Chapter 13 - A Realm in Peril

There were lots of average monsters attacking the city. As soon as she noticed their presence, Mika braced herself for battle. Her magic crackled and sparked, her eyes filled with determination. She knew that she had to protect the realm from these creatures, no matter the cost.

Mika was locked in a fierce battle with a group of monstrous creatures in the ethereal realm. The creatures were wreaking havoc, their destructive rampage leaving a trail of chaos and devastation in their wake.

Mika fought bravely, her magic crackling and sparking as she defended the realm. But the monsters were relentless, their numbers overwhelming and their strength formidable. Mika's stamina was beginning to dwindle, her magic faltering under the relentless assault.

Mika was thinking," I couldn't even notice when they attacked this city. And why there are so many?"

"How could I have been so careless?" she muttered to herself.

Without a moment to lose, Mika drew her twin shadows, two enchanted blades that shimmered with a cold, ethereal light. With a swift movement, she slashed through the air, the blades leaving a trail of shimmering energy.

The monsters that were in her path were instantly cut down, their bodies dissolving into dust. Mika continued to fight, her movements fluid and precise. He used her speed boosts, She danced through the chaos, her blades a blur of motion. Monsters couldn't even react.

One by one, the monsters fell before her, their bodies reduced to nothing but dust. Mika fought with a ferocity that belied her petite frame, her determination fueled by a deep-seated anger.

Finally, the last monster fell. Mika stood alone, panting heavily, surrounded by the bodies of her fallen foes. She had defeated them but at a great cost. Her magic was depleted, and she was exhausted.

Mika was panting heavily, her body exhausted from the intense battle. "Thirty-eight monsters killed," she muttered to herself. "I think that's enough for now." She glanced around at the fallen creatures, their bodies scattered across the battlefield.

Her mana was nearly depleted, a faint glow emanating from her hands. She knew she needed to rest and recover her strength. With a heavy sigh, Mika began to walk away from the battlefield, her footsteps echoing in the eerie silence.

As she walked, she couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. She had fought bravely, defending the realm from a horde of monstrous creatures. But she also knew that this was just the beginning. The threat of the monsters was far from over.

Mika continued walking, her mind racing with thoughts of the battle she had just fought. She wondered what had caused the monsters to attack the realm. And she wondered if she would be able to stop them before they caused any more destruction to the human world.

Suddenly, a deafening roar from a distance shook the very ground beneath their feet. Mika's heart pounded in her chest as she looked up, her eyes scanning the horizon for the source of the sound.

There, in the distance, she saw it: a colossal, monstrous creature, its form shrouded in darkness. The roar had come from it.

The colossal creature roared again, its voice a thunderous rumble that shook the very foundations of the realm. With a terrifying speed, the monster leaped from the ground, its massive form a blur as it soared through the air.

Nightshade, A powerful yellow-colored monster that has amazing leg power. 60 feet tall. They can jump from the ground to a 50-foot-tall building. Their skin is as hard as steel, making them virtually invulnerable to physical attacks. Their eyes glow with an eerie red light, and their fangs are long and sharp, capable of piercing even the toughest armor.

Nightshade is a solitary creature, preferring to hunt alone. They are incredibly fast and agile, able to move through the shadows with ease

Mika's eyes widened and realized the creature was heading straight for her. She raised her twin shadows, preparing to defend herself. Mika said," Another one? I can't kill him, not in this position. crap...."The monster landed with a thunderous crash, the ground shaking beneath its massive weight. Dust and debris flew into the air, obscuring Mika's vision. She could hear the creature's heavy breathing, a low, menacing growl.

Without hesitation, Mika charged forward, her blades raised. Nightshade roared, its eyes filled with a feral rage. It lunged at Mika, its claws outstretched.

Mika dodged the attack, her movements fluid and precise. She slashed at the monster's legs, but its thick hide was impervious to her blades. Nightshade roared again, its voice a deafening cacophony.

Mika knew she had to find a way to injure the creature. She focused her magic, channeling all her energy into her blades. With a battle cry, she launched herself at Nightshade, her blades flashing in the sunlight.

The monster, sensing Mika's attack, raised its powerful arms to defend itself. Mika's blades clashed against the creature's tough hide, sparks flying. The monster roared in pain, but its skin remained largely unscathed.

Mika said," If I was in full strength, I could kill him somehow. But It's way too tough to penetrate."

Mika struggled to penetrate the creature's defenses. She tried different techniques and different angles, but nothing seemed to work. The monster, sensing her frustration, unleashed a wave of yellow energy from its hand. Mika was caught off guard and was sent flying backward. She bearly survived by blocking the energy with her blades.

The impact knocked the wind out of her, and she landed hard on the ground. She tried to get up, but her body ached. The monster advanced towards her, its eyes filled with malice. Mika was injured and bleeding from her face.

She said," I have no chance but to open the Earth realm and retreat."The Nightshade advanced towards Mika, its eyes filled with malice. Mika was injured and bleeding from her face. Just as the monster was about to strike, a figure emerged from the Sky.

It was a powerful swordsman, his age etched into his weathered face. With a swift movement, he drew his sword, the blade glinting in the sunlight. The swordsman charged at the Nightshade, his movements fluid and precise.

The monster roared, raising its arms to defend itself. The swordsman's blade clashed against the creature's tough hide, sparks flying. The Nightshade was surprised by the swordsman's strength and skill.

The swordsman fought with a ferocity that belied his age. He danced around the monster, dodging its attacks and striking with deadly precision. The swordsman said," Come fight me monster. My sword will penetrate you this time."The swordsman was fighting with Nightshade. But he escaped. Then he noticed the big explosion and came here.

" Can you walk, Human Wizard? The Swordsman asked Mika.

Mika replied," I am OK, but who are you?

The swordsman introduces himself with a sharp tone, "My name is Zenhira, from the Brave Kingdom of Zephyria."

Without wasting a second, he grips the hilt of his sword, his eyes narrowing in focus. "No time to waste," he mutters, then chants the spell, "Enhance!" A faint blue aura begins to envelop his blade. His muscles tighten, and with a swift motion, he runs his hand along the sword's edge.

But Nightshade quickly jumped from the ground, its dark figure twisting in the air, and was about to run away. Zenhira's eyes flashed with determination—there was no escape for the creature.

Mika shouted, "He's getting away, Mr. Zenhira!"

Zenhira's eyes flared with anger. "Come back here, you coward!" he bellowed as he prepared to give chase.

But Zenhira couldn't reach Nightshade as the creature soared higher into the sky.

Just as Nightshade seemed to escape, Kuro appeared out of nowhere, launching himself upward with incredible speed. With a fierce battle cry, he delivered a crushing punch straight to the monster's face, sending it spiraling back toward the ground.

Kuro muttered, "Double Impact!" as his fist collided with Nightshade's face, sending shockwaves rippling through the air. The force of the blow didn't just stop at the first punch—another wave of energy followed, crashing into the monster with twice the impact.

Nightshade's body twisted in pain, its tough hide cracking under the immense pressure as it was sent hurtling toward the ground, leaving a trail of dark smoke behind.

Nightshade went splat! The impact was so hard, it made a huge hole in the ground. Green goop oozed out of its wounds, making the area smell really bad. Its eyes went dull, and it looked like it was dead. The ground beneath it sizzled as the green stuff burned through the dirt.

Mika recognized him and said," Kuro, you came back."
