell over the patrons as the strangers moved with practiced ease, their boots clicking softly on the worn wooden floor. They chose a secluded table in the back corner, their very presence radiating an air of secrecy that sent shivers down the spines of some and piqued the curiosity of others. The patrons watched with a mix of apprehension and intrigue, wondering who these enigmatic figures might be and what secrets they carried within their cloaks.

As they sat down, one of the figures ordered a glass of whiskey, while the other requested a bottle of sake. The bartender, a grizzled old man with a piercing gaze, served them their drinks without a word. The two strangers sat in silence, their eyes scanning the room.

The bartender left them and they began to drink at the same time. They were from Zephyria world. Namely Saki and Sora. This was their first time visiting a bar in the human world, and they were eager to experience the nightlife.

Both Saki and Sora were known for their drinking prowess in their own world, Zephyria. They had participated in countless drinking contests and emerged victorious time and again. As they raised their glasses, they couldn't wait to test their skills against the best drinkers in this world.

With a clink of their glasses, Saki and Sora took a sip of their drinks.

Their faces contorted in a mixture of surprise and delight. The whiskey was smooth and flavorful, the sake was rich and aromatic. They were hooked. Over the next hour, Saki and Sora downed drink after drink, their glasses refilled as quickly as they emptied them. They engaged in lively conversation.

By the end of the night, Saki and Sora were still going strong, while many of the other patrons had already stumbled home. They had proven themselves to be the champions of the bar, their reputation cemented among the regulars. As they left The Crimson Moon, they couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

Saki leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smirk on his face. "A bunch of amateurs," he said, "Couldn't hold a candle to us in a drinking contest."Sora nodded in agreement. "Indeed, brother. We are truly the all-time champions of the entire planet."The two brothers raised their glasses in a toast, their laughter echoing through the bar.

They had proven themselves to be the best drinkers in both Zephyria and the human world. It was past 1 p.m. The elderly bartender approached Saki and Sora to finish their drinking as it was getting late. They were not satisfied. They wanted more drinks. But the bartender still politely insisted on leaving.

Saki is a tall, lean man with sharp features and piercing eyes. A 35-year-old man is tall, His hair is a wild mane of unruly black curls that often frame his face in a halo of darkness. He is typically dressed in a loose-fitting, old hoodie-type khaki robe.

Sora, on the other hand, is shorter and stockier than his brother. He has a round face, kind eyes, and a warm smile. His hair is a soft brown, neatly trimmed and combed. Sora's clothing is more traditional, consisting of tunics and trousers in muted earth tones.

The elderly bartender said, his voice gentle but firm. "Gentlemen, it's getting late. I'll need you to finish up."Saki and Sora exchanged glances, their eyes filled with disappointment. They were far from satisfied, their thirst for drink still unquenched."Just a few more rounds," Saki pleaded, his voice thick with alcohol.

The bartender shook his head. "I'm sorry, but it's time to close up."Reluctantly, Saki and Sora paid their tab and prepared to leave. As they stood up, a strange sensation washed over them. A telepathic message, clear and echoed in their minds.

The message came from another unknown world. Saki and Sora exchanged surprised looks. Saki and Sora only these people can hear the voice. No other person can't hear the telepathy."Did you hear that?" Saki asked Sora. They were in high.

Sora nodded, his eyes wide with disbelief. "I did. It sounds like someone is in serious trouble." The voice rumbled and said," No one is in trouble, insolences. Anyway, where are you two? I have been trying to contact you."They recognized the voice and Sora said that they were in a bar. The unknown voice asked in a rage if they knew what was happening in the spiritual realm.

Saki said," I did what I had to do. Now what?" Saki's magic power is to create monsters. He collects monster orbs and uses his magic power to create monsters. He can create a specific monster that contains the specific orb.

The telepathy said, " The monsters that you have created so far most of them were killed by mages.

Some are still rumbling. Do you have any idea?"They were in disbelief. Because Saki has created over 500 different monsters, it was quite hard to kill that many. They predicted that it would take almost 30 days to kill all of them and some mages would die.

Saki and Sora surprised looks. They had never considered the possibility that their creations could be a threat. The telepathy also said that they were from the Windvale guild that killed those two powerful "Four Arms Berserker".

The unknown voice had no idea who they were.

Saki slammed his fist on the table, his anger evident. "Impossible! Those weakling wizards defeated my greatest monsters?"The bartender, who had been listening to their conversation, remained silent, his expression unreadable.

Sora stood up and approached the bartender and paid the bills. Sora's face was clear that he was ready to take action. Sora said," There's nothing to be ashamed of Saki. Let's do it again. Sora"

They immediately left the bar with a dramatic line.

Beneath their seemingly harmless exterior, Saki and Sora harbor a dark secret. They are not simply adventurers seeking excitement and fortune; they are part of a powerful organization that seeks to dominate the human universe.

Their true intentions are shrouded in mystery, but it is clear that they possess a thirst for power and control that knows no bounds. They have been manipulating events from the shadows, using their magical abilities to sow chaos and discord.
